I don't bother going here during business hours. I come for the automated package sending setup - open 24 hours so my lazy ass can mail boxes out after work or on the weekends.

While USPS has a great thing going with the automated postal system... this place never, EVER, EVERRR has a goddamn PEN. What's the point of having a fancy one-stop-and-ship setup, if you can't write the address on your fancy label that the machine spits out?

Its like the employees purposely remove all pens in the lobby when they close. Why???

So if you ever plan to send something with the "automated" system - bring a pen.

5 stars for the fact that it has an automatic package system, so you can go here whenever you like.

4 stars for the people working there...they're actually really nice.

1 star for the long lines during business hours.

It's really a 3.5 post office, but I'll bump it up to 4.

I give this Post Office one star because the people who work there take the side of an evil troll woman (who happens to be a Newton native) in a squabble over who is next in line, when clearly it is me.

Note: This troll woman is one those special characters that is dropped into your life for a very short time, but in that time, makes your life a living hell. Just so you understand where I'm coming from. ;)

I love this post office.  My mom brings one of the guys cookies every month because hes so nice to her.  They are so helpful.  GREAT FOR: mailing stuff.  They also have cool envelopes and trinkets for suprerme happiness.
