I love Venus! I love the staff, the treatments and the results. My favorite body treatment is the endermologie and no one does it as well as Marcia. I have tried this treatment at other spas so I know what I am talking about.... You need to be strong to give a good endermologie and Marcia is super strong.
Genieve gives the best facial! I cannot believe the results that I get from her cosmecanique treatment and it feels great!
I was in a funk. Getting older - my body and face were sagging. After seeing the results that I was getting from Venus, I became a member which commits me to 4 appointments a month. It keeps getting better and I feel good about myself again. I wore a bikini in Mexico over Christmas and felt proud. Times are tough. Money is tight. It's taken some time for me to find an esthetician I can trust. After searching Trubates for a good deal, I found Venus Body Care. I saw that they'd received good reviews for the waxing services so I thought I'd give it a try, and am glad that I did. Genevieve is amazing - very professional, sweet and she always does a great job. In addition to brazilians, I've also had a facial done.
All in all, it's a great place that provides excellent service. -

To preface, I get brazilians on a somewhat regular basis at a fantastic place in Nob Hill. However, my life as of late has been a jam-packed a slew of weddings, late nights at work and a ton of other commitments, and my somewhat regular waxing routine became non-existent. A Bloomspot offer for Venus Bodywork woke me up (as did an appearance in a bathing suit) and I promptly booked a lunch appointment and went in today.
The pros:
- A 15-minute walk from my office allowed me to duck out at lunch rather than being restricted to nights and weekends.
- Fast reservation via email--I managed to get in at a convenient time in less than a week.
- Clean and efficient--it's not a luxury spa, but it's clean and comfortable. My waxer, Gennevieve (sp?) was fast, courteous and professional and had me in and out in less than 45 minutes.
- As a first-time client, I was able to pre-pay at a discounted rate for my next appointment.
The cons:
- Not super convenient to my house for evening appointments, and with its proximity to 6th Street in SOMA, I'd be a little cautious at night.
Bottom line: A great place to slip out for quick daytime appointment. -

I was first introduced to Venus Bodyworks by Yelp's coupon. After one session of dermasonic and endermology, I noticed a difference. The thigh part was nicer and smoother looking.
So I bought their package of 3 treatments and 2 wraps. I looked wonderful after the treatments were done. My body was nice and toned. The fat around my body were just more well spread so there was no lumpy areas. Also, I noticed that doing cruches and running the day after the treatment increased the tone-ness of my body. If you want to be bikini ready, I would def. come here and check them out. I do believe they are reasonably priced.
Also, it depends on how much body fat you have, so for me, I'm Asian and weigh 107 lbs when I first went to Venus, so they said I only need about 3-5 sessions to look great.
By the way, I did this during the spring/summer months. And of course after the summer, I have exercised a lot less and have not received a treatment, so some of the cellulite do appear back. -

