In the interest of full disclosure, this is the condominium complex where I live full time. We are extremely lucky to live in such a beautiful place, and love to share it with everyone who visits.
Vacations by the Sea is the rental arm of Westport by the Sea, a 192-unit condo complex that is literally steps to the beach in Westport. It is a great place to spend a week during the summer. You can walk to surfing, clamming, and beachcombing. The prices range from pretty inexpensive $159/night to pretty spendy $350+/night, depending on the season, week vs. weekend, and where you are on the property. Buildings 1 - 8 have a dead on ocean view (upstairs) or open up to the ocean (downstairs) so they tend to rent for a lot more.
This complex is very pet friendly and family friendly. If you have dogs, you can bring them, but there is an extra pet fee. I have a friend that brings her silky terrier and daschund down several times a summer and the dogs love to run on the beach.
There is a swimming pool, hot tub, a playground, putting green, playing fields, and sport court, so lots of activities for the kids. Most of the units have board games for those rainy days, as well.
I can go on and on and on about why Westport is wonderful, but I won't here, but just say that Westport by the Sea/Vacations by the Sea is definitely the nicest property in town. It's also a good value when you consider that the one bedrooms can sleep up to 4 and the 2 bedrooms sleep 6. So if you were coming down and planned to rent 2 motel rooms, you can rent one of these condos for the equal or less than 2 motel rooms.
Each condo comes fully furnished with linens, toiletries, basic kitchen supplies and a fully stocked kitchen (appliances, pots, pans, flatwear, table settings, etc.) So if you decide not to eat out or want to fix a picnic for lunch, you have a full kitchen to work from.
At night, you can walk out to the beach for a small campfire and smores, and be back in your warm condo within 5 minutes.
Whether its summer and you're enjoying the clear skies and breeze, or its winter and you are watching the ocean in all its fury, there is truly no where else like this on earth. Try it!
This is a small condominium complex right on the beach. According to the manager, about half the condos are used by their owners, and half are rented out to vacationers. We rented a 2 bedroom condo (#833) with an amazing view of the pacific ocean. I mean, it has a dead on view and you can see for miles. I didn't even realize there was a beach this nice in Washington. It was just amazing. The condo can sleep 6, although it was just me and my boyfriend. A full kitchen, and 2 bathrooms make this a great deal. There is a very well cared for clubhouse with a hot tub and swimming pool (closed during the winter). We were here last weekend for the clam dig, and it was 50's and rainy one day, and then 60's and sunny the next. Both days had amazing views. It is a short walk (400 feet) to the shore and its like having your own private beach.
Westport has come a long way. We ate dinner at the Half Moon Bay Bar and Grill on the marina, and it was just as great as any Seattle restaurant. I will never drive all the way to Cannon Beach again.
This is the nicest place in Westport and it's right on the beach (not to mention just over two hours from Seattle). They have a pool, hot tub and fitness gym -- and several grills for BBQing. The best part for me is that they have pet-friendly units, since I have two little dogs and now I don't have to board them (and they love the beach too). The units are clean, you have all your regular appliances/kitchen stuff, and I love the jacuzzi tub in the master bath that most hotels don't even have. I won't stay anywhere else in Westport.

Westport by the Sea, where Vacations by the Sea is located, is a 192 unit ocean front condominium complex with a recreation facility including a seasonal pool, year round hot tub, fitness room with the latest cardio equipment, sport courts, playground, grassy play-field, outdoor barbecues, and outdoor fireplace.
Vacations by the Sea is the largest professional vacation condo rental manager in the South Beach. Vacations by the Sea was started shortly after the completion of the 1st phase of the complex in 1999. We have continued to add condominium units to our rental program as the 2nd and 3rd phase were completed in 2005. We manage a variety of units from Ocean front to Park view which will suite a range of budgets.

This area is amazing for having so many of the outdoor activities that we love and a natural beauty which is second to none.
