The shop is oozing with personality. Really, it's such a change from the usual main stream salon. Usually I dodge having my haircut like a 2 year old does-- but I can't wait to go back already. There is so much to look at and talk about. In fact, I should have been coming here years ago. I gladly would have driven from Kingwood had I known better.
When I walked through the door yesterday, I knew I was cutting off 10" for Locks- but that's it. Like always, I had no idea how I wanted it cut & styled. I have weird hair.
I told Sharon what I usually ask for when I go short -- and from there she got a bunch of ideas just by playing with my hair and feeling out how much time I plan to spend on it everyday.
Sharon is fantastic!!! She knows hair and is very good at what she does. She's very fast, yet precise. I couldn't be happier with my new hair place. As Farrah likes to say, I just had to yelp about it!
This is my favorite place to get my hair done. It is a community type of hair salon, as everybody is super friendly and just stops on by to say hello. I also enjoy all of the busy decor inside. My stylist is Jill, and she always does an amazing job with my hair. I just go in and tell her I want some bright red streaks and whatever else she feels like doing. It is almost impossible to find places that will dye your hair bright and unusual colors, and to give daring cuts and styles!

This is a place to sit and chat. I visit often and I never get tired of going. All the people there are interesting and fun loving. The services are the best and I will never get my hair cut anywhere else. Miss Venus is a huge supporter of community and fantastic when it comes to colour as are the rest of the staff. What ever your needs this place will fill the bill. Stuffed shirts should be left at home.
Excellent place for many reasons. 1 - Sharon does the greatest cuts. Pays attention to you and cuts it so that it works. 2 - Miss Venus the owner - great supporter of the community and the art car sits right outside. 3 - Great history in the area - shop's been there for years - lots of history and long-time clients. Oh - and back to the hair - great colorists. These ladies pay attention to what they are doing and look out for their customers.
