Best facial of my life!
This is a super cute day spa inside an adorable Victorian house. You can wait outside on the back porch and get some fresh air before your treatment. There is a hydro massage table that my bf used while waiting for me (his treatment finished before mine). The staff is welcoming.
The treatment room is well set up with a sink in room and plenty of mirrors. The table was so comfy and plush with blankets. There is a heating pad and a bolster for your knees.
Kimberly did the Pamper Plus Facial on me. She has a gentle touch. I didn't even wince during the extractions. She applied a grapefruit mask and used the Day 25 moisturizer (yummy smelling papaya). The photo therapy took some getting used to. Imagine a super bright light on your face for a few minutes. The results are well worth it. My skin was glowing afterwards and looked better still after a few days.
They gave me a sample of Day 25-- a combo of moisturizer, papaya extract for exfoliation, and SPF 25. It's for daily use. It leaves your skin dewy and not greasy. It's only been a few days so we'll see if this is a must buy. I also liked the cleanser used during the facial.
If you love facials, definitely go here. I will be back!Listed in: Pampered Lady

Kim Avery = awesomeness. Had my first massage with her yesterday.
* Excellent pressure in massage. Usually I want to scream at them, "HARDER DAMMIT!" but Kim had this ish DOWN!
* Very knowledgeable, took the time to explain stretches, etc that would help me
* Tons of experience in massage therapy! Her Dad is a massage therapist as well!
* Uses hot towels with a little liniment after she finishes each area so you don't leave feeling like a grease ball yet your muscles keep that "just worked on" feeling
* The massage creams they use are all made in-house! None of that questionable store crap!
* Kim as a person was just super cool. I made her chat w/me during the whole massage and she just seems like good people. -

I got a facial with Holly.
she was very nice and knew her way around an acne prone face.
it was a very thorough facial with the works.
i was comfortable and the atmosphere lets you drift away.
I'd definitely go again.
this was in my top 3 as far as facials go.
it's pricey but you're paying for quality. i don't find moderately priced spas in SD so this may be considered "moderate" for San Diegans
Important note: tip must be in cash or check. they won't charge a CC for tip. it's kinda weird but that's how it is. -

Vasseur was recommended to by a co- worker of mine. Apparently two of our mutual friends go there as well. I thought this place must be good and gave it a try. Vasseur is nestled in between banker's hill and downtown in a small, cozy cottage. A little tough to find at first. People were very nice and pleasant. Kim did my facial. She was very thorough and professional. I really enjoyed the mini massages during my facial as well. I have adult acne and looks like it's on the way to recovery with more TLC from Vasseur.

Ok, so this review is long over done. I found this place from my fellow yelp friends, and I thank you implicitly. Holly is amazing, but I gather after visiting there a few times, that it is the place in its entirety that makes it what it is. My skin receives compliments every where I go. I notice it myself. Their product line is phenomenal, and I encourage anyone who has been a rolling victim to a dermatologist to hit them up. Their acne clinic is such a deal, and I believe I have finally found people who want me to look my best.

This place is by far AMAZING!!! I have been an active customer here since May 2009. I have not had a single bad experience. I have also recommended this place to friends and they have loved it as well. The staff offers a 5 star customer service, the treatments are great and the pricing is reasonable. This is a place that is truly at the top of my list. Dale is amazing and so are the girls :))

Vasseur is named after the owner Melanie, who makes the natural products in fresh, small quantites. I recommend the Day 25 SPF/day cream. If you're nice Michael can tint it for you and it is the b-o-m-b! Michael is the divine hottie at the front desk who is always so kind and upbeat when you walk in the door. Breath of fresh air. Holly is a Portugese goddess and THE go to girl for your facials. She gives amazing facials and Vasseur is equipped with every possible gadget to help get your skin in shape. My skin looks so much better since I started going to her every month. The decor and vibe is antique, classy and comfortable. I vote for Vasseur Day Spa for facials, micro, photo-facials and laser hair removal.

Me and a friend went during spa week and the ladies were very nice and my service was sufficient.The spa itself is located in a victorian style home in the bankers hill area. Its very cute probably on the smaller side though. My estetician was very nice but I wish she gave me more info about what she was using on me during the process instead of after in a all out sales pitch. After I was dones with my service my skin looked ok I would not say glowing though. So as we got ready to leave they did not miss the chance to do the hard sale.I understand the products are natural and hand made but the price points were a little bit high considering the competitive beauty market that is out there. I hate when your This is what really bothers me about going in for a nice relaxing spa servictrying to check out and they almost act like your obligated to buy there products... .This makes me not want to return....If you have done your job I will ask you about the products..

i love the foaming cleanser the night cream is amazing and the benzo crean will clear any break out up right away.
