the vintage snob returns with yet another scathing review. except not really, because this place was amazingggggg. i went in looking for a faux fur coat, and saw many gorgeous contenders, none of which looked quite right on me. the shoe selection is pretty staggering, and the prices are not your typical sky high even for vintage nyc prices, and the guy at the counter was nice even though he was closing soon. i got a really cute colorblocked purse for maybe $10.
love!!!!

Though I wasn't exactly blown away by this place, I give them 4 stars because their prices are WAY better than most of New York's vintage shops, and the selection is concentrated mostly-goodness, rather than massive mediocrity.
I didn't find anything I liked here, but it was fun to scan the racks. Unfortunately, though I do love most vintage, I'm not that into polyester unless it's beyond fabulous. And almost everything here is polyester. There were some decent shoes, a very exciting dress selection, and a couple men's racks, which is always nice.
So I didn't find anything. But with prices in the $15-50 range (rather than the usual $100+ range) I'd say it's worth a dig. And if mid-length polyester dresses are your thing (no judgement here), make a beeline to this joint.

quite good. everything was around 20$, and they had a fairly good amount of clothes in there. i didn't buy anything, but i would have. it was definitely an improvement over the usual new york thrift shop/vintage shop (reasonable prices and interesting finds). overall i was impressed, and would go again.

Viceversa calls itself a "vintage warehouse," but really it is just a thrift shop with racks and racks of clothes. I suspect that it would take hours of sifting to find anything really worthwhile. Think Andy's Cheepees - lots of t-shirts and a boy-friendly atmosphere.
