Great service and price! Only one day after ordering I had the "Studio" moving kit delivered to me. This was exactly what I needed for my move. The boxes were like new, and the fact that they come with a roll of tape, sharpie + newspaper for wrapping is genius. I would totally order from this company again in the future if needed.

When I was looking for boxes to move, I was astonished at how expensive moving supplies can be. I did some research and found http://UsedCardboardBo.... Not only were they priced extremely reasonably, they also provided exceptional service. I had my boxes delivered in less than 24 hours, packaged in 2 convenient large boxes. All the supplies I ordered (boxes of varying sizes, rolls of tape, markers, packing paper, sharpie) were neatly organized and arranged. They made good on all their promises. I would definitely use them again.

User friendly website with the above mentioned pluses was great for me especially because I'm never home and I don't have a door man or a secure place to get y packages delivered. I knew exactly when it would arrive, so I knew when to be home. Boxes were in great shape too! -

Moving is one of the worst experiences I voluntarily subject myself to.

Sizing how many boxes you need is very difficult - they make it easy by estimating how many boxes for a studio apartment, single bedroom, 2 bedroom, etc. I found it to be very accurate where I had only 2 boxes left over.
The box quality was very good for being used. Never, at any point, was I hesitant to put my unprotected clothes into the bare boxes.
Finally, it took only 2 days to receive my boxes. Plus the free shipping was the icing on the cake. I'd highly recommend http://UsedCardboardBo... to any of my friends and family for their next move! -

I was really worried about getting cardboard boxes from a used cardboard site. Let me tell you I will be using this company every time. There is nothing worse then trying to find boxes all on your own.
I have moved so many times growing up in the military so when I can find a site like this that makes my move 100 times better, I can't help but have a smile on my face.
The prices are great and delivery is literally 2 days max. The boxes are fantastic. There isn't a rip in any of them. They also are nice enough to throw in tape, paper and a marker. SCORE!

Two clean boxes of well, boxes arrived in good condition despite terrible thunderstorms here in Chicago. The white packing paper was clean and organized neatly along with tape, box cutters and pens at the top of our boxes. I was nervous about how clean the boxes would be--they are perfect. They are thick cardboard and sturdy as well.
If you plan ahead a few days save yourself some money by ordering these and you will not be disappointed. -

It eliminates so many of the things I don't like about moving:
1) spending a lot of money on boxes - they're cheaper than buying new
2) carrying boxes back to apartment - free delivery included for all orders, and they usually come in a couple of days via UPS
3) huge waste of cardboard materials - because the boxes are already used, I know I haven't generated a huge pile of cardboard refuse just to move my stuff across the city
Another nice thing is that they do more than the name implies. It's almost a one-stop-shop for moving supplies. The studio kit includes a market, a box cutter, and tape (all of which you needed anyway!). You can also add useful items like bubble wrap to your order.
I will continue to order my boxes here for as long as they're around (hopefully forever!). -

Sure, you can dive for used boxes for free, but you never know if you'll have enough, or if you'll be bringing home some creepy crawlies. And that doesn't even take into account rain completely ruining your day (and move).
Used Cardboard Boxes are not only much cheaper than elsewhere, but you get standard box sizes (standard to your move at least) so you know you won't have stacking issues. The boxes arrived within 2 business days, are in pristine condition, and I now have more sheets than I really need, buy hey, it beats going to your new home with a pile of broken glass and no dishes.
And you get to help recycle used boxes, if you're into that sort of thing. -

I know you can get boxes for free from a lot of different sources, but I decided to move kinda last minute and I don't have time, car, or inclination to drive around forever looking for scraps that businesses are nice enough to toss me.
I ordered the studio/dorm kit, which JUST about covered me for boxes. My neighbor dropped off one or two more, and I got a few additional small ones and I was set.
I ordered the boxes on a Wed, and they were shipped and delivered by Friday. Pretty fast!! I think they were a good deal for the money, and avoided me running around like an idiot trying to get boxes on a short notice. I also used discount code: GREEN for $1 off.
My only complaint is that the tape and marker they give you with the kits are crap. I guess any additional tape will help, but it is super cheap and not that much is given. The marker ran out before I was done packing. But oh well. I like having boxes all the same size and I think it will be easier to deal with come moving day. Oh and the boxes were all in great condition. Clean, used once and identical for each size provided. -

