GIant iced tea lemonade for $.99!!!
My 6 inch chicken cutlet was notable because of its toasted bread and large amounts of shredded lettuce. Loveee when they do not skimp out my lettuce and tomato.
Yeah, I guess it's nothing THAT special, but it's adjacent to Ralph's and it's a really cheap. I think it's worth raving over even if it's just a sandwich joint. -

Great sandwiches in Syosset, NY. They have a sandwich here called the George Bush. Regardless of your political persuasions, this is one killer sandwich. It's a succulent chicken cutlet on a roll with melted cheese and a ton of bacon. This is on my top 5 of best sandwiches ever.
Mmmmmmm... sandwich (in my Homer Simpson voice)
Very casual atmosphere, friendly service! -

This is my favorite sandwich on all of Long Island! Their Eli Sub is fantastic; turkey, bacon, lettuce, onion and a little bit of mayo, you can't ask for anything better! The bread (and everything else for that matter) is extremely fresh. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good too. The food is prepared right then and there and it's done quickly, no waiting for you sir!
The place is a little dive-y but that just adds to the charm of this place. It's a rundown deli, you're not going there for the scenery kid, you're going there for a kick-butt sandwich! -

Westbury, NY
Have not gotten a bad sandwich from this place. Meatball parm on toasted garlic bread was amazing, there is so much meat on the sandwich you have to use a knife and fork. Other greats were the Italian stallion bomber with the works, and the chicken cutlet chedderella. The sandwiches seem pricy at first, but when you see that its a real sandwich, not a subway sized sandwich, its a good value.

Awesome sandwiches, that are generous (an understatement, cause theyre huge) and tasty...
people are nice, free parking, and it is right next to ralph's ices which is nice in the summer...
have had turkey roast beef combo with let/tom/onion and russian as well as their italian hero...both were amazing...
only downside, the salads...cole slaw, very ho hum....but apart from that this place is amazing -

Biggest and best hero in the area. Dont know why you'd go anywhere else for a the quality and value Get a half, or split one, cause there's now way to eat a whole. Tell them how you like it, they'll make whateve you want. They push so much cold cuts, that you can bet it's fresh.
Their egg sandwiches are also big and tasty! My work buds and I call it the dirty deli, but its more in the dated atmosphere and kitchen bathroom.......Women will hate it and find the chairs and tables uncomfortable, but for the dudes ...The heroes are worth the trip. -

This place can recommended by the hotel staff. We stopped in before closing and enjoyed the Village Hero special, which had a bit of everything. Nice bread, and the meat tasted good. No mayo, which I prefer.
Nice deli atmosphere, very casual. What you would expect the neighborhood deli to be. -

Huntington Station, NY
Been here plenty of times since I used to live in the area. Stopped in here today and had a small roast beef sandwich, sour cream and onion chips and a Fiji water. $5.50 total, not unreasonable at all, the women behind the counter is always nice to me and we talk for a little bit from time to time.
Not the greatest deli in the world but certainly not the worst.
Stay away from the tuna fish though, it always looks funky to me, go here for your dolphin fix ;-)

Facility itself is a bit of a dump, but their SPECIAL hero, which I've been enjoying probably for 20 years is THE best hero in all of NY, if not the United States!

Syosset, NY
People swarm in this deli for big cheap food. Go for the fun of it.. not for the quality.... they present well with their big heros parm'd & hustle bustle rustle it up feel in there.
Coffee is average..and breakfast sandwhiches show they use a crummy cheese... Also they use the strangest huge plastic containers of some generic mayo..
so go..go eat up this stuff if you find it fun... but it's not that good. haha
