Not sooooo bad. Its close to mostly everything in Costa Mesa. (1 star)
The biggest con is that there is a highway very very close. The rooms are a bit rundown (carpet, bathroom, etc) but sleep-able.
The front desk people are nice and sweet, but there is a language barrier, so it can be very hard trying to explain what you need or asking for directions.
Ohhh, complimentary coffee, juice and danishes every morning by the front office (1 star)!
For the price, you can add a few more bucks and stay at a nicer actual hotel.

This has to be one of the worst sub-70 dollar motels I have ever stayed in. It is definitely the smallest.
My chief complaints are; small crack on the bottom of the door (I don't like people playing peekaboo on me); cable TV? I would not have noticed. Most of the channels were kinda fuzzy. The shower head was looking pretty dingy and the spray and pulsating stream didn't work. The pillows were too flat and when I stacked 2 of them, it was too high. I could have been better off sleeping on the floor. zzzzzzz I had a late start Saturday morning, so I asked the maid who was cleaning the room next to me if she or someone else can come back to my room in about an hour and a half (after I leave) for room service. I think language was an issue in communicating my request so I'm not mad at the person, just upset at the situation because in addition to the conversation with the maid, I also put the sign on the door indicating that the room needs to be serviced as soon as possible. Much to my dismay when I got back that night, the room was as I left it. I could have called the lobby to complain, but me being a virgo, I went into analytical mode and looking at it from a profit to grief perspective, I decided, screw calling the manager I'll just jump in the shower and sleep in the same sheets.
