I live in the SF Bay Area, but I visit my family in Ohio a couple times a year. I'm always stoked to try new (to me) restaurants here. There are many gems. Vegiterranean is definitely one of them. The food was great, the service was perfect (ask for Rob! I hope that was his name..). Oh - the desserts! Be sure to try the key lime napoleon (yes, that whipped cream is *vegan*) - you won't be sorry. And, I must say, the Chrissie Fries are definitely some of the best I've ever tasted..they are up there with the Lola fries I had two nights earlier.
We enjoyed all this to great tunes, too. How about a little New Order with your vegan chocolate bread pudding? Hell yeah!

Fantastic vegan fare in a totally hip place. This is where cool kids, now all grown up, can hang out and feel culturally relevant. It's in a odd location - high end condos for sale above the restaurant - but parking is free and plentiful and what the hell, there's not much else in Akron, and certainly nothing cooler. The place is decorated with photos of famous vegetarians and the music is awesome. I had lunch here, alone on a raining Friday, and I will certainly go back when I return to the area. Well worth the drive from Columbus (and Columbus has great options for the vegetarian). My tomato soup and chick'n ceasar salad were both amazing. I love vegan food!
I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing. For such a posh place I expected it to be more costly. The food was very tasty. I was sceptical of the blandness of vegi food, but they did an excellent job with flavoring. The attmosphere is modern and sleek with a view of the valley. Only negative is that it felt a bit too sterile, maybe the super modern decor.
