PROS:
good catalog selection
impressive quality for the price
nice salesman (Tim)
fast delivery
willing to negotiate on price
CONS:
delivery did not include removing packaging
15% restocking fee for returns
$79 for in-city delivery
small showroom resulting in limited items on display
Not being a fancy person, I want good quality, attractive looking furniture that is a step up from Ikea but won't break the bank. I did a lot of shopping online for my options and I found this store on craigslist and liked their prices and selection so decided to check out the showroom. Their showroom selection is sparse but can give you a good sense of the type of furniture they sell.
I've been there a couple of times. First time, to look for a sofa. Tim was very attentive and answered our questions without putting any pressure to buy. We ended up buying elsewhere but kept them in mind.
The next time we wanted to purchase a TV stand. Tim was there once again and despite having another customer, stepped over to us to answer questions again. They have an impressive catalog selection of TV stands and were able to order and deliver the one we wanted within 2 days.
Delivery was $79 within the city which is less than Macy's ($165) but still a little steep since they only brought the box in the house and left (did not unpack nor take away the boxes, styrofoam, etc)
Will definitely return if we need anything in the future (the dining table is looking kinda shabby...)
Good value for the dollar! Trust me, we researched!
My boyfriend fell in love with the dining table set here, and we got a very good deal on it. Yes, you have to assemble it yourself, but it is a step up from Ikea. It has only been a month or so and the table already has some scratches, but I was kind of expecting it.
We came back to order a bedroom set and coffee table set, which we also got a small discount on.
Delivery is something like $60 per trip in the city, so we decided to pick it up ourselves with a city car share truck.
Most of the furniture is very nice, but the king size bed frame is not supportive enough without a box-spring. It is not meant for a boxspring but eventually we had to put the box back on, so our bed is something like 10 feet off the ground now. Ok not that high but quite tall! We have gotten used to it though.
The salespeople are down to earth and our experience is positive. I took my mom here last week- who knows she might end up with some stuff for her new apartment as well.
This place is wonderful. The owner, Ahmed, is really on top of his stuff. He makes sure that his employees treat the customers with respect, and if something happens, he makes sure that his customers are satisfied. I ordered a lot of furniture from this place and it's beautiful stuff. My bed, kitchen table and two chairs and from this place. The stuff is good quality, inexpensive, easy to put together, and great service. The owner cares about the experience that his customers receive and to me, because I'm in customer service and retail, that's a really important thing.
The delivery happened when they said it would happen so I really appreciated that as well.
I would support this business if I were you, and I'll be back the next time I need some furniture. I need a new dresser...!
Kudos to Ahmed, the owner, for writing to follow up on my negative experience.
By no means my review was meant to be a criticism of their stock - in fact, they sell some kickass furniture at competitive prices! - but knowing what I know now, I will not be going back there on a Saturday afternoon (peak hour traffic).

Ahmed is an incredibly nice guy. Great prices and stellar customer service. Even their delivery guys are nice. I'll definitely shop here again.
Their furniture is awesome for the price, and the salespeople I dealt with were really sweet, prompt and helpful. I wish the restocking fees weren't so high, or that you had a day or two to change your mind (the thing I ordered doesn't look quite right in my apartment). I also thought the delivery was really expensive - something like $70 to deliver a chair! That said, I do think their furniture is a bargain and the staff was great.
I found Urban Loft Company while looking for a dresser on craigslist. I was going to purchase off the website but decided to visit the show room since I was in the neighborhood. The quality of their products is great and their prices are very reasonable. I had next day delivery on my items and the delivery men were very friendly--even gave me a courtesy call to let me know what time they would arrive. I will definitely be shopping there again.
Wow, I just read the last review and probably wouldn't have gone if that's all that was there - perhaps someone else handled my order? I recently ordered furniture there, it arrived when promised, and despite the huge amount of packaging (mostly w/ the two armchairs and a dresser), it arrived beautifully. The bar table arrived with a deep dented corner (the exterior packaging was fine so must have been shipped that way), but Jeff was responsive and the new one is to be delivered tomorrow. I had a very positive experience there and my place looks great! I also showed up on a day I was working from home so was looking pretty shabby, but that didn't seem to lead to any disrespect, he complimented my tastes, etc. I also thought he was kind of cute, though, so I may be being overgenerous.
