I forgot how fun laser tag was!!

Came here for my best friend's 23rd birthday. We got a private room and also played two private games. It probably wouldn't be very fun if we played with little kids. Anyways, the staff is always smiling and energetic. Great place to go and I definitely want to go again.

I always come here with my nephews and niece and they love it. Love it is an understatement.
My nephew did his birthday here and I swear if I could be as half as excited about anything in my life as he and his friends are excited about lasertag, I would be a happy man.
Service is great, Jennifer is always really nice with all the kids, a real sweetheart.

We were there on a Wednesday night which is one of their fund raiser nights. It was $10 a game which I find reasonable.

It was my first time to play laser tag and I was a little disappointed, mostly because there were just too many kids. It's like walking by masses of kids and just pointing your weapon at them and randomly shooting. My equipment didn't work at first which was pretty horrible for my self esteem an even after I got new equipment I was like twice as tall as most other players which made me the main target for everyone.

Its fun to try but next time I'll give pair ball a shot.

This place is amazing for both adults and kids.

I have come here for a late night game when me and some friends didnt have any plans, for something we thought would be boring it ended up 6 adult acting like little kids. It has a big field to run around (they say you cant).

My brother had his birthday here and he loved it just as much, they cater really well to birthdays, gave him his own private room and a cake if i recall. He had a great time at the arcade and actually playing laser tag.

    Aching  to come back.

I take my high school aged Girl Scout troop here for fun during the week.  The girls have a ton of fun, the facility is always kept clean, and there are many places for you to get something to eat.  There are people of ALL ages playing laser tag.  Don't get it twisted.  From little 10 year old birthday parties, to adults well into their 30s on a cute little date.  Everyone gets into the game.

The only downside: my Girl Scouts know how to strategically win, which leads them to winning each game, but then other people partaking in the game accuse them of cheating because they're so good.  We can't help our amazingness.  Don't be jealous.  It's just a game.

Relationships work best when your partner is also your best friend. If you have fun doing ANYTHING whether it is a classy dinner or a trip to Target; then you have a solid foundation. My boyfriend is my best friend and on one of our "monthiversaries", we decided to "celebrate". No, we didn't agree on a fancy dinner or some drinks. Instead, we opted for... LASER TAG! Hey, if you can't act like a dorky child with your partner, then who CAN you be a child with?!

Both my boyfriend and I have never played laser tag so our 26 and 31 year old selves headed to Ultrazone to lose our laser tag virginities. Ultrazone is mostly laser tag oriented so don't expect a high-end Chuck E Cheese or wherever the kiddos hang now-a-days. There are some video games (Dance Dance Revolution, air hockey, etc) but other than that, the establishment is somewhat small in the non-laser tag entertainment aspect.

Although slightly embarrassed about our old age, the teen employees were welcoming and affirmed that older patrons play laser tag all the time. Laser tag games are $9.50/per person for a 15 min game although there are specials available (such as buying 2 games on certain days at $7/each). There was already a group of children playing a game so we had to wait until the next round but being that the rotations are only 15 min, it wasn't too bad. There is a waiting area available for the parents or laser tag players and magazines (I couldn't resist looking through the newest US Weekly) to keep you preoccupied.

It was finally our turn and we were set to play with about 9 children. It is actually funner with more people although we went on a weekday and I wouldn't necessarily want to experience the weekend craziness. You enter a dark cave-like area where an employee explains the rules (3 teams, no running, safe bases, etc). You then head over to put on your laser vests and are instantly transformed into Ghost Busters. There is something about putting on those vests with a laser gun where you are reverted back to your 8 year old self. It helps that you get silly nick names like Blizzard and Thunder (wasn't that an American Gladiator?!).

As for the game? AMAZING!!!! First of all, although 15 min may not sound like a value for $9.50, it is. Your heart actually starts beating, adrenalin rushes, and a smile never leaves your face. It's a better workout than bad sex. Of course the kiddos are pros and basically kick your butt (although my boyfriend did place 2nd overall with our team also in 2nd) but it is humorous to have a 10 year old beat you. Plus, if you are competitive like me, it presents a large dose of motivation. The playing field is quite large with several tunnels, nooks and crannies, and caves in a neon/blacklight environment with Ghost Buster type music playing on the speakers. Before you know it, the 15 min are over and you are begging to play again like you are one of the children pulling on your mom's pant leg.

Ultrazone also has birthday party packages available with 2 games of tag per child, party rooms, decorations, etc for $25/child. It is actually quite expensive as their offerings for the party were very limited and the rooms are windowless and resemble closets.

This was one of the best monthiversaries/dates ever and my boyfriend and I are already itching to go back and become pros like the kids. Let me guess: you're thinking that you and your partner can't play such childish games? Perhaps you should reevaluate your relationship because sometimes, you just need to be a kid again.

Okay. So I am 28 and I was not prepared for the hordes of small children infesting this place.  That being said, they were a heck of a lot of fun to play laser tag with.

