My doggie loves this place! It is clean, bright, open and they have wonderful management! I got a full tour of the facility (where the doggies have approx 5,000 sq ft to run around and are cage-free) and was given two, free trial days to make sure my dog was happy there before I paid for any daycare visits.
There was no sales pressure to commit to a package, and they always let me know what kind of day Goldie had when I pick her up. She gets really excited when we pull up outside -she just loves her playtime at Unleashed!

I've been taking my Neapolitan Mastiff Zeus there since August of last year and I've been very pleased with Unleashed. There has been a few times that I was running late and they allowed me to leave him there longer than allowed. They have also been very accommodating at times when I had to leave him overnight at the last minute.
When I pick up Zeus, Bridgid, the owner, always takes the time to tell me how he was during the day, what dogs he played with and if there were any problems. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. I originally took him to this location because it was just a couple blocks from my office, but it's the staff and the service the provide that keeps me coming back.
I have continued taking my dog here for the past year or so and I still feel just as comfortable and satisfied as I was in the beginning. The owner Brigid is great with dogs and they are very accomidating to my sick little dog that needs to take pills morning and night. I ask that he not play with the big dogs while he's there and so he spends some time with some of the other little ones in the small play area downstairs. It just makes me feel better. In general, I wish the cost of boarding my dog wasn't so expensive, but that seems to be the going rate in Chicago. This place is well worth it!!

LOVE em LOVE em LOVE em! I can't say enough good things about Unleashed and the people that work there. When the school year started this year, I realized that I needed to spend more time there to get things done. Not having someone to help me out with Bailey at home every day, I looked into Unleashed. I had heard great things about them already, so I checked it out and found that the facility is HUGE and kept really clean.
Brigid and everyone there were so welcoming and willing to let my little 18lb dog try it out for a few days and see if it was a fit for him. Every time I pick him up now he is asleep in the car before we even turn the corner. He plays and plays all day long, and now looks forward to his two-days-a-week visit there! I always love walking in to pick him up and hearing about all the fun he had that day. (I also love the exhausted dog I get too!)
Unleashed has been amazing and I feel very confident leaving him in their hands. All staff is helpful, friendly, very professional, and caring. I never worry about leaving him there those two days a week. He loves his new friends & playmates :)
Prescott LOVES Unleashed! We tried out Unleashed at the recommendation of our dog's trainer Curtis Scott, and we are so pleased that we took his advice. Prescott enjoys other dogs but his highly excitable and anxious personality was not a fit with another local doggie daycare we tried in the past. We've always been scared to try again elsewhere because that first experience was fairly un-nerving. That has absolutely NOT been our experience at Unleashed! We started at Unleashed with a careful introduction to daycare with Curtis present to monitor Prescott and help him adjust, and it has been a huge success! Prescott gets so excited when we pull up at Unleashed... his tail starts wagging a mile a minute! Bridgid gives me an update each afternoon when I pick him up, and she's been incredibly patient with my emails and questions. Prescott comes home EXHAUSTED but happy from daycare. We also just boarded him at Unleashed for a long weekend, and that was a success story as well. At one point during the weekend, Prescott's excitement level was a tad too high, so he got to hang out with Bridgid and snuggle at the front desk for an afternoon to get some rest and chill out a little. I thought this was exceptional that Bridgid picked up on his need for some downtime, and the fact that she gave him some quiet one-on-one time just makes me all the happier because there are few things our pup loves more than snuggling with a dog-loving human! The next day, he was evidently well-rested and ready to go back to spending time with his canine buddies again! Pres came home healthy, happy, clean-smelling, and tired from 4 days of play! This is a welcome change from other places where we've boarded him where he's come home either sick, crabby, or smelly. The staff at Unleashed seem to really LOVE but also UNDERSTAND dogs, and they go the extra mile to make Unleashed a fun, safe, & successful experience for our pup. We HIGHLY recommend Unleashed!!!
I have tried several facilities for boarding my dear Labradoodle, and none has come close to the service I expect for Dewey, EXCEPT UNLEASHED. Brigid gives unparalleled service -- she obviously loves the dogs and loves her work -- these dogs are given personalized service and over the top attention. This is my first review on Yelp -- I'm pretty critical of other service businesses, but I cannot say enough good things about this company!!!
Our five year old pit is a rescue dog who came from a rough background. We did a lot of work with her to help her relax and learn to trust people and her environment but realized she also needed time to play and be around other dogs to help her socialization process. Because Unleashed really understands the breed and pays attention to the dogs in their care, they are one of the few daycare/overnight facilities that don't lock pit bulls away on their own without even a personality check. Our Toni loves other dogs and has a lot of patience with high energy puppies and dogs, so we were ecstatic that Unleashed provides a safe environment for her to socialize and that she's able to help out by playing with some of the more high energy dogs that can be annoying after a while, even to other dogs. We were also extremely grateful when she stayed with Unleashed for several nights in a row and Bridgid noticed that one day she was just not up to excitement the the big playroom. Toni got some quiet time in the office and a little one-on-one attention, and was ready to go again the next day. That's the kind of attention we give her at home and it's comforting to know that she's getting it at Unleashed as well. The Unleashed environment has helped Toni become a more relaxed, confident and playful dog. We can't thank them enough.
