Q:
Does anyone know the charge for egg freezing procedure here? I'm looking for the entire procedure cost not just freezing cost. Thanks!
A:
From what I remember I paid $650 for the first year and than $480 for each year after that
Tasha D.6 years agoQ:
On average, how much cost the IVF for one cycle?

I would say about 12-15K including all lab tests and prescriptions.

The goal was to have a successful IVF journey, and Dr Khorram and Dr Kim helped my wife (43) and me get pregnant. As of 2/23/24, we have a healthy boy in our arms. We are forever grateful to the doctors and the staff. They got it right on our first embryo transfer. All while navigating through medical conditions, endometriosis and ovarian cysts. The journey was long and at times felt we were getting nowhere, but Dr Khorram had us trusting the process with patience being key. This is a get down to business and not a spa experience.

If you need the Dr to hold your hand and tell you everything is going to be ok, this is not the place for you. Dr Khorram is very straight forward and to be honest, quite rude at times. He doesnt provide much info unless you ask, so be sure to write down any questions you have. Also, expect a straight forward answer and to be rushed. Aside from that Dr Khorram knows what hes doing, he got me pregnant. Dr Kim (embryologist) is very sweet, very knowledgeable and takes his time with you and ALWAYS returns calls. Im giving University Fertility 5 stars because they accomplished what i went for. I now have a 9 month old baby girl. Thank you guys so much!

If you're looking for good results and pregnancy , this is the place to go. Also, price ranges are more affordable than other places. Now, if you are mainly looking for someone to hold your hand, be gentle and and have the best bed side manners, go somewhere else because Dr.Khorram will not provide that. Ask yourself what your priorities are. I had my son 5 years ago thanks to the knowledge of the doctors here and now I am pregnant again. By the way, Dr.Kim is the embryologist and he is the sweetest. Now let's talk about the staff, Claudia and Ana are amazing! They put up with all the hormonal ladies coming in here and are always willing to help no matter what.

Dr Khorram was very knowledgeable and straightforward in his approach to helping us on our infertility journey. He was very precise with the prescriptions, vitamins and testing needed to give us the best outcome possible. Which in our case has resulted in 4 pregnancies. Dr. Kim also helped in conserving our embryos and easing our minds with meditation in the process. The girls in the front office Claudia and Ana were also very supportive and were always available for answering any questions or concerns making the process go smoother and less stressful. University Fertility Center provides exceptional reproductive care compared to some other higher end clinics most importantly they deliver results at half the cost.

Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 5, 2021Previous reviewDr. Khorram, Dr. Kim, and the staff were awesome. I am currently pregnant with twins from my first IVF cycle at 37 yo. The price for IVF here is excellent. I was recommended here by a coworker that had three friends who were all successful at this place. I highly recommend this clinic. Thank you so much Dr. Khorram and Dr. Kim for making my motherhood dreams come true.

This is a very overdue review! I don't know where to start! Hands down to the best fertility center in Cali! From the amazing staff who my wife and I bugged from day one and always answered us so kindly thank you Ana and Claudia for doing such an amazing job! My wife and I embarked in this journey a while ago and after a few iui and no success my wife came across the university fertility center and it changed our lives for ever! Dr. Khorram doesn't sugar coat anything! There is chances but no promises ! If you can't get pregnant he won't give you false hope he will give you a straight answer! This is what we all need, someone who tells you straight forward instead of making you embark in such an expensive, emotionally mentally and physically experience! Dr. Khorram gave us an amazing option .. my wife carrying my eggs!!! How amazing was that?! Same sex marriage and my wife literally carried out children!!! The embryologist Dr. Kim will show you any embryos made and how they get made! Extremely amazing! Yes you can genetically test them and find out anything in advance including gender and abnormalities! Highly recommended !! Don't waste time trying to nail a good embryo just get it test it!!!! I currently have 9 more frozen eggs! We will come back to check the other embryos hopefully we have a girl!!! And might just might be open to donating a few!!! Meanwhile we Are blessed with two beautiful healthy twins!!!! Thank you doctors and staff for helping us grow our family!!! Our 2 oldest sons are so happy being big brothers!!!!!