I came to Venus Bodywork after much research and wanting to tighten and tone before my wedding. I had my bridal shower gifts purchased here.
Miri- the owner's sister who manages the place, was my initial contact. She was very friendly and informative and answered my questions- she knew her stuff. I came in and consulted with her, I was very comfortable working with her and we set our appts.
Went in for my first session, everything went well. Afterwards, I was told that I may be working with other girls for a few appts. since Miri was not available. I wasn't really comfortable with this, but I went along with it since Miri convinced me that her girls did just as great of work as she did.
Fast forward to the appt. with the different employee. My experience was completely different. I was getting the sudatonic wrap. The girl was not attentive to where she put the mixture on my body like Miri did (focusing on trouble spots) and the wrap was not as warm as the last one. Also, I had sat there for about 10 minutes after the machine turned off, even called out to her but she couldn't hear me. She came in casually not thinking to check on me and she was not very comforting in what I consider to be a vulnerable environment. I really received no results from that treatment...
It worsened that night, the wrap had done nothing but inflame me so much that my clothes were not fitting and I had to sit in a sauna for 90 minutes to release what the wrap had not. I was miserable and uncomfortable all night.
I went to my next appt.and saw Miri. I told her about my experience and Miri fought against me the entire time (kindly) telling me that was her best girl who she personally trained and there was no way that it went all wrong. She blamed it on me not drinking enough water that day (I drank a gallon a day as I was cleansing), the weather not being as warm and me being a stressed out bride. Funny, I didn't have that issue with my first sudatonic and I hadn't changed a thing.
After that appt. with Miri, I decided that I wanted to hold off on future appts. and address this by email to Miri. I don't think she understood that I was upset with the lack of results and having to deal with adverse ones later that evening.
So I sent her an email, outlining why I felt like I did and how I felt like she wasn't listening to me, the customer, and how I felt like since that appt. I was not getting the results I wanted. Miri continued to defend her employee and apologized for my dissatisfaction in my results. Otherwise, she was not acknowledging my complaint and kept putting it off with different excuses.
So I went to a different spa in the East Bay and had much better results. They were very receptive to how I felt with each treatment and even called to see how I was doing after my first appt. and gave me a list of things that I could do on my own at home to further my results- which I had asked of Miri but she was insistent that I just needed to let my body take in the experience and not overdo it. The other spa gave the Nordstroms of customer service and allowed me to take control of my results with a more aggressive approach which was exactly what I was looking for. am the kind of person who will go the distance if I have the ability to and it was the kind of approach I needed.
Miri did sell me a cool salve she uses for the cryotherapy wraps, but it is only a mix of aloe vera and menthol, which kills inflammation but doesn't do much in the way of results- very temporary but great for after a hard workout. I think moreover, since I was coming to Miri for losing inches, it is automatically assumed that I don't know what I am doing and therefore everything was being dumbed down to me instead of leveraging my knowledge for health (I am a med student) and ambition to maximize the results. I know the Miri knows a lot, but there was no appreciation for my efforts and what I was doing to help myself- Miri was more interested in schooling me rather than empowering me. I had no dog in my own fight.
I really enjoyed Miri, but I think when you are in the service industry, you have to put your guard down and realize that not one approach fits all, and neither do certain 'therapists.' It was difficult for me to communicate anything with Miri because like me, she is very strong minded and does not back down from her convictions and she would supersede anything I wanted to discuss. But in this case, I wish she would have listened to what I was saying as a customer rather than debate with me because I probably would have continued my treatments with her. But customer service is #1 for me, despite how much I like a person, or their services.
Tread carefully here and do your research. While I think they do offer great products, I would not see anyone else but Miri and if something does not feel right or is not meeting your level of expectation, make sure you speak up for yourself. -

This review is for the brazilian wax. Genevieve is still the best. This last appointment was almost painless (waxing hurts in general). She has a very calming and loving energy. I have been there about 4 times already, so I can say she gets this review honestly and fairly!

I really like the convenience of this location, the array of services offered and the owner. I had several treatments from this place two of which were performed by the owner, and one by a staff member. I have to say there is a huge difference in getting the same smoothing treatment by different technician. The owner is super attentive, honest, and extremely thorough.
The place: good soma location
The staff: friendly, thorough
The procedure: dermosonic (3 sessions made a difference)
The bottom line: i like and will come back for other services -

Venus Bodywork was amazing. I've always wanted to try a body wrap, but I'm a student and have seen how expensive these treatments are. Venus was offering a superb deal, so a friend and I went to try it out.
The ladies here were unbelievably personable and informative. They told us how each treatment works and what to expect. They made sure were were getting the right treatment for the results we expected.
If you are shy about stripping down, they are very assuring and make sure you feel comfortable in every way. The rooms are very private with a calming atmosphere.
There are quite a few treatments to choose, and we chose the clay wrap.
The treatment was so soothing that I fell asleep, and so did my friend!
I would love to return in the future.
It may take more than one wrap (two?) to start seeing inch-loss results, but it felt good to get some toxins out of my body from this initial wrap. -

Let me just say, I HATE San Francisco. Well, not really, but I do hate driving out there. If you schedule an appointment here, CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR INSTRUCTIONS. I didn't, which resulted in a bad trip.
Entered the address in my navigator, and was on my way. When it said I had arrived to the destination, I pulled over (plenty of street meter parking, but BEWARE $3.00 per hour, or the parking garage charges $2.00/15 minutes!!), Scrambled and found 15 minutes were of change. I was thirty minutes early, so I walked up the block to the gas station for some change, "No change" the hooded boy said. Walked back to my car, didn't see Venus ANYWHERE. Called about 10 times, no answer.
Jump BACK into my car, and head down Folsom looking for Venus. No Venus. Eeeeek, WRONG right turn, put me back on 80EAST, FUCKKKKK!. U-Turn and had to pay ANOTHER $4 toll, even after explaining to the toll guy I paid it 12minutes ago and was just lost. Pulled over, READ the email, "We are located on the third floor instead SOMA HEALTH, please enter security code upon entrance to building." I was parked across the street from it the whole time. RAWR!
Almost late for my appointment (I hate to be late for ANYTHING), ran inside and asked Marcia if she had change. She gave me 3 bucks in coins in exchange for 3 dollar bills. Ran outside, put three bucks of quarters in the machine, ran back upstairs, 5 minute prep time, 30 minutes overall.
Sam look care of me, really nice and sweet girl. I didn't get the vibe from Marcia like everyone else here on Yelp did, so I can't give five stars. I don't think I'll be returning :( -

