Vals Salon is nestled in a quaint section of Chula Vista. Ample street and metered parking, and a lot behind it make parking pretty easy. I found a spot right away! Just keep an eye on street signs and meters, a lot of the area is 2 hour parking until 6pm.
Don't let the simplicity of this salon fool you, Alex is a genius. I was able to make a last minute appointment through a friend, and arrived and was greeted and welcomed. A cut includes a shampoo, cut, blow dry, and style.
Did I mention he's magical? He could tell right away I cut my own bangs, color my own hair, and that my last "cut" involved razoring all of which I was forbidden to do ever again. He even knew how along ago my last haircut had been, based on my current length and damage.
I'm thrilled with my new style and the affordable prices!!
