I generally try not to go north of Saticoy on Sepulveda for lunch, but after a co-worker's recommendation, I decided to chance it. And let me say: not too shabby UR Sub Stop. No too shabby at all.

I got the chicken Philly cheesesteak sandwich with green pepper, easy grilled onion, and swiss TO GO, and yes, it was very tasty. The "regular" size is big enough, so I can't imagine getting a large. The fries were good too - skinny fries, which I prefer. The regular sized sub with fries and a drink cost me about $8, so it's pretty cheap too.

The guy working there seemed nice, and the shop seems to have regulars (like "everybody knows your name" Cheers style). And I can only assume the food was fresh since it took a while to get it. I think getting it "to go" is the way to go, just because the inside decor leaves something to be desired - almost like eating at a donut shop...

I liked it enough to potentially go back, so I think that deserves 4 stars. And hopefully I can get something a little healthier next time (sorry bathing suit).

They offer a reasonably decent, but not very authentic Philly Cheese Steak. Mine was fresh and warm, but since I ordered the option with mushrooms, I woud have expected more than a few mushrooms.

I also was not thrilled that tehy only give one refill, and then they charge 75 cents (or more) for additional ones.  That's what their sign said (75 cents or more).  I would recommend this place if you happen to be driving by, but it is nothing worth going out of the way for,

I went there with a co-worker for lunch after hearing about the raving reviews and I was thouroughly disappointed! The wait was RIDICULOUSLY long! She didn't start making my food until we had been sitting there for 15 minutes, and it took her all of 2 minutes to make the actual Turkey w/guac sandwich that I got.  Needless to say, we ended up being late getting back to work and the sandwich was HORRIBLE! It tasted like perfume! By far, the worst sandwich I've ever eaten! I will never go to this place again! I have no idea how they won "Best Sandwich in LA."

I tried this place for lunch the other day after reading all the raving reviews about it..  got the philly cheesesteak with mushrooms.  with the combo drink and fries..  and although I wouldnt go as far as to say i was disappointed, well i kindda was..  perhaps my expectations were just a bit too much.  The food was okay, pretty average i guess, nothing to shout to my friends about..  so i'll give them an average rating as well..

The food was okay..  no complaints at all..
The place is clean and the staff/owner is very friendly and helpful.
    Prices were reasonable..

I'd definitely be back to this place, but wouldnt go out of my way to..

My office used to be located right next to this place, which is tucked into the same lot as an auto body shop.  I went there all the time for the breakfast burritos.

Today, even though our office has moved to the other side of town, I still regularly make the trek to UR Sub Stop, in order to get one of their breakfast burritos.

The secret is the mysterious green salsa!   I'm not sure whether you should even call it salsa, because it tastes more Asian than Mexican.
I hate that word "fusion" when it comes to cooking, but I'd have to admit that this breakfast burrito has a bit of Asian "fusion" going on, when paired with that salsa.

I've asked for the secret, but the owner, Soowon, just smiles.  She knows how to keep customers coming back!

    Great food and service!
I am a regular at this place. Great Italian sub, Philly cheese steak that rivals any I've had. The owner operator is a great guy always greets you with a friendly smile. Been meaning to write this review for awhile just got around to it. Try them out you won't be disappointed!

I dont usually eat Philly Cheese Steaks but I had to since they claim to have the best and it was great! Things take a bit with only two on staff but its well worth it and she moved stuff around and cleaned up since the last time I was there.
