This is a good hotel if you plan on visiting six flags since it is less than a mile away.
As typical with hilton garden inn, this was a clean property with comfortable clean rooms.
The staff was friendly.
The buffet breakfast was a notch better than at other hilton garden inns.
Overall, this is a decent property to stay at if you plan on visiting six flags or the Valencia area.

like david f, we paid $60/night (thru priceline). we were scared we'd end up in a room with lots of foot traffic or a room that was teeny tiny, nope. our room was pretty big and very quiet.
we got in late, the front desk was very nice and even gave us cookies! free internet, close to magic mtn (which is why we were there) and a breakfast buffet for $12 (pretty good, too).

we have season passes to MM, so we'll be staying here all season long :)

We paid 120 a night. The first night we stayed we noticed that our bed was uncomfortable. My husband and I noticed a big lump in the center of our bed, so we thought maybe its just us. The next night we thought we should ask if our bed was adjustable and the front desk person said NO we do not have those kinds of beds here. The next day at checkout we brought the issue up again and the manger informed us that the bed was adjustable. She offered us 20 dollars off. They get two stars only because we made the best of it other wise the manger hottaff gets 0 stars for crapy service

I only spent $60 on priceline...but the joint has some problems...not that it's bad but one would expect to have a restaurant and bar open after 10 pm...
it's also confusing how to approach the hotel with the roadwork going on around it....there's a lane through the road work on Old Road but when you get close to the other side of the road there's a very confusing one way sign that apparently doesn't apply...so you go ahead and take a right on it to get to the parking lot.
My own fault at night I drove right by it and confused the directions from mapquest so went way off course to the north on old road but the hotel isn't very visible from the road at night...
I got the Hyatt....a few miles to the east for $65 on priceline and it is vastly better....not that this Hilton is bad but the Hyatt is Luxurious and the bar restaurant is superb there

okay i give this place two stars only because the first night we didn't have a problem ...... I traveled to so many place and stay in so many hotels cheap ones ,nice ones never did i have something like this happen to me. So after Magic Mountain i thought my legs would just fall off exhausted all i wanted to do was pass out and half way into my sleep i felt something crawl on my head so i touched my head a felt something round i grabbed it and threw it on the floor and started screaming so my friends turned on the lights and saw this fat brown roach looking thing and killed it with a shoe.....after that who could sleep so they changed our room and everyone slept with towels around their heads and the lights on. next morning the front desk took one night off the bill but she said she had to confirm it with housekeeping .....i wonder if i should of saved it in a glass for her .Gross but other than that i guess it was okay ....we will never stay there again that is for sure

I am a little biased as I really like staying at any Hilton Garden Inn. They are especially family friendly which is my biggest must-have! This location at Six Flags is no different. Spacious and spotless rooms, comfy beds and a large enough mini-fridge to hold your snacks. Parking is ample and this hotel is just adjacent to Marie Callendar's! They also offer room service so if you're too tired from all that walking uphill at Six Flags, than you can dine in your room! The food isn't outstanding, but it is satisfying enough.

For me it is the ideal hotel chain for family and business.

For over $250 a night, it's not unreasonable to excpect SOME service! Especially given their location; Valencia is not exactly Carmel....
No valet at the front, and nobody to help you with luggage at the lobby. There are only two floors to this hotel, and the property is very spread out. This means that you have a long march to your room; if you have a lot of lugagge that can be a nightmare. In addition there are no elevators close by, and only ONE elevator in the entire property. Took forever to get to the room, but at least it was clean and the A/C was on. This didn't last for long however. At about 2am, the A/C unit just stopped working; apparently there was an ice buildup problem that nobody bothered to check or repair. The food was horrific. I've never bit into a spring roll before and gotten a drink of vegetable oil out of it.... the chicken fingers tasted like frozen cardboard.... good luck complaining to the kitchen.
