I just wanted to be the 29th person to sat something wonderful about Bryce and Vanda Floral! I hoped to send a bouquet to my grandma that included an obscure flower (a beehive ginger) not shown on Vanda's fabulous website. Bryce knew what flower I was looking for and offered to put together something within my price range. I wish all florists were this helpful!

We went with Vanda for our wedding flowers because after our first meeting with Bryce, we were so impressed with his easy-going yet professional style. He was so easy to work with, and with such competitive prices, I was amazed when the flowers arrived to the wedding venue. He was even willing to use bicycle planters I found for the centerpieces, and they turned out just as I had hoped and envisioned. Thank you to Bryce and his team for a great experience and beautiful flowers!

Vanda floral is my go to shop for flowers .... I often run last minute..... And vanda consitantly comes through with amazing arraignments at quite the value! Thank you Bryce and team for the amazing service!

Bryce created beautiful bouquets, corsages and boutineers for my wedding. He really took into consideration my colors and suggestions. The dahlias he used were absolutely PERFECT. I could not have asked for better flowers for my wedding. The price was under our initial budget, and Bryce was so easy to work with.

We were referred to Vanda Floral by Preferred Sonoma Caterers for our reception and wedding last August. Although we never met in person, Bryce was phenomenal to work with. Accomodating and really willing to work with a client, Bryce completely understood where flowers fell into our budget and worked with us accordingly.
I couldn't have been happier with the results and really have to hand it to them for making our simple floral requests absolutely perfect for our special day. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering them as a florist for their wedding! -

I cannot say enough good things about Bryce and Vanda Floral. I recommend them for any event, especially weddings, without reservation! Bryce worked with me throughout the year before the wedding; he was incredibly responsive to any pictures and ideas I sent him, and he made changes promptly and affordably. We weren't a huge fan of most of the wedding arbors or arches we'd seen, so we described what we had in mind to him; he AMAZINGLY built us a gorgeous birch arbor (which you now can rent from him!) that was a dream come true - it framed the vineyard behind us perfectly. I wanted to do some of the flowers myself, and he was totally willing to actually give me some advice on arrangements and tell me what type of flowers would be in season at the time of my wedding.
On the day of the wedding, the delivery was prompt and efficient. I'm having trouble finding words to describe how beautiful the bouquets were - they were made from exactly the kind of vibrant, local flowers I had described, and were so elegant. My husband LOVED his calla lily boutonniere - he called it a "manly" flower. Another bouquet and another impressive experience. Vanda delivers in more ways than one.
After my last large bouquet, my wife suggested that it was a bit rude to spring a large order on a florist without adequate notice. Regardless, that last bouquet was stunning.
This time, I took her advice and gave them a little notice. My bouquet was timed with a coming trip to the flower market. On the day of delivery, I called to check in and Brice informed me that the bouquet was just about ready but they're waiting on a some nice Gerbera Daisy's to arrive. This told me that they were serious about doing this right and not rushing something out the door.
Brice showed up about an hour later with a draw dropping bouquet. Everyone who has seen this bouquet has stared in awe as they circle it for several minutes. To top it off, each of these bouquets have lasted for well over a week. Amazing.
I think it's hard to find service and value that exceeds every penny spent. Vanda somehow manages to make that happen every time.1 Previous Review: Show all »

We used Vanda for our wedding. One of the things we learned about wedding vendors is that many are not responsive to emails or phone calls when you have a question. The staff at Vanda were the most responsive of all our Vendors. They are really professional, which puts them miles ahead of a lot of vendors out there.
And the flowers were great. They were exactly what we wanted and Vanda's staff was in and out of there on our wedding day. If you are getting married in the North Bay, you really should consider these guys. -

VANDA FLORAL SAVED MY WEDDING!!!! I was about 60 days away from my wedding date when the florist I had planned on using canceled on me. I contacted Vanda Floral on a whim and luckily Bryce, the owner, answered the phone. He was so sympathetic and agreed to meet right away.
My mom and I met with Bryce the next day. We were already quite stressed because of the previous florist canceling on me. But Bryce listened, showed us lots of examples and gave us some great ideas/ suggestions for the flowers for my wedding. He was able to come up with a variety of flower/ greenery suggestions that we hadn't considered, but that helped to keep the price down and still make everything look beautiful. Bryce was also able to give us some wonderful suggestions and pricing for a floral/ greenery garland to use on the arbor at our ceremony. We were even able to re-use this as the arrangement on the head table. He worked within the budget I had, even giving us the option to do the floral centerpiece arrangements ourselves. We left there feeling much better about the whole situation!
I received a quote within days from Bryce. He answered all of our questions quickly over email and even changed the quote to reflect some changes that we made. We decided against doing the centerpiece arrangements ourselves and had Vanda Floral do them for us. This was the BEST decision EVER!!
The flowers were perfect. The were beautiful, fresh, and artfully arranged. The bridal bouquets were wonderful and looked exactly like I imagined they would! All of our wedding guests were so impressed! We received so many wonderful compliments!
I am so HAPPY that I went with Vanda Floral for the florist for my wedding. There was no stress, the flowers bouquets/ arrangements were beautiful and everything went flawlessly!! I would recommend Vanda Floral to anyone. And I plan on using them in the future for all of my future floral needs! :) -

