"I'm honestly REALLY italian and high maintenance and hot. The gorgeous leather furniture at I.D. Home is NOT really italian and is hot…" read more »
When I moved out of my studio into a "big-boy" apartment I really didn't have tons of furniture, particularly a bedroom set. I also didn't have tons of money, but a friend recommended Valencia interiors and since I really liked her stuff I checked it out.
They have a great selection and I got a really beautiful bedroom set, including a mattress and also a desk. Five years later I still have all these things and they are great. I will be honest, and this isn't uber high-quality stuff, but it isn't IKEA either. For the price, selection and service they get five stars.

Purchasing furniture from Valencia Interiors was a very good experience. When I visited, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I called back later that day to purchase over the phone, and Ingrid helped me throughout the rest of my transaction. She has excellent customer service skills, returned my calls promptly, and even helped my friend move the furniture when he came to pick it up for me.
I wouldn't say I love everything in the store, but I feel lucky to have found three beautiful, unique pieces and was able to have them in my home the next day. I have to take one star off though, because for some reason they prefer to contract with another company for their delivery who has INSANE prices. They wanted $180 to deliver to Palo Alto. I realize it's not in SF and is an extra 30 minutes on the freeway, but that is beyond ridiculous.
Gosh, I sure do with I could afford to live like an adult with adult furniture and adult paychecks. But I can't. UNTIL NOW!
Reasonably priced, hip looking furniture worthy of the trendy Mission Street location they call home...and not one bean bag chair in the lot. Impressive.
(Does anyone want a Z Gallery bean bag chair? Cheap?)
Valencia Interiors has saved me from my 1980's Z Gallery furniture! I am now a full-fledged, mature adult with lots and lots of grown-up creds! WOO!
Yeah, I say "WOO" a lot. You can take that "mature" part out.

If you haven't bought anything here, you shouldn't be giving poor reviews.
Good quality furniture at decent prices. Far superior to Ikea and priced way less then most other furniture stores in this city. Delivery needs to be improved. I was charged $60 for two guys to leave the dresser I bought still crated upside down in my apartment.

I love this store what a great find full of great deals downstairs which you can take home that day.....i got a beutiful bedroom set from where i jst love and a couple rugs....
good selection and turn over no need to wait tooo long which is so handy
We love this place. We went there initially because they run a storage operation in hunter's point, and I store my bikes with them. Their furniture selection is nice. Better quality than the overpriced garbage sold in SOMA, at reasonable prices. We're thinking of buying a bedroom set there this summer.
In good conscience, I cannot write a quick review about this place, without mentioning the staff. Beautiful Irish girls, with sexy accents. They're extremely helpful, and cheerful as well!

Beautiful Furniture at REALLY REALLLY Low Prices ..... plus they have this huge basement area allocated for discounted furinture....all still in great condition and brand new!!!
Even sofa's are off the floor down here.....
I love the sterling park and hapton library...got a few pieces think ill go back for the canopy bed i spotted only 399!!!
Look ma, adult furniture! Still own that bed you been cartin' around since undergrad, that IKEA desk and dresser you picked up while getting your masters, that old couch from the street because it had character, then you my friend need to step on over to VI. Decent, solid looking furniture, that won't break the bank, and that lets the women folk know, "he has grown up, no more college boy in him." You need to hightail your ass to Valencia Interiors and get some of this stuff.

My first reaction was "shit! I shouldn't have purchased that desk at IKEA." Good quality, attractive furniture.

Cool place. Nice Irish staff. I think they are owned by ZBarn too which I love. Good turn around
i've never purchased anything from valencia interiors, but i've been in the store more times than i can count/remember, browsing, getting ideas, coming close to purchasing. from what i can tell the prices are fair for what you get. i've noticed the wood top laminate coming loose on a couple of things. i give this place 2 stars because in all the many, many times i've been in the store, i can't recall even one time when staff has acknowledged me or whomever i am shopping with. not once! they are stuck behind their computers, obviously posting ads on craigslist (anyone ever notice the post under the furniture site?). i don't need a lot of attention, but it would be nice to be asked, at least one, if i had a question. it's been years since i worked retail, i know things haven't changed that much! for that reason, i don't think i would buy from valencia interiors.
