-i followed ashley here from j gordon in lincoln park. shes done my color and cut for something like 2 years now (?!). shes sweet, she listens to what you want, and she remembers what you like. she also seems to genuinely love what she does, which makes me feel confident when she wields the scissors (im normally a hair-cut-phobe :)).
-i *love* the location -- its a cinch to get to on public transportation.
-i love the interior -- it feels sleek and upscale, and very open, bright, and spacious (which i never realized mattered to me until i experienced it).
pretty much just love love love it :) would recommend both to folks actively looking for a new salon, and even those who are ok where they are -- give it a try ;)
I followed natalie here from fringe. I kind of like that she moved because I get an itch to change salons every year or so. So I got to keep the same stylist AND move to a new place. perfection. I am getting a little squeamish in my old age, anyway, and find that I don't bravely go to new stylists like I used to.
The place is really cool inside--a very hip and modern vibe. Not too much to say other than that--average prices, good stylist, cool decor.
Verto Salon is an awesome experience! I love the incredibly hip interior (the mirrors are gorgeous!), the luxorious products and the friendly staff. I don't get my hair cut that often, so when I do - I want it to feel like a total treat - and Verto Salon accomplishes just that. Ashley always takes so much time with me and I leave feeling pampered and gorgeus! I love going here and my hair loves it too :)
I followed Natalie here, and am glad that she found such an awesome place! The space is really nice and there is convenient parking in the parking lot across the street. I have already referred some friends and can't wait to go back in a couple of months for my next trim!