Bryce at Vanda Floral is amazing. It was only 2 months prior to my wedding before I began to think about flowers! He met with my mother and I very soon after I initially contacted him. I thumbed through a ton of his flower photo albums, he asked what I liked, I showed him a few pictures and I placed all my trust in him. After all he is the artistic professional here, not me. Not only did he show exemplary service and professionalism, he offered ideas since I was very unsure of what I liked or what I wanted. Bryce was quick to return phone calls and emails. I dropped off the face of the earth for about 3 weeks after he had sent me an estimate. I then called to see if it was too late to finalize my order he said, "Of course not." The day before my wedding I decided I wanted a gardenia in my hair; Bryce made this a reality. The day of my wedding 5/28/11 my MOH was at Bryces' wear house picking up the flowers at 7:30AM sharp. I couldn't have been more delighted with the results! My bridal party looked so sharp with their bouquets and boutonnieres and my white bouquet was just what I had dreamed it would be! 5 stars for a 5 star job. Thanks!

Bryce was very nice, flexible about our tiny wedding needs, and my bouquet was great. He dropped the ball on the rest of the flowers, but did his best to make it up to me. If you are like me-- not used to organizing events with a professional florist-- make sure you get the quote right away and everything is Verbatim how you want it. He was busy and waited 3 weeks to get me the quote, which may have been why he forgot a bunch of stuff that we'd talked about, but the quote was so vague I didn't notice and found out on the wedding day.

I enjoy supporting my local businesses so I have used Vanda Floral design for various little occasions. The owner Bryce is very nice and always helpful. The flowers are always beautiful, fresh and last for a long time. We had some beautiful flower lei's made for my sister when she graduated. I ordered flowers from them to decorate my mother's 50th birthday party and received several compliments. Most recently I attended the wedding of some very good friends who had all their floral arrangements done by Vanda and it was so beautiful. I always do and always will feel confident using and recommending Vanda for all floral needs.

I have been using Vanda Floral Design for several years now. I always get flowers there for Valentines day and Mothers Day. They always have the nicest arrangements and are happy to deliver them locally. As well I had to send a bouquet to Florida and the owner Bryce was happy to help. I've attended several weddings where they have been the florist and would recommend them for your next event. With a friendly staff and some amazing flowers, using Vanda is a no brainer for me.

Bryce did the flowers for our wedding at Hans Fahden in Calistoga and did a beautiful job! We left the creative license to him, (with some guidance as to the style we liked), and he came up with really gorgeous bouquets. He also worked with us to put together a package that fit our budget! Very happy with everything, especially after dealing with many other florist estimates that completely ignored the budget that we established.

Vanda has provided me with great service and beautiful flowers since they opened. I often send flowers locally and they provide the best prices not only in Petaluma, but the entire bay area. The arrangements are not only light up the room, but last forever!!! I recently sent flowers to a friend in Southern California and they were happy to contact a florist in Orange County and take care of the order for me!! They are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. I highly recommend Vanda for not only your local, but anytime you need to send flowers to someone special. I have been to about 4 weddings this year in which Vanda has done the flowers. Each and every time they are full of color and smell amazing! We used Vanda Floral Design for our wedding. Bryce, the owner, was great to work with. We ordered flowers from him three days before the wedding. His staff did such a great job putting the bouquets together, and they look just like how I always imagined my wedding flowers to look like. I really appreciate them willing to work with me last minute. We had a small budget, and Vanda Floral Design definitely gave us a lot more than what we expected.

Vanda just did the flowers for my wedding, and they really did an exceptional job at a very reasonable price. Bryce provided a creative solution for non-traditional centerpieces and provided truly beautiful arrangements for the arbor and other tables. We used Vanda for our wedding and everything was absolutely perfect! Honestly, I've never seen such beautiful flowers!!! Bryce, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process, from our first meeting to the wedding day itself. We chose some arrangements from his portfolio, and brainstormed ideas with Bryce for the rest. He was great about working with our budget, and very flexible with last minute changes, including "repurposing" flowers when some last minute guest cancellations resulted in fewer table centerpieces needed. Bryce and his staff also agreed to arrive extra early to finish decorating the ceremony venue for our pre-ceremony portrait session, and then agreed to stay through the end of the ceremony to save us the trouble of dismantling and returning the huppah we'd rented from them. Best of all, I realized when we saw the photos that before leaving, they apparently moved the ceremony flowers to dress up our cake table at the reception! I may be biased since it was my own wedding, but several guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to, and everyone who could took table centerpieces home with them. Even the bridesmaids and flower girls who were flying home afterwards kept their bouquets too. I can't recommend Vanda enough!!!

Look no further, Bryce has never let me down. I love his designs and the fact that he is willing to work with my funny requests. I love this store so much I have taken in my own vases for arrangements. They have even re-potted orchids for me :) Couldn't be more helpful.
