As far as bowling alleys go this one is a-ok.
It seems to me that when it comes to a bowling alley either you get a retro-70's funk alley (aka not updated in 40 years) or an ultra modern loungy "I'm so cool it costs 10 dollars a game to bowl' kind of just-built place. This is the first type and it pretty much lives up to those standards. The lanes work. The selection of house balls and shoes are okay. The prices are pretty cheap. The people who work there are friendly as far as I've seen. I've never had a problem with being in trouble for breaking any rules.
I have found that it is actually a cool place to hang out- not many people there, you can stay as long as you want, no need to spend excessive money, not too loud, can drink if you want to, etc. etc.
Go Victor Bowl! -

Went here with friends of ours and their three-year-old this weekend. I felt as if I had stepped back in time about 15 years. Definitely an older place. It has about 40 lanes, a small arcade, bar and a little eatery. It was a fun time, though we probably won't go back for a long time, since the place in general has a lot of rules and is just a bit of a hassle.
One thing that I can't emphasize enough, and trust me the staff will let you know as well, all beverages and food must be kept on the back counter, not anywhere near where you are bowling. This is repeated over and over the loud speaker, and if you don't follow directions, they will call you out by lane number. It is like loud speaker tattle-tale, it is quite amusing.Listed in: First!!

The bar is a nice place to lounge. Mixed drinks are hit or miss when you go and are priced ok. The pool table is horrible as well as the cues.
As for the bowling, NO music. Bowling would be a lot more fun if they played some music. -

Came here for my friend's 31st birthday. We figured hey we are getting older and didn't want to go out and do it big but still wanted to have some fun. We had a group of 12 so we came early to buy our wrist bands and lanes upfront. The guy at the counter was extremely rude to us. You could tell he was miserable and either hated his job or was having a bad day. Later on in the night we came back for the black lights bowling. We were excited. My friend and I went to the bar to buy a drink. We ordered a captian and coke in which they measure the alcohol which ok I get it is a place where families come to bowl but if you are gonna pour a small shot in a drink and charge me $8 thats just not ok. So about 40 mins later my friend and I went back to the bar to buy a round for my friend who's birthday it was and I was making simple talk with the bartender, asking him how his night was at etc and he then proceeds to tell me that he can no longer serve me alcohol because I appeared to be drunk. ARE YOU SERIOUS???? I had one lousy drink which consisted of a small measured shot and you are cutting me off??? Look just because the only girls that would talk to you are drunk doesn't mean I am. What a loser jerk he was. I couldn't believe it. I was simply trying to buy my friend a drink for her birthday. This whole situation really mad me mad but I am a respectful adult and handled it well and walked away. I knew in the back of my mind that no matter what if I wanted a drink for myself or for my friend I could send any of the other 11 people I was with to buy it.
So above all 2 different people were rude to my friends and I and it just wasn't the experience I was looking for. Would not recommend this place unless you are well known there and are in some kind of bowling league -

So...$18 each for six people on one lane and they didn't have kids prices! The guy at the counter was really rude. We got our lane and then went to buy a pitcher of beer. But...they don't allow pitchers while bowling! wft. I guess they must have had a problem with underage drinking, however they didn't card me for the beers that I bought (even though I'm 30 I still get carded 99% of the time). Then we asked for bumpers for the 5 year old. The guy at the counter said "you only have one kid in your group I can't let you have bumpers." wft again! I told him "we have one kid who is crying because she hasn't knocked down a single pin. we're not trying to fuck around here, just put the bumpers up." So he did. But not sure why the staff were on such a power trip. We're customers with a simple request what's the big deal. Had a fun night, despite the customer service. But I wouldn't choose this bowling alley again!
