This motel is in Townsend, TN, conveniently located close to the Little River and Cades Cove.

Our room could have used a good cleaning.  Over a 4-night stay, my husband must have killed a good 15 flies.   There was mildew in the shower and on the shower curtain.  The woodburning fireplace is a nice touch, but even though we didn't use it a single time, the whole room smelled of smoke (including the shower curtain).  When I did a once-over of the room when we were checking out to make sure we didn't leave anything behind, I looked under the bed and there was so much dirt, crumbs and dust.  I don't think the floor has ever seen a vacuum cleaner.  Ugh.

The hotel is located in the quiet town of Townsend, which is the only plus that I can think of.

Meanwhile, I'm going to go wash my hair.  It - and all of my clothes -still smell like the fireplace!
