Over the past four or five years, I've relied on Sean at Ventura Home Repair for all sorts of home improvement issues - plumbing, wiring, installations, etc. When you call, you'll reach Christy, who is delightful and efficient, and Sean will do the actual work. He is knowledgable, highly skilled, and efficient, and will always have good advice on the smartest way to proceed, should you need his help. And when it comes to costs, the word "reasonable" isn't adequate! You'll always be shown what materials run to, the labor portion always makes sense, and you'll know in advance what to expect - far better than other quotes I'ver received elsewhere.

I texted Ventura Home Repair about a leakage under the bathroom sink. The water kept dripping down even though I have already tightened the nut on the pivot rod. Sean, the owner replied quickly indicated the leak is due to the pop up assembly needed a replacement. He showed up on time, worked neatly and efficiently, and very knowledgeable.

After Seam finished the repair I asked him if he has time to install a new kitchen faucet. He made time to do it. Due to the small cabinet space he had to remove the garbage disposal to make room for the faucet installation. He was patient, detail oriented, honest, and above all reasonable priced.

I am very pleased with his service and so glad I found him. I would highly recommend Sean because he will work an extra mile to keep his customers happy.

Highly recommend. I was having an electrical issue in the bathroom. Luckily Sean was able to see me quickly! So thankful too!! He knows what he's doing!! He has a pleasant and professional demeanor. He's also honest and the prices are reasonable. He worked efficiently and answered all my questions. Going forward Sean will be the first person I call when I need a quality handyman.

He was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Sean did a great job with all repairs and I will be sure to use him again.

Really great service!! I contacted Ventura Home repair via yelp to fix a broken closet rack. Christy contacted me shortly and was able to set me an appointment that worked best for my very complicated schedule. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to meet Sean but he fixed my closet just fine and the price was terrific. I will definitely contact for future minor jobs needed !

I have just moved into a new place, and Sean helped make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible! There were a few things that needed fixing, and he did pretty much everything from installing new toilets, fixing broken shower handles, paint touch-ups, re-keying a few doors, etc. and even picked up the items, as I was not able to take off work and do so myself. He was thorough and honest about what needed to be done and followed through with quality work and quality products to ensure that I won't be having any problems/expenses for a while.
