Value Village
1 review for Value Village
This location of Value Village is the best one to go to for clothes, shoes, the like. There is a really large selection and a lot of stylish stuff. This one has the best winter coat selection as well as dress clothes for men.
Everytime I have walked in here looking for something specific, I have found it.
The locked glass case by the entrance usually holds some really cool items, once it had a large clear model of the body/skeleton and that is where I found an old Voltron costume.
The houseware selection is "OK", it's pretty hit or miss. Sometimes there is a neat kitchen something, or a piece of furniture, but I prefer to look for furniture on curbs, the Salvation Army and the 4th Street Value Village.
I don't know if they do this on purpose, but the kids' shit is off towards the cash registers, so you can avoid the lil' ones pretty easily.
Different days are different 1/2 offs, and I am pretty sure it is the same formula across all the Value Villages. I believe M, W, F is for clothing/shoes/accessorites and T, Th is for electronics, housewares, books, music, etc. Saturday everything is half off.
Bring plenty of cash. I don't think they take checks anymore [ever?] and while I swear one lane is sometimes open that will take a debit card, that could be a complete falsehood, or just a discontinued option.
