when i lived in miami shores a few years back, i'd walk over to the village cafe at least twice a week for dinner. they were one of the first places to have free wifi. the dinners are pretty tasty. and i loved they're bread. quite often i'd eat 2 baskets all by my lonesome, then be so full that i'd have to take my dinner to go and eat it the next day.
i became a regular there, and the wait staff would recognize me... and bring my drink and bread. it really felt like a family place for me.
i haven't been back in probably 2-3 years. and i heard from someone (not sure if it's true or not) that there's new owners and the place has gone down hill. i'm still giving it 4 stars based off how i remember it. but one of these days, i'll try and go back to update this.