This place is absolutely amazing, and truly gives you results (I went in expecting no changes, but was pleasantly surprised that everything worked!).
First, I'd like to point out to those reading reviews to find out if this is the place for you - notice how most of the lower-rated reviews are complaining about the parking situation in SOMA, not about the services provided, the people providing them, and the quality and pricing of the service. Anyone who knows San Francisco should know that street parking is annoying and requires a few extra dollars in coins, a meter card, or the willingness to walk a block to park in a garage. I am lucky to live less than a block away, but for everyone else, welcome to downtown San Francisco parking. If I didn't live right here, I'd pay the $5 to park. It is worth it, and last time I checked, my legs can walk a block without whining.
At first I looked up the Velashape system, an idea given to my by (my guilty pleasure) Keeping up with the Kardashians. It turns out it's a big product plug, for an expensive product that gives little to no results. Don't waste your time looking for or at that service, because you'll soon find out your money has been wasted, too.
That is when I found Venus and their top-of-the-line product and service - Marcia is absolutely amazing! I went in with a minor cellulite issue, mainly on my buttocks and upper thighs. I'm 26 years old, and weigh about 105-110 lbs., and am a size 0 to 1, and yes, just like many of who might be reading this, was affected by cellulite. Some say genetics were the cause, others birth control (and the changes in hormones that come with their use). Whatever the cause, I knew I had to take some kind of action, especially seeing as I go on 2-3 vacations in a year where bikini-wear is pretty much a must.
My first time going in, I was welcomed with water or tea, and was brought into one of their rooms for evaluation. I did have a little bit of cellulite, and Marcia reassured me that she would work with me to get towards the results I wanted. No promises were made, since each person and each body type reacts differently. I appreciated not being told I was going to have the stars. After the first dermasonic and heccus sessions, I saw results. Even my husband noticed immediately! It wasn't normal to get such quick results, so it exceeded my initial expectations. A package of 5 sessions later, I see almost no cellulite, no dimpling, just a smooth posterior! I was ready to go on my vacation!
I highly recommend Venus for anyone looking to achieve real results with kind and friendly people! I expected nothing and got everything I could hope for! Thank you Marcia and staff for everything you have done for me, and for making me feel comfortable with such an uncomfortable topic! -

They have had at least one good esthetician working here to my knowledge, but their management is snide and disappointingly unprofessional.
I originally purchased a deal through groupon to try this place out; I normally do this if a place is new to me. When I was there, the manager spent a good amount of time complaining to me about how groupon had strong-armed them. He went on about how they had wanted to do the promotion in the winter or spring, but groupon pushed it back to the summer and at that point Venus Bodywork was committed and couldn't back out. This, he said, was causing them trouble because their discounted groupon clients were conflicting with their regular clients as business picked up in the summer. I literally felt guilty for having booked an appointment with a groupon voucher. The facial I had was thorough, but it was hard to feel like I was in a place of respite given the circumstances.
Against my better judgement with respect to management, I booked a package for another treatment, because I thought the esthetician, at least, was good to work with. After the 1st session, the esthetician I had worked with disappeared. I called to make an appointment and was told she was no longer in the state of California. No courtesy call in advance, nothing. The management acted like they had no obligation to their customers to update them on such goings on. I requested a refund for the remainder of my package and they REFUSED to give me a full refund. I would have disputed the credit card charge with American Express, but at the point this happened the deadline to do so had passed.
In general, I think Venus Bodywork would be a good experience if it weren't for the callous attitude of the management and their inability to accept responsibility for negligent behavior. There are plenty of reasonably priced spas in San Francisco; try taking your money elsewhere. -

I just returned home from Venus and what better way to spend a rainy and cold Sat. afternoon than in the warmth of the sudatonic wrap, detoxing and slimming and seeing Marcia who is indeed an angel.
Marcia has helped me more ways than one, and I am so thankful to have found her place. Lots of interesting services offered, super friendly staff and prices that won't be beat in this city.

