Excellent experience with the Vans Skate Park located in The Block.

Pros: Perfect set-up, great clothing variety, and friendly staff.

Cons: Horrible bathrooms

1 suggestion: add some music!!

I love this Vans!   They have many different pairs of shoes for both women and men.  Their clothing selection is fairly decent, but better yet they have a fully functional skate park.   Their staff is usually pretty friendly and can help you out.  I had two boards built at this place, they do a good job and make sure everything is in working order.   Come during the weekdays if you want to skate in the park, since the weekends or holiday season is packed with kids.   They also offer skateboard lessons which are pretty fun if you want to try it out.

This place is huge and hopefully this place stays open for the kids.
Where else are they supposed to skate without getting harrassed by the cops.  Can't blame them cause it's a law.  But you can blame the people makin the laws.

Don't forget to support Tony Hawk Foundation when you can otherwise there will not be any places to skate.

Also, remember before the Vans Store for what they have contributed to the Skater lifestyle.  Before them there weren't any parks likes this, so support these guys.

Just a little suggestion from an old time skater like me.  Still stylin the battle scars if you want proof.