Moving boxes for a fraction of the price, they ship them to you for free and you make your move a little greener.
I found this 'place' by accident when I started searching for moving boxes after seeing the outrageous prices that U-Haul was charging. I have always been a box scrounger when moving and it has always sucked. You never have enough and they're all weird sizes which makes packing the truck like playing Jenga. Sick of it, I decided to buy boxes which makes me feel dirty for using them once and tossing them.
Anyhow, this place sells used boxes that they gather from many retail, misprint and overrun sources and sell them for a fraction of the price of anywhere else. Then they will ship them to you for FREE. I got 69 boxes, 6 rolls of tape, a tape dispenser, 150 sheets of packing paper, 2 sharpies and 2 box openers for $155 and they were here in 2 days. I still feel lousy for tossing the boxes but a lot less after supporting these guys. Also, the boxes were just about like new.
The only bad thing I can say is that they don't seem to have small boxes. The mediums are too big for heavy items like books. But try http://www.uline.com for those.
They do have distribution centers where you can pick them up in person. -

i hate moving.
so anything that helps alleviate the pain is welcome.
i found this company online after a google search. they were the same price as my other options, so i figured i would go the eco-friendly route.
two days later boxes were on my doorstep. what a welcome surprise.
the quality was superior. no difference between these and new boxes, in my opinion.
plus, some of the boxes have cool labels printed on them, like "diapers."
makes packing a little more fun for some reason.
i'll definitely use these guys again. -

I ordered the studio kit for my move and was pleasantly surprised at the great condition the boxes were in. Clean, with no writing, and only one small tear in one box that I easily patched with the tape provided in the kit. These boxes were probably in better condition than if I had gone around town looking for used boxes.
The price is definitely right, and it was very convenient to have everything show up at my door. The kit came with boxes, tape, marker, cutter, and paper - just about everything I needed.
As another reviewer mentioned, it's great to find greener options that are also less expensive!

I've now used this company three times for moves. The first two times were buying just a pack of boxes to supplement what I already had. My last move I recycled all my boxes (too many uses so they were falling apart). So I bought the Average Joe 2 bedroom pack. I'm in the packing process, so I will update later about how it is size wise, even though I'm sure it is more than enough. My favorite thing is that I ordered the boxes at work one day and I get home the next day and they are there. I was not expecting it so quickly. The prices are great (much cheaper than uhaul), the shipping is crazy fast and it is a good product with a good message. No point in killing trees just so I can move. I'm hoping to stop moving so much, but when I do, I know where to get boxes from.

http://usedcardboardbo... is AMAZING!!! so, basically when you move, you have to either systematically collect boxes from your work + supplement with a few liquor store boxes and purchased uhaul boxes, or you have to just buy everything. This store is awesome because you can buy used boxes, and especially because you can buy a kit - I bought the 1 bedroom pack rat kit and I can tell it definitely has enough boxes for my move. I remember canvasing the liquor stores in college trying to scare up enough half-broken boxes to move stuff in. I am only putting things into storage this time, but it was so quick and easy to order these boxes I will definitely do it again in the future when the need arises.
The boxes are clean, only a couple have minor (minor!) little dents.
I ordered bubble-wrap too which has been great for packing dishes and china.
I would recommend these boxes to anyone. -

Technically you can get boxes for free by asking supermarkets/drug stores, but in NYC I was worried about bringing roaches in with those boxes and hence preferred to pay $$$. http://Usedcardboardbo... was a good compromise between my cheap nature and my desire for quality boxes. I ordered the one-bedroom moving kit ($76). It arrived in two days. Included everything I needed to pack my apartment (almost exactly). One box was slightly damaged but still usable, all the other boxes were in perfect condition. There were no bugs or other unpleasant creatures. In fact, other than the labels on the boxes, they seemed practically new. I also ordered the bubble wrap ($17) which came in handy. The boxes came with packing tape, wrapping paper, and box cutters. Made things much easier than having. to buy packing materials separately. The box sizes were well-thought out as well. Just enough medium boxes for the heavier stuff and larger boxes for the lighter stuff. I would estimate we saved between $40-$100 on materials by using this service. Would use again.
