Have used United a couple times now. Vic has been our technician and was super nice, easy to communicate with and felt fair and reasonable. We will be working with him again for sure!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called them to quote an install of an inline fan in my master bathroom. Technician came out and literally did nothing to review the site. He walked into the house, looked at a wall where the fan would go (no desire to look in the attic or investigate how it would need to be installed), and was done in less than 5 minutes.

Following this, I had to call them 3 day later to ask if I was going to get a quote sent. They sent it immediately following the call. No detail in quote. No breakout of labor vs equipment. No reference to what sort of fan was spec'd. I emailed back and asked if the quote was for both parts and labor and they answered that indeed it was. I then emailed asking for the specs on the fan so I could figure out if it was appropriate for the space. No answer. A couple days later I email again. No answer. I finally called them a few days after that and they apologized for not getting back and said they'd get me the info the next morning during a meeting with the staff and call me righ away. Three days later, no call. I call them again - lots of apologies for not getting back. They say they are going to find out and get right back to me. Three more days pass. No call back. Finally, I call one last time and I'm like - what's the deal??? Can you not even send specs on the fan? Can you not return a customer's call?? "Oh sorry", they say, "um yeah, the technician couldn't find the fan so they can't do it." Can't do what? Can't get me specs for a theoretical fan they quoted $1600 for? Can't find any fans in stock? Can't install fans that they came out and said they could install?

This place is just absurd. I wasted two weeks chasing them and now will have to spend more time finding someone to do this job. Horrible customer service. Technicians who don't know what they are doing. Don't waste your time.

They came out to do a Tesla charger install and then never got back to us with an estimate. We called and spoke to manager/dispatch several times about asking to schedule the service and send us the quote and they just literally never followed up. It's been going on for a couple months, finally went with someone else. Do not go with them if you're hoping for prompt work and good communication.

Lazy, horrible response time. Don't use their services!!!!!!
They will tell you a day cancel and probably cancel that next one. And unprofessional dispatchers. Would NOT recommend to my enemy.

I am managing a home restoration/renovation project in Highland Park, CA and reached out to United on getting an estimate. They were timely, easy to work with, and sent out their plumbing inspector Arthur. Arthur was diligent, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond what he was asked to do for us on the inspection. He gave us his honest opinion on what needed to be done and felt that another company could handle the scope of our project better than he could. More than this, he recommended another plumber who could get it done for cheaper and quicker.

His honesty, customer service, and knowledge were greatly appreciated! If I ever need a plumber on a smaller job in the future, I will def reach out to and highly recommend Arthur over at United Plumbing!

We had an electrical issue related to our Nest video doorbell that had stumped our contractor, so I called United. Vic G. came out that same afternoon, and diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be more complicated than we realized. He was able to fix the issue and get the system running. Fast response plus professional service = Top Rating.

I do not believe this is a trustworthy company. They came out to look at a partial power outage in my house. Over the phone he told me it would cost $89 for the tech to come look at the problem, plus the cost of any necessary repairs. Turns out it was a problem with the power source (thanks LADWP!) that the city needed to fix.

When it came time for him to leave, he tried to charge me $89 for the visit, plus $125 for "troubleshooting." The guy had only been there for 20-30 minutes, tops! He had made no repairs at all and had not asked me or my roommate for permission to do said "troubleshooting." Plus, one would assume basic troubleshooting would be included in "coming out to see what the problem is."

I told him there was no way I was paying that because he had not asked me to approve that additional cost. He immediately backed down (another sign that he knew he was full of it). I definitely felt like he was looking to take advantage of the fact that I am a young, female, clearly inexperienced homeowner. I would not use this company again.

After having work done by this company I had sent in a copy of my invoice to my solar company. The electrician told me that my solar company put in used and faulty parts. And I heard back from the solar company after submitting a complaint and wanting my money back and that's when they told me that my electrician was lying and they sent me pictures of the work they did. I made numerous attempts and after the fourth attempt and not receiving a return call I finally had to close my complaint with my solar company. So needless to say, I do not recommend this company for anything. The work that they did that I probably did not need cost me $1200.

These guys are always punctual, knowledgeable and diligent in their work. I have used them a couple of times and will continue to. Vic did the work, and did a good job, quickly and efficiently. The only downside is their prices are so low that Vic left me to finish the job of hiding the wires on the wall because he didn't have time and didnt have the wire covering. But I agreed to do it myself as it was quite easy.

I had an electrical problem and Vic did troubleshooting and figured out my problem. He was very professional and expained thoroughly what had to be done and he fixed the electrical situation. He is very knowledgeable and takes alot of pride in his work, that goes along way for me as a customer!
I would definitely call them for any electrical needs!