This review is long overdue as I was spending all my time enjoying my pregnancy and now my 4month old daughter. We got quotes from a few facility's and this was the most affordable ( if you can call fertility treatments affordable). Our first time with IVF did not work, but our second round we got our perfect beautiful daughter and we will be forever grateful to the doctors and staff here who genuinely helped us with the process. Good luck to all the couples struggling with infertility. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I really believe you will get treated well here just as we did.
Side note, sometimes there was long waits in the waiting room, but sometimes there was no wait at all, so just be flexible with that.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Susana S.Long Beach, CA0127Feb 1, 2017
If you want a short review: quality service, expertise and embryology lab to get you the best odds at the most competitive price. And yes, I had a healthy successful pregnancy from IVF. I wish I could only deduct 1/4 of a star for long waits.
Longer Review:
I was diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve (DOR). I had high FSH levels and low Estradiol. My Kaiser fertility doctor told me to go straight to IVF since it would be pretty much my only chance of having a biological child. We met with a RE in the OC and came out crying. It was a nice facility and everyone was nice. But the price!! And all the appointments I would have to go to! This protocol included many cycles and something called banking. If we went with him, I would be doing this for months and we would probably have to sell our house or my retirement to begin to cover it.
We went back to a consult with my Kaiser doctor and he recommended this facility. I am so glad and thankful that he did.
Now Dr. Khorram is a straight shooter. Some would say he does not have bedside manners. But he's direct and will not do something just to get money out of you. After my initial consult, he told me I should look into donor eggs. However, he told me to take supplements and vitamins and retest in a few months and if my numbers improve, we could try IVF with my eggs. I did and my numbers did improve. The odds for me were not in my favor. Doctor Khorram figured I would only get 2-3 eggs from a cycle. And he was right. 3 eggs but only 2 were mature. It only takes 1!!!!! (I should also point out that the staff helps you find the best prices for the medications/injections, etc).
Doctor Kim is an amazing embryologist and has a great lab. He treated my embryos like the precious beings that they are. He even told me, I have taken good care of your embryos for 5 days. Now it's your turn. He gave me great advice on what to do after they have been implanted in my uterus. Including things like reading poetry, singing and meditating.
I will point out that in addition to following all of my instructions from both Dr Khorram and Dr Kim, I also did the following: acupuncture, reiki, changed all plastic tupperwares to glass, my nonstick pans to stainless steel. Changed all skin products to those with less chemicals and fragrances, including deodorant. Read and followed many of the advice in the book, "It Starts with the Egg" by Rebecca Fett. I also ate very healthy. And mostly, I tried to remain calm and positive.
One final note, the nurses (Ana & Claudia are the names I remember)!are great. They are so busy at the front desk, but make no mistake. They are knowledgeable and care about the patients.
I loved their flexibility of hours. They had some evening & Saturday appointments available. Infertility is stressful enough without having to figure out how to take time off. Be prepared for long waits. My husband would grade & I would read articles & blogs on IVF.
If you have finished reading this, then I send you a hug and all of my positive energy. Best of luck to you regardless of where you go from here.Helpful 26Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Tomi I.Long Beach, CA041Nov 3, 2020
First, Dr.Kim is wonderful and caring and I really appreciated how much he took time to talk to me. I also got pregnant, which I believe embryologist, Dr. Kim, did the great job. He always called me back even the day he wasn't working. Thank you. However, my overall experience with the doctor and office staffs were unpleasant. No one was at the office when I show up for my appointment time at least three times, doctor was always late, which made me late to go to work. Disorganization and uncaring attitudes from the doctor and staff made me lose the faith in treatment. I decided to stop the treatment and move forward with a new doctor that time.
Today, I received a follow up call after a year. She only wants to get information she needs. I asked her a personable and sensitive question regards to abnormal eggs I had, but she was busy gathering information she needs moving on to next question. I understand they are busy, but maybe they need to think of some improvements. I have few friends looking for fertility treatments, they are going to different clinics.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