LOVE IT!
I've had the best experience of services and atmosphere at Venus! Very friendly, knowledgeable and open minded staff. I would highly recommend Marcia for any kind of body treatments! The results are stunning!!! Marcia has "golden" hands that can make miracles with your body... If you ever had any hesitation with cellulite you should definitely get a Body contouring package! And the prices are much less than any other spa's in downtown SF. They are pretty busy though out the week, so hurry up and make you appointment in advance:) -

Marcia, the manager of this place, is an ANGEL!
Unfortunately, I live in L.A. and can't take full advantage of Venus Bodywork, but the Sudatonic treatments Marcia gave me were fantastic. She fully understands how all of the treatments work. She not only advises you on what will be most beneficial for you, but also understands how we women have so much pressure to look perfect and she has a tremendous amount of compassion!!
Everything here is clean, organized and extremely professional. You can't go wrong with Venus, and do yourself a favor, and ask for MARCIA. You will love her. -

Pros: Extremely nice employees!
Cons: no parking, uncomfortably hot/sweaty/constricting, immediate results that do not last.
I would give it a 2 but the people were just so nice. I did the clay mineral body wrap and seriously did not enjoy it. You start off by stripping completely naked besides a mesh/tissue-like thong. Then you get painted with this gel-like material and get wrapped in gauze. Then you lie on a bed of saranwrap with a heated space blanket and you sweat out your toxins. You lie there 40 minutes. Seriously it was comfortable for perhaps 10-15 minutes. Then it gets so hot that you feel like you're lying in an oven and baking. It gets so unbelievably uncomfortable. I felt suffocated by the heat and the constricting saran wrap, even though nothing was over my face. It's really too hot to sleep or do anything. So you just stare, wait, and hope to be released from your hot prison.
I left feeling really woozy and lightheaded from the intense heat and all the water loss. I was SO FREAKING THIRSTY and starving. I saw a slight difference around my waist-line, but in the same way where you look skinnier when you wake up in the morning compared to when you sleep at night. COMPLETELY not worth 85$.

Went there after buying a groupon and after my first visit, I ended up buying a full 10 session package.
I interacted only with Marcia, the manager. She is very very nice and knowledgeable. She gave me good service/treatment and great advices. I just loved it!
The place is definitely less "chichi" than most spa/beauty salons in SF, and the area a bit dodgy (but easy street parking), but that is why it is also less expensive than most other places.
Will go again.. :) -

I just read some of the reviews that have been posted lately & I must say that in my experience the management is always very courteous & friendly!
When I get my wraps done they tell me how the wrap is working, and get really specific with details about the clay and where its from etc. I feel like i ran a marathon every time I come out of there.
Yes the wrap is not good if you're claustraphobic but if you aren't then you will really enjoy it! I noticed a different contouring around my bum and my waist was definitely squeezed in a little bit more.

I had an excellent experience getting a Brazilian here. First time - used a Trubate. I had no issue scheduling the appointment and got in within a week of calling.
Genevieve was so professional, the room was quite clean and she had all the tools and sanitary set-up you could ask for (even disposable undies). I felt very comfortable and well taken care of, as she used a variety of techniques to keep the experience as low-pain and quick as possible. She's lovely and personable, to boot!
Definitely a waxing experience I would not mind paying full-price for - she is clearly an experienced and caring professional. Check her out! -

