Excellent espresso.  Friendly staff, good service.  Even latte art!  Night and day difference compared to Ink next door.  I left Ink after drinking half my coffee because the staff was rude and the coffee was garbage.  So happy that I gave Victoria's a try.  High quality espresso...just what I was looking for.  And they have free wifi!  Nice seating area with plenty of comfortable tables.  Well done!  I'm having a hard time understanding the negative reviews here....the only minor criticism I have is their prices are a little high.  But this is Aspen.

great place. I had a perfect latte and muffin, and went back yesterday for a stew and a berry scone. Nice people. Good honest vibe at the base of the gondola.

The best espresso in Aspen. Although I was served one bad pour, the young staff grudgingly repoured it. With such good beans and equipment, they make one good cup, so don't take a crappy pour. When it's good here, it's really good.
Sadly, the baked goods are just so-so.

    Complete Assholes

Victoria's is trying to sue a former employee and stop him from working anywhere else for two years. What a bunch of shitbags. I'm never buying another cup of coffee there again

Ok first of all, if the sign says Espresso and Wine bar, I would expect to be able to get wine. My friend and I went in wanting a glass of wine and they told us that they can not sell it yet. Umm, why open if you can't sell half your menu AND you have bottles ready to go? I then ordered a coffee drink and sat down. Worst latte I had ever had. I ended up throwing it out because I just couldn't stand the taste anymore. Next time, I will go across the street to Starbucks.

This cafe has charm and good location.  It's about a block from the ski lifts and across the street from the park.

In the winter months, they employ international college students who come to the US to improve their English so please be patient with the help.

They have a wide selection of loose leaf tea and coffee drinks to keep you warm.  The soups and paninis are great and it's a warm place to talk to the wide variety of people that head to Aspen in the wintertime from all over the world.

Cute shop. Very well done for an independent shop.

I had to stop in here to get an afternoon coffee, because we were walking around doing shopping and after the sun went behind the mountain, it dropped 20 degrees. I only had the french press coffee, but I was just fine and did the trick, I would have like to have tried the food or the ice creams but it was just way too cold. But i thought this little shop just added to the charm that Aspen has.

This is probably one of the better cafe/coffee shop spots I've found so far here. The ice cream was surprisingly delicious and full on flavor - the menu features several interesting flavors like chai, sea salt caramel, coconut lime, nutella, and oatmeal chocolate. A little pricey at $5 for a small cup, but I was happy with the quality.

Good selection of pastries in the display, smoothies, salads and soups change daily.

Plenty of seats, two outlets. Cup of water had some dirt in it, and there were too many flies in the environment...but for what it's worth, I'll probably be back.

Coming to Aspen often during the past 25 years, my pals and I became quite picky with the places we would frequent.  This year, we were extremely pleased to discover Victoria's for the first time.  This small, but cozy cafe features some awesome coffee drinks, "out of this world" food, and some fantastic personal service.  Of course, with great food comes great responsibility.  We noted that service here can take MUCH longer than you'd expect at McDonald's!  But hey, we did not come to Aspen to get McDonald's-like speedy service!  When served, the drink and food at Victoria's does NOT disappoint (and that's what counts, really).

Victoria's has a nice atmosphere too - and some wonderful hosts!  During our visit, we were fortunate to actually meet the owners (John and...yes, Victoria)!  Both are delightfully wonderful people who took the time out of their busy day to chat with us.  They really care about their establishment (something that is admittedly lacking at some other establishments) and their guests.  We sure appreciated their attention to detail here and wish café's everywhere were like the "family" we found at Victoria's.  In our opinion, Victoria's is one of those rare places in Aspen that has the quality of a fine, yet casual establishment, fantastic food and drink and (through their owners, employees and fellow guests) exudes the personality of a family establishment that really cares.

My friends and I look forward to returning to Victoria's the next time we're in Aspen.

I feel as if Victoria's had me in mind when they designed there concept: an espresso AND wine bar in my all time favorite ski town around the corner from my place and en route to the mountain.

Everything is made in house from scratch and it shows: The doughnut muffin tops were light and fluffy; the chocolate croissants were delicate, flaky and streaked with gooey melted chocolate; whoever created those dulce de leche cookies deserves a special spot in heaven.

The service was also top notch: the counter staff were warm and attentive and made killer macchiattos on multiple occasions.

I didn't get a chance to sample the wines, but the selection looked fun and funky and super artisanal (hellooooooooo Colorado Gewurtztraminer!).

Ooh, love their chai lattes, coffee and espresso drinks!  These folks take pride in knowing how to prepare a latte.

Enjoyed a fresh pastry and came back for a scrumptious soup and panini lunch.  We have friends that love to devour their ice cream.

Owners are great people who care about their food.  Atmosphere was casual with a touch of sophistication.

I'm glad Nick enjoyed his visit, but honestly I was tremendously disappointed.  I really wanted to love this place and I was particularly interested in the wine and the ice cream.   However....
The staff seemed disheveled and confused by their own menu.  The girl working the counter ws so timid and scared I actually had to ask her if she was taking our order!  Until that point I was asking her questions and she just kept smiling at me but not answering.

