Today Friday March 29th 2024 we had an appointment to have their Mobil unit to come to our house at 11:30 am. To our amazement Amanda Card the groomer showed up 5 minutes early. I've used velvet Bow for 4 years now and though they have been very good at grooming our girl Bella this time was absolutely fantastic!! She introduced herself very pleasantly as we've alway's had different people groom Bella from Velvet Bow. She asked us what we were hoping for and I explained that even though Bella had some matting I'd like to have her cut be one inch in length and her nail's cut. The last woman we had shaved her down completely and my husband wasn't too happy about it. I also wanted her face to have a cute cut too. When Bella walked into the house after she was done I was blown away at how incredibly cute she looked. It was the best cut my Bella ever had!! Bella is a golden doodle that's 4 years old and Amanda Card gave her a puppy cut! She looked SO FREAKING CUTE!! I'm still over the moon every time I look at my girl. If you want exactly what you ask for and Amanda say's ok, then that what you'll get and you will not be disappointed! I hope and pray Amanda stay's at the Velvet Bow because she's the woman I'll be asking for every single time Bella needs grooming. Thank you Amanda Card. You're amazing at your craft. Oh, and one more thing..Amanda put pink bows on each ear. That was the icing on the cake

First of all I'm not sure how anyone can leave a bad review of this place. The owner Vicky is wonderful!
I have an elderly dog who is extremely d to work with and she has sent the best groomers I and my dogs have ever experienced.
I have worked with three of Vikki's groomers, and everyone of them was absolutely wonderful.
Vikki's staff respects her because she is a wonderful person who knows how to run a professional business.

Velvet Bow Dog Groomers purposely put A LOT fragrance all over my dog when I informed them repeatedly that I have asthma and that fragrance can literally kill me. They also chopped my dogs hair off and denied cutting it, blaming it on the previous Groomers. The owner was trying to gas light me, and everything I said, she claimed to be victimized. The owner denied it, but I do not lie or make things up! I had an asthma attack!, my dog had to be washed (twice) to get the fragrance out, and my dogs hair is butchered.

Susie WE DID NOT put any fragrance on your dog. We used a unscented no dyes natural shampoo we always do. And I even offered to rebathe her personally because for you and that I was concerned for your health and refunded your money because you weren't satisfied. As far as cutting it was just a bath today and I overlooked the whole because your regular groomer wasn't there. The haircut in mention wasn't even done at our shop so no I'm not going to take responsibility for that. We would of never shaved your dog and always brushed Charlie out even as challenging as it was. And I never felt I was victimized but my reputation was being put down. You kept saying if anyone knows you you're a nice person and never would harm anyone. And I just simply explained the same for me. We love our customers pets as if they were our own. I give back to the rescue community with probono grooming. I even offered a discount to use our mobile service so Charlie could have a one on one experience with her regular groomer that you love. So I am hurt that you would try to say this about me "Velvet Bow". We even did curb service because of your condition. We respected all your wishes but I'm sorry and I wish you the best of luck with another groomer.

Good with the puppies. Lots of employees so getting an appointment is easy to get and they did a great job with an active Cavi Pup. Did you know you can walk in for toe nail clips? Awesome!!!

-had my dog groomed here on 10/1
-made my next appt for 4 weeks later on 10/29
-they called the morning of 10/29 to say they had to cancel
-rescheduled me for 11/10 @ 10am
-dropped off my pup @ 9:50am
-called to ask for an update @ 12:30pm (2.5 hours into appointment)
-told to come in 45 min
-arrived 1 hour later and was told it will be 30 more min (4 hours after my appointment start time)

I do understand. I am also disappointed that my groomer didn't watch her time accordingly. She is a meticulous groomer and gets lost in perfection. The groom was still within our boundaries of 3-4 hrs that we ask for but it was communicated that she would be done in 45 mins and wasn't. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Let me know if there's anything I can compensate you for your time. Vikki.

Something has changed here...for the worse. It's great that they're very busy, but things have gotten sloppy.
I brought my dog in for a grooming at 8:30a. I called at 12:30 to check on him. They said "we're just finishing up, he'll be ready in 15 minutes". So I drove over to find they hadn't even started. My nervous dog had been a cage for 5 hours.
I came back an hour later. My dog's fur looked choppy, clearly a rush job. He was wearing the wrong collar and leash. And they had the nerve to charge $75. It used to be $60.

Consistently friendly, greet you upon arrival, and you can tell they love the animals. Service is professional and quick. Entryway is clean.

When I took my fur kids to Velvet Bow for the first time I was hooked! They care about your babies! They take the time to get to know you & your fur kids. They work with your kids to make them feel comfortable. My babies look amazing when I pick them up. They have a positive family feel to their business. It's very warm & welcoming. I told my Mom about them & she took her older dog who's blind & has dementia. She went to pick him up & one of the ladies was holding him to ensure he felt comfortable. She was beyond ecstatic by how he looked & how they took care of him. If you haven't taken your babies here for their spa day, I highly recommend you do! You will be happy you made that choice!

They canceled our first appointment due to staffing issues so we made a new appointment but they never showed up nor did they call.
