This is, by far, one of my favorite bars. Sure, it's not a gay bar, but it's damn cool. I tend to go on weeknights to meet with friends. Why? Because it's a leave well enough alone type of joint.
A bit of a dive, but in a good way, there's good, cheap drinks, fast and bright service, an outdoor patio that is private from the street, and super tasty dogs. The Happy Hour=awesome, the Power Hour=awesome.
It's a bar that seems to revel in its simplicity, and I dig that. Not sure what it's like on the weekends, but the weeknights are perfect.
course, I'm a bit biased, as i'm a bartender there.
We've started a table top gaming night on Mondays at the Vic. Bring your favorite games and some folks to play with and enjoy $1.50 Olympia's and $1 ballpark dogs all night!
We're carrying copies of catan, trailerpark wars, chess/backgammon/checkers, bananagrams, and more at the bar and aiming to attract you gamers any night of the week to set up!
Just after 2 weeks, we're already filling up the tables so come on down and grab a table early!
Yea though I walk through the valley of Yelp, I shall fear no evil - except you Victory. I really have no idea what this place is. It's dark as hell and it's not really a sports bar and it was dead. I think they specialize in hot dogs and cheap drinks during something called "power hour" but that sounds like a recipe for disaster.
HOLY COW!!
Begining today, our Recession Specials:
Monday; $1 Hot Dog's & $1 Olympia cans
Tuesdays; $1 Taco's & $2 Tecate cans
Wednesday, $1.
50 PBR, $5 Pitchers
This means you can still go out and have some fun in these troubled times. Don't forget about our "Power Hour" specials, which happen EVERYNIGHT from 11pm-1am.
See you later today!

King of the late night cheapassed drink venues.
I was poured a pint glassed sized greyhound with fresh squeezed fruit and was asked for $2.25 for the pleasure. It was such a sickeningly awesome deal, I had to throw the man a $5 and call it even.
There is some kind of high-demand hipster location next door with a huge line. I didn't really care as this place was nearly empty and sociable. Foolish hipsters! Fortunately your taste will improve as you mature.
Well hello Mr. strong-ass drink, and welcome to my mouth. Soon you shall enter the party that is my stomach, and then the sweet sweet ride that is my bloodstream. Hooray!
Oh power hour. How I adore thee. Let me count the ways in Vodka sodas and cherry stems.
Victory is mine!
(just not on live music night when it gets too loud to hear anyone talk, then I must admit defeat).
Interesting.
Did it feel a little bit like I walked in on a drug deal in progress? Yep.
Did I give a shit? I'd fight a crackhead for Lazy Boy IPA, and they have it on tap, so.... Nope.
Bonus? The grilled panini was A-OK.
This is not a sports bar.
It's a nice local bar. But if you've been there once and don't live within 4 blocks there is no reason to return.

This place is dead. It's not really a sports bar, either.
I've been walking past this bar for months, but always defaulted to the newer and less divey bars nearby. On a whim, my friends and I met for a Friday happy hour, and I was extremely impressed. While divey on the outside, the bar is quite cozy and clean inside, with really comfortable and large bar stools. We took advantage of the $7 PBR pitches, which are available until 7PM. The music was particularly good - I can't remember the last time I'd heard November Rain the whole way through.
My only complaint is the food selection. If you're not looking for a polish hot dog, there is little selection in the evening. My friends and I had to wander to find food, which was probably good considering I was stumbling and it was only 7PM.
I'm loathe to give out 5 stars I find. There needs to be character. Good service. Clean bathrooms. That something something that makes that 5th star a natural click.
Half priced drinks between 10 and 11. That's about the time that I need them. The only problem with this place is I had no idea where to tell my cab driver to let me out. Fortunately I tip big and he spun around and came back to tell me it was ahead, on the left.
Perhaps I'm a sucker for good company. I give this 5 stars, and I'm not so certain that it's just because Trevor, Jessie, Marissa, and Paul are cool folks. Welp, if it is, then you make your own judgement on how to rate this place. I personally give it 5 stars, and maybe that's cuz they whiskey and Alaskan amber was free flowing and cheap, the stephen king horror movies were playing on the monitor, the bathroom was definitely a unique experience, or maybe cuz the company was fun and interesting. Whatevah. Bring some friends and have a blast.
I love this place for the Power Hour, which is now slightly a misnomer, since it has grown into 2 mighty Hours of Power, 11pm-1am, every night. Though no longer half-price anything you can drink, it's still half-price draft beer and well drinks, and $2 off call drinks, so overall I think it's a better deal when you consider your Total Cost of Intoxication. (No more $3.75 Glenlivet Rusty Nails, but I should probably cut back on those anyway.)
They also have daily drink specials, though most are made with well liquor, which my liver now rejects. The drinks on the menus on the tables are okay, but I recommend going off-menu and exploring the top shelf liquors during Power Hour. Bartender Lawrence is a great guy and happy to offer suggestions.
I haven't tried the food yet, but the pub grub menu is very enticing. I've already made a resolution to come back and try the Polish dogs loaded with mustard, relish, sauerkraut, and jalapenos.
Victory is the perfect low-key bar, and after discovering (and surviving)a power hour downing Jameson for $3.75, it's one I'll definitely return to. In addition to the liquor, they have about 6 beers on draft as well.
The bar is dark, but you get plenty of lighting off the 3 big screen TVs on the wall. Service was great, and the crowd was friendly, as I stopped by solo. Overall, it's a nice change in pace - a friendly neighborhood bar with good service, good people, and good prices.
Very cool place. I've always wanted to come here because I like winning and I like lounging. Came here to grab a drink with a flakey friend of mine. He did not disappoint. Luckily I had convinced some other friends to check out the happy hour right before the last debate. All my friends were surprised by how clean it was and how nice the bartender was. I wasn't too surprised by the cleanliness, but the bartender was supernice and made really great vodka tonics. In addition, the 2.50 polish hot dog was off the hook! Juicy, hot and tangy, just the way I like it...in my mouth. Anyway, I will definitely come back, perhaps around power hour and hopefully when my Blazers are on the tube.
I LOVE this place. Half priced drinks from 11-1am everyday! Thats a no brainer. Neat deck, cool staff, great sandwiches & scratch cocktails.
Nice face lift on Lobo, cool, clean, sports bar, without the yahoo's, just a super regular guy who really does know everything because he reads the sports page three times throughout 8 PBR's, genuis. Perfect hot dogs to go down with a little NCAA tournament, hopefully when the sun comes out, ribs on the deck!
Victory is so amazingly outstanding. The location is great, their heater is overwhelmingly effective, the regulars are real people that know how to drink, and they open early for the game on Sunday. Not to mention that the staff know what they're doing. See you there.