The people here are super nice and do a great job of explaining what the treatments entail and the effects they produce etc. I bought a Groupon for two visits and both times I was treated amazing!! The owner goes above and beyond to meet your needs and she makes sure to understand as best she can what you expect and want.
I suppose though that the treatments are better with ongoing visits to fully give you that desired effect that you're looking for; so unfortunately, I didn't get too much result-wise out of my two visits (I spread them out and did two different things). They have good package deals too, but its still a bit pricey for me with these tough economic times.
I did the Sudatonic- interesting procedure, you're slathered with minerals and then you lay in a "burrito" sleeping bag thing for about 40 mins; this heats up and you sweat out a bunch of toxins! I didn't see any slimming but I'm sure that its great for detoxifying!
Also did the plaster-wrap- this was interesting as well but I saw no effects. The target area is slathered with minerals and then you're wrapped up with moist bandages that harden into a cast-like shell; the idea is that it tightens the area with a few hours of wearing the plaster wrap. The owner helped me with this one and she totally did her best to give me the best treatment possible for what I was hoping to achieve...I'm sure with additional visits I would've gotten some results, but one time is not enough and everyones bodies are different so results vary.
All in all, this place is great!- just don't expect a miracle, theres no shortcut to a good diet and exercise! lol -

I'm obsessed with Groupon and bought the Venus Bodywork deal- $35 for a $85 voucher. I booked a Sudatonic body wrap because I wanted to slim down before my vacation to Maui and the receptionist said this treatment would show immediate results.
The treatment was interesting but definitely not worth the full price. A great deal if you have the Groupon because it's only worth about $35. I didn't see any difference after my treatment but I was famished after sitting in the extremely hot body wrap for 45 min (I think that's how long it was). You will sweat like crazy.
Make sure you use the bathroom before your wrap begins otherwise you're screwed. It's really difficult to get out mid-treatment. -

I've always been fit, healthy and active but, the heccus+dermosonic package has helped a few of my problem areas and made me look and feel amazing! The packages are reasonable and the staff really knows their stuff!

Went with a HomeRun and chose a sudatonic wrap. First, the service is very good and friendly, and Marcia was patient, warm, and made me feel very comfortable. But, I don't think this gets a 4 or 5 star rating due to the ambience (it's not a particularly luxurious place- it looks as basic as a doctor's office) nor did I emerge feeling more relaxed or seeing any effect. I also ended up having to pay extra because the voucher apparently didn't cover the full cost of the sudatonic wrap (which I didn't find out until afterwards).

I've wanted to try endermologie and demasonic for years~~ made popular by the French who pay top dollar to stay chic! However I, like many of you (I'm sure) have searched far and wide for a place that delivers results but without the high price tag that's really only getting you ambiance, and not additional value.
I found Venus on DailyCandy and have been going to them ever since. They're more like a Spa-Clinic, focusing on your needs from both a clinical and a relaxation perspective. Their Endermologie treatments leave my body extremely well sculpted, and I love how I feel afterward, after shedding the water weight. I've gotten to a good place with a combination of Dermosonic+Heccus, Endermologie and some Sudotonic wraps and I'm sure I'll be back for regular maintenance visits.
I knew this place was great when I came in and had an awesome 10 min consultation with Marcia. She, along with the other girls, weren't promising a miracle treatment. They were helpful in getting to understand my body type, and together we came up with a plan that helped to maximize results in addition to diet and exercise.
Caira, Marcia and Genevieve are all amazing and I love working with them. Highly recommended! -

I tried calling the studio looking for a massage and wasn't treated the best. I am asuming this place is for women only.
Being that I am a certified massage therapist who has been employed for over 7 years at Kabuki, I found it strange that they had no interest in trying to book me a massage. I kept asking when the next available appointment was and they were evasive with me.
If it is a place for women only, fine, I can deal with that, but maybe they need to advertise that and not be rude to legitimate male customers. -

If this review were based on SERVICE, it would receive a full 5 stars!! Sandy was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. She even ran down to put coins in my parking meter while I was in my wrap! The place was so clean and chic and I felt at home the entire time.
However, the Sudatonic wrap did nothing for me. I'm 5' 3" and 130 lbs and have excess fat stored around my belly and thigh area that I was hoping to target. The wrap was very relaxing and made me sweat a lot but did nothing in terms of toning or inch loss. Apparently you "burn thousands of calories by laying there in a heat wrap" but c'mon... common sense tells you otherwise. I didn't see any results at all but it was a relaxing experience. -

Nice people, pretty good services somewhat disorganized. Erratic hours so it's very hard to get an appointment because they don't have enough service personnel/hours to accommodate all the deals they run. If you drive there and park before 6pm, parking at meters runs $3 per hour so make sure you have your MUNI meter card with you!

These guys were great! Genieivive (sp?) was wonderful. She was knowledgable, thorough, and approachable. I was unsure how I wanted to spend my daily candy deal, and she actually called me to talk it through. I will definitely go back!

