This review is for Stephanie who is amazing and VERY reasonable.  I moved to San Diego a year ago and schedule my highlights around my business trips to the Bay Area so that I can see Stephanie.  She's very friendly, patient and does exactly what you want.  I've tried many, many, many other places in Campbell, Los Gatos and San Diego - no one does as good of a job as Steph.  She's hard to get into, and you need to book well in advance.

Stephanie is awesome! I was attending an event and wanted to have my hair styled. She squeezed me in at the last minute and got me in and out of the salon with a GORGEOUS style in about 30 minutes. I got compliments all night.....AND the curls held all night!  I definitely recommend going to see Stephanie.

I completely recommend Stephanie.  I went to her while I lived in Campbell.  She was always very attentive to what kind of look I was going for, and was always there with style recommendations when I needed advice.  She does a great job with color and even with an all over color, she gave it a little more depth and made it more natural looking by not making it just one tone over my entire head.

I had no idea what a steal the price was until I moved to Mountain View and tried to find someone close to home. I have yet to find anywhere for near $105 (last year's price, before tip) for cut and color for that quality and salon atmosphere.

I absolutely ADORE Sara Hardin - specializes in color and highlights. I've been going to her since 2002 when she was still working at Lisa Lisa in Los Altos, and she never seems to fail me.

BUT the other day, I decided to try out a different hairstylist, SIMPLY because she was A LOT CLOSER to my house... Well..... what a dumb move!!! My highlights didn't turn out the way I wanted them to, they were spaced out wayyyy too far, and some of the highlights were ORANGE/BRASSY looking.. I was disappointed, and most importantly...what a waste of freakin $$.

But thank goodness for Sara. Sara to the rescue!!! She fixed my hair in no time, and I love it. I KNEW I should've gone to her in the first place. Ugh, mah bad!!! Anyway, I LOVE how she weaves and puts the foil in her my hair. Haha.. I know, sounds weird. But I always pay close attention to how hairstylists weave their clients' hair when doing highlights, and she's the best one thus far... for me, at least. So if you really want some good highlights, color, toning.... Sara's the one for you, and after my previous experience, she's well worth the drive also!!!

Stephanie is great! She was recommended to me by an aquaintance and I'm so happy I went to her. I only wanted a trim, to clean up the ends and that is exactly what she did. I'm growing my hair out and have a fear that a stylist will hack it, but she didn't at all! Love it!

Jennifer Lewis is AMAZING!  I have been going to here for well over 2 years now and have loved each and every cut and color.  She's so great that I have sent everyone I know to go see her, including my two best friends and boyfriend who are all regulars now!

Jenn is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to your hair and will ask you at least 5 times if you are liking what she's doing, has done etc.  If you tell her something you want changed she's more than happy to do it.  One time, I realized I wasn't in love with my color, called her went in and she fixed it for free - and it wasn't even her fault I just flaked on going dark!

The best part - a cut and color is $105!!!!!!  The last time I was in she mentioned her prices may go up slightly (in Jenn world that means about $5) but she is so worth it!  

She also has a great referral program - send three people and you get a free cut - can't beat that!

I just moved to SF but will continue to drive down to have her do my hair, she'll do my hair for my wedding too (whenever that happens!)