Their wine board didn't have any wines listed, and I couldn't make enough eye contact with anyone to ask why.  I admired the ice cream which a sign outside said was "house made, small batch" and the girl behind the counter then told the woman in front of me about the father son duo that make it in Boulder.  Granted, that is small batch and not made by a major manufacturer, but not exactly the impression the sign gave me.  Nonetheless, I planned to come back for dessert.

We ordered sandwiches, although she wasn't sure what the price was (wasn't she the one ringing them up?). The other two women were running around frantically and complaining about someone being on break.

While we waited for our sandwiches (over 10 minutes) we overheard 1 woman complain that she'd been charged 3 different prices for iced tea over the last 3 days.

Finally we received our order and the sandwiches were surprisingly small.  Some sort of 4x4 inch ciabatta bread, but it was tasty.  The pasta salad was a sore disappointment.  It was listed as an entree, but what we received was literally 3 fork fulls of pasta in a large 1/2 pound Deli container.

Our total order came to $29 so I'm thinking the sandwiches were around $9 each.  But I didn't find them quite worth that money, even in Aspen.

The lunch was saved by the fact that we were able to take it down the street and watch the dogs and kids play in the fountain.

But after that experience, not even small-batch ice cream was enough to get me back in the door.

Had an incredibly good experience here. I was a little leery of the pretentious tone (and prices) but the espresso macchiato really was as good as the pretense claimed. The cute barista made my drink twice, when she felt the foam wasn't quite right. Then brought a complimentary one over to me after I'd been there for a couple hours.

The chicken/bacon/avocado sandwich I ordered was also really tasty (though not "Incredible" like the server said).

I was stunned to have stumbled into Aspen on a beautiful Sunday morning to discover that there is pretty much nothing open.  The restaurant we had planned to eat breakfast at was closed...on a Sunday?!?  We wondered around the downtown area until we found a large gathering of folks, hovering around Victoria's.  There is nothing special about the interior - it's simple and functional.  The staff is friendly and efficient, especially considering the mass of people lined up.  My coffee was fabulous - a well made macchiato.  What else could I ask for?  The pastries are meh, but I really enjoyed my lox and bagel - a classic that is hard to f--- up.  Overall, big points for having coffee bright and early on a lazy Sunday.

    wow.  poor poor poor service.

it  was a very warm day in aspen and i wanted ice cream -- STAT.  one of the friendly tourist booth ladies recommended this joint, and said that the flavors were "different".

the cashiers all seem to be in their teens, and were not too thrilled to be working there.  in fact, i overheard one girl tell another about the cashier that was helping me, "she [cashier] is so good.  i can't be at the register for too long, i start to hate people."  WOW!  i have ears young maz-madamoiselle.  learn to be a little more discreet dumbass.

i got the honey lavender, sea salt caramel combo.  i have an addiction to this flavor combo... it's ridiculous, and delicious.

my friend got the dolce gorgonzola.  (which sounds strange, but was actually quite delicious -- sweet and salty -- yum!)  however, it seemed that the young ladies at the front seemed to forget that she ordered it, probably as soon as she paid for it.  she said that they kept looking at her dumbly as she was standing there waiting for them to give her her scoop, while other people were being served before her.

another friend ordered the affogato, straight from the menu.  the cashier didn't have a clue what that was and even asked another girl if they served that.  my friend pointed at their menu, and said -- "it's right here" then proceeded to describe how it was made.  WOW.

their ice cream is delicious, but the service seriously needs to get it together.  if i am ever in aspen again, i won't lie -- i probably will stop by again, but only because i'm an ice cream monster.

So the coffee is good -- their espresso has the right consistency and balance to it.  Their smoothies are good.  Now their "brekkie", this is where they lose me.  They have absolutely wretched eggs and bacon.  Runny/watery eggs with a sweet flavor and bacon looks like vegan bacon (I don't think it was).  So get the coffee, skip the breakfast.

My wife and I just stopped by Victoria's to try their ice cream. It was an amazing treat for our taste buds. Their flavors are inventive - choices like Bourbon Chocolate, Strawberry Pinot, Cupcake, and Chili Chai. And they taste fantastic. Their ice cream is smooth, without without any sign of any unwanted frozen crystals. If you are an ice cream connoisseur you should definitely check them out. They beat Paradise Bakery hands down.

Went here twice for breakfast while in town and loved it... They had great blood orange juice and I also tried a peach ginger yogurt drink that was wonderful... I had scrambled eggs that were divine and crisp bacon... I also had a chocolate muffin top which was really good and baked that day.  It was busy there both times so the word is out--- you can take your food and sit outside which is nice.   You order your food and then sit down until they call you -- not much of a wait.   Would eat here again.

Love this place!  Ok, so here's the real deal.  These people know how to make an espresso drink.  Fresh beans, right temperature, right pressure.  A coffee drinkers delight!  The fresh homemade pastries are superb.  Croissants are crispy!