I love Venus Bodywork. I went there and had a body wrap, and it was such a delightful experience.
But what I really want to talk about is Miria. She's the owner of Venus Bodywork, and she has an energy about her that's just what you want to be around. She's genuine, loving, and kind. She's the kind of person that will truly make you feel valued and appreciated.
The body wraps and other services are wonderful, but THAT'S why this place is so popular - because of the LOVE coming out of it. Yummy. -

If you want to finally go to a spa that has a wonderful staff and actually gives you results, Venus Bodyworks is the place to go. You may not get all the ambiance of the higher priced spas (the big lounge area, waterfalls, scented candles and snacks...), but the spa is still a nice, comfortable place to go, you can relax and have tea, and the staff is friendly and honestly out to provide a service and results. Marcia is the best!! I have been working with her for only the past few months on trimming down the waist/ab area and I saw results Immediately doing the Heccus + Endemology/Dermasonic treatments once and now twice a month!! And from the first time I tried the Plaster wrap I saw noticeable results!! I have lost inches around my waist and have firmed up....and this is without adding a diet and exercise regimen to it....so I can only imagine the results I will soon be seeing as I incorporate my diet and exercise. The prices are already resonable ....but I definitely recommend becoming a member...no matter which membership you choose it is definitely worth it!!

I had one of the best facials EVER with Francesca at Venus Bodywork. She is so pleasant, knowledgeable, and gave me really helpful tips to maintain my skin after the facial.
I had signed up for the Oxygenating Trio, but after a brief discussion and a warning that my skin might peel, I went for the basic facial instead. It was fantastic! Francesca had me walk away glowing, and my skin stayed that way for a week after. She also gives the most relaxing head and shoulder massage.
I would recommend Francesca to anyone. I can't wait until my next appointment! -

There are couple things that are critical to me when going to a body salon: clean, knowledgeable staff and comfort with your therapist/ esthetician. Venus Bodywork is all of those things plus at very market affordable price.
Yes, this is a smaller operation from mega corporate salons downtown but I don't need to worry about every changing pricing or busy staff members who can't be bothered to remember my name. When I visit Venus Bodywork the staff and especially the owner always make feel special and my business is important to them. I love them! -

There is something very special about Venus Bodywork. Not only are the machines and techniques used there very unique and different from most other spa offerings, but the whole staff makes your time there invaluable.
Just yesterday I finished my package which included an endermologie session, 3 dermasonic sessions as well as one bodywrap. I definitely saw results! Miria explained each piece of equipment and procedure, never pressured me to purchase anything and treated me with respect and patience. With other treatments I was able to meet more of her staff. They all have a calm and kind nature about them.
I hope to continue being a client there and cannot wait to try all they have to offer! The services, the staff and the prices make Venus Bodywork my favorite place to indulge. -

The ladies at Venus know how to get results! I bought a package of five Dermosonic/Heccus Electroslim treatments in hopes I would see a slight improvement in my crepey, lumpy thighs before going on vacation next month. I must say I was a little skeptical...but desperate...so I signed up. After only TWO treatments I see a REMARKABLE difference in both cellulite reduction and firmer skin texture.
I exercise regularly and eat well and drink gallons of water but still still had lumpy, jiggly thighs. I've used cellulite and slimming creams with minimal results at best and I felt like my legs made me look much older and I was embarassed to wear short skirts, never mind a bikini. The treatments at Venus have just made all the difference. Now I need to find a good tailor to shorten all my skirts...I'm not kidding! And the staff is just wonderful. Very knowledgable and friendly. The spa is clean and serene. Just can't say enough about how great this place is. -

This place does not deserve to be in business. Been trying to make an appointment, called several times and never reached anyone live. Left messages on their voicemail and no one returned my calls. Did their online appointment form, still no response. Totally feel taken for having bought the Groupon vouchers for this place. Will contact credit card company next for my money back.

I went here with a groupon, hoping to find a new spot to regularly get facials. No problem with parking or finding the place. Didn't get Marcia but woman who helped me gave a very mediocre treatment . Knowing I had an $85 groupon coupon, which I carefully mentioned when making the appointment, afterward she blithely announced that she had performed two treatments and the total would be $150. What a transparent attempt to take advantage of what should have been an honest introduction to their business. Groupon buyers beware - and anyone else for that matter.
