      2?
      3? 2? 3?

You can see I had many years of great experiences. Then in 2017 when my taxes sent to me from preparer in most expensive safe means were lost.

DANG- yeah they did find them but what a fun couple days wondering if they were randomly stuck in any old box with all financial papers.

Fast forward to this Feb. when I go to my PObox and it is cardboarded closed with a note- available to rent. I am told point blank that they put a notice of payment due and I ignored it. I again- tax papers, car tabs coming, insurance bill and who knows what else- where is my mail? It could not be found - a day goes by another before I have to pay an extra 25.00$ fine because I NEVER got that payment due notice.

The months of payment due were changed last spring when it was due because at that time I was misquoted how the process worked- so this Feb. I had not remembered the change from due every July for 15 years to due in Jan- thus I did not think to go ask "is my payment due?" Rest assured it is now in my jogger calendar.

They have many, very helpful employees- 2 males in particular whom have worked there probably the whole 15 yrs of my being a box holder. A new woman from TX is very friendly.

Every time I come here the white patrons get HOSTILE with me. I don't know if it's xenophobia, my Californian license plate, or something else, but every person who passes by either stares at me (for a long time to make sure I know they are) or they exchange some verbal words (which I cannot make out clearly from inside the car). But for the love of God, it isn't safe. It can't be a coincidence that this has happened multiple times. Just don't come here! The workers here are rude anyway.

Alright, let me tell ya about this local post office. People... they love to give the post office a hard time. But, here's the thing: it's always consistent. You know what you're gonna get. The folks behind the counter? Yeah, they might be a little cranky, but have you taken a look at that line? It's like a zoo in there. People? Impatient. Rude. Just plain grouchy. If you're getting cranky waiting in that line, well, maybe try showing up a bit earlier. Avoid the circus. Because let's be honest, no one wants to deal with slow, cranky folks in line. The post office? It's just doing its thing. Cut them some slack.

They're blatantly inept, and even when they realize it, they genuinely don't care. At all. Lost packages regularly. Packages delivered to the wrong address regularly (blocks away). Rude and unhelpful attitude when asking for help resolving their mistakes. Most of the time they're not found (literally still waiting on the 'update' I was promised over 2 years ago on the investigation they opened on my first lost package). I would go on for pages about how bad this specific post office is- truly an embarrassment. The postmaster at this location should be ashamed.

Fiancés jewelry was stolen by one of the postal workers. Only conclusion that can be drawn. Left a note on our door when we were definitely home, went to retrieve it, told it was lost and could not be found. Offered no help to find it and were evasive about filing any reports. Would not give names when asked. This is after years of them never knocking and leaving notes. She works from home so has always been home when they sneakily try leave notes and disappear. They are the reason that post offices will soon be gone and good riddance.

Wow, possibly the rudest postal worker I've encountered. A bummer since the other person working in the office seemed lovely, but Kanitha was remarkably rude. I was shipping a small parcel to the UK and at one point she looked at me and said "haven't you ever shipped anything before" when I didn't have a customs form signed. If you've shipped internationally you know it's a whole different ballgame than domestic and Kanitha was far more excited to berate me for mistakes than help. Worst postal experience ever.

I have used post office boxes since the 70's and have come to the conclusion that the USPS has become increasingly incompetent over the many years I have been with them.We had rental property and that was our main reason for using a paid box at the USPS for collecting mail.
Now we are experiencing items either put in other peoples boxes, or lost. We even recently picked up a package that had been opened , re-taped and a letter of apology from another box holder stating that our item was put in her box. We received an email from one of our vendors stating that our package had been delivered. We go to the post office to pick it up and the desk clerk says "we can't find your package" and in the process of looking he hands me 2 other packages , that we had been waiting weeks for, one package containing medications. His response to me was "oh, these were in our wrong box cart".
This is disturbing all the goof ups that are occurring at the USPS. Perhaps it is time we bring the robots in...I think they will do a more efficient job.

This is a terrible post office. I sent a certified letter but they didn't log the tracking info and it got lost in the mail. The people that work at the desk are extremely unfriendly and they don't clean their pens. It's unfortunate that this is the closest post office to me because it absolutely sucks. Keep your $4.95 and get your shit together!

The customer service here is despicable. Stephen in particular is a pice of work: I have had the misfortune of dealing with him on 2/3 of my last visits here and he has yelled at me repeatedly, spoken with a tone/attitude implying I was a bother and an idiot (ex: "what do you mean, there wasn't a line", "what's fragile, you're not shipping alcohol I hope", "I thought you were going to jam up our drop box" and so on). I understand the post office is having a tough time right now but it's infuriating to see it being represented by such a miserable person who lacks even the most basic of common courtesy. I've taken to going out of my way to go to a different post office almost 10 minutes farther away to avoid having to interact with this miserable man.

I have been coming to this location for 20 years, and it is my preferred post office in the entire city. A short while ago I witnessed a seething verbal attack made by a female customer at one of the nice men who works here and it was completely unwarranted and cruel. I feel compelled to post a review in support of this man who in his role of representing the USPS showed incredible, unflappable professionalism and courtesy in what was a horrendous incident to witness.

I spoke a bit to the woman while we were both in line, she was in front of me. She didn't have her mailing together and ready to go, lacked tape, and brought it to his counter in a jumble. Right before she approached him she told me how tired and angry she was from running errands in traffic. How it took twice as long as usual to get from A to B, how she hated Seattle, on and on. She definitely came in with a bad attitude.

She carried all of that vitriol right to the unfortunate fellow working. I was 3 feet away and witnessed as she dropped an obscure pronoun in order to bait him and then accuse him of making a misogynistic assumption. She said "we" and I guessed the same response in my head that he responded with. "you and your husband?" Then the rage unfurled and he was slammed with a lecture about how a woman doesn't need a man...oof. She even dropped a second obscure "we" in order to give an additional lashing on how this pronoun could mean "several women" EVEN THOUGH in this case, it didn't! The final touch was too much as she added, "and for the record I'll have you know I have been married to a man for 55 years!" (Don't want anyone to think you might be gay? Was that the point of that? Unbelievable.)

I was deeply upset to watch this woman take her bad day out on this nice man under the guise of being some sort of warrior of The Reckoning. I am an unmarried woman in my forties and by this woman's logic I, too, should be ashamed of my own terrible misogynistic assumptions. I was appalled by her manipulative, displaced anger. I was also impressed beyond measure by his incredibly considerate and calm responses to her lashings. What a miraculous example of stellar customer service and courtesy he displayed in the face of such an unhinged rant. Bravo.

I can't help but imagine how frightening it would be for a man to be accused of gender bias while he is working in a service position. Such an accusation could cost a man his job! And let's not forget the fear he may face to ever say anything about anything ever again. There are good men on this Earth and we need them to feel safe, too!

I couldn't sleep that night as I imagined the consequences he could face if she made a formal complaint. A tired, angry person unloaded on another person who not only deserved none of it, but handled it with a graceful patience I found to be truly impressive and inspiring. I am always pleased with the service and assistance I receive at this post office. The people working there are lovely and kind to me, always. It made me sick to see a customer behave in such a way in defense of the female gender. I hope men know that women like her do not define all women, nor do such women have any right to take a bad mood out on a courteous man.

Kind man, you did nothing wrong or offensive, and I'm sorry you were mistreated. I'd be happy to speak on your behalf should she lodge any complaint. You did nothing wrong and you handled a difficult customer incredibly well.

Thank you for your exemplary behavior, it was awe-inspiring to witness. I am so glad and grateful for the calm example you present. Because of you, this post office is a safe place.