This is my take and my reason for 4 stars.
The games are cheap, like $7 a person.
    It's good for groups.
    It's a good location.
The course/arena is decent, and the equipment functions well and seems to be well maintained and kept clean.
They have a really cool team/individual point scoring system, which in this day and age of leaderboards and point systems is really cool.

    Some cons:
It is really really noisy with a hundred children running and around and literally screaming.
It looks like it is run by kids (16 year olds) who are just as tired of putting up with the little ones running around as I was.

I may be a bit grown up, but when I am running around with a frickin' laser gun in my hand shooting people, none of the other stuff matters.  Its just fun.

Barney Stinson loves Lazer Tag, and so will you.

Getting Beyond all the preconceived ideas of Lazer Tag, just know it is fun fun fun.  Ect.

This is the first time place I've ever played Lazer Tag at and it was a great experience.

The staff was decent and also run through the instructions of the maze which is done in a very energetic way.

The location has a maze in which you are shot other two other teams, its easy to get lost but overall it is fun to play against others. The crowd can range from parties to kids to families. The price is decent for an all night pass and I will return here again.

If you like accosting children, then this is the place for you!

Man, after a long ass day of work and stress, it feels so great to go shoot at little kids with lasers and point out that although, yes, they did rack up more points than you, you still have a car and money and can have beer and chocolate for breakfast if you want, because you're an adult goddammit!

Oh how I love laser tag. Actually, I had never been before Ultrazone. I was with a small group of over-30s and we went on a Friday night. There were probably five other over-30s and 40+ under 15 peeps there. I LOVED shooting the teenagers and kids and then ducking out. You can get a lot of stress and aggression out! ;) Anyhoo, if you want to do some thing different or wonder how this place is, I'd totally recommend it. We bought 4 or 5 rounds and nearly closed the place down! :)

    LLLLLAAASSSSEEEERRRR TTTTTAAAAAAGGGGGGGgggggg.....

    *phew*

I came here for my birthday, hey laser tag knows no age!, and it was tons o' fun. It may have been littered with 8 year olds shouting "RED RED RED RED, YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW, BLUE BLUE BLUE" (the three teams) but it's all good cause they were with birthday parties and we were "public" games, which the chitlins were not allowed to take part.

I have to say we did play 1 game of one on one on one, thinking it would have been lame, but it was SOOOO COOOL! Always on edge, walking on egg shells, and shooting like i was a member of black ops; it was intense.

We played 2 games (25 minutes each) and we were satisfied. I found it very soothing playing the game and was very relaxed walking to the car... sadly I still had to drive home, which meant LA drivers....

    ENJOY!

I've been here a few times and although LaserTag is always fun, it's not fun when you're shoved into the zone room with 50 billion screaming adolescents who think that standing behind you and constantly firing is the way to play the game.

I think if you're going to come here you should do a private game with just a few people because it's not much fun when there are 20+ people in the zone room. You can't hide, and there is no strategy when you can see and be seen by at least 5 people all the time...and you're always running into someone.

It might be a good idea to have an adults only day/time too.

I don't really like laser tag...I have bad hand-eye coordination...I'm really bad on the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland, and those aren't even moving targets. But...the one time I have gone laser tagging, I came to Ultrazone, and I think it was a lot of fun.

First of all, we were at Ultrazone for a fundraiser for a community service organization I was in during college. They're very generous in their fundraisers. As long as we gave them a fixed amount, we could sell tickets to as many people and have as many plays as we wanted and our organization would keep the rest of the money. They even let us bring our own snacks to sell because we reeeeally wanted to fundraise a lot of money.

Each game about 20...? (I think) people get to play at a time. Everyone else has to wait outside, but they have plenty of arcade games to keep people occupied. Each game is 15 minutes, which is PLENTY of time. And at the end, the post the winning teams and final scores. The staff was all really young and energetic, which made the game so much more fun. Everyone we brought had a good time, and we raised a lot of money, too!

ZAP ZAP ZAP.  Gotcha... (gets zapped)... aww maaaannnnn.

Now who says laser tagging is only for little kids?  Well... okay, I am a kid at heart, so maybe that's why I enjoyed this so much.  Young or Old, Ultrazone allows for some good quality fun.

For about $12, you can get one game of laser tagging in.  What I did was attend a fundraising event for one of the organizations I am a part of, which offered a good discount and unlimited play inside the laser tag zone.  They will usually offer fundraisers to clubs, so if you're lucky, you'll drop by on a day when one is taking place.

Never gone laser tagging?  No problem!  Ultrazone does this nifty tutorial right before a game begins to instruct new players.  Once briefed upon the ways of laser tagging, the group is separated into three teams, with each person having their own code name so keep track of their rank and how many points they accumulated during the match.  Each round lasts for 15 minutes, and it's quite intense!

I love the arena inside.  It's large enough to get some good ground covered, but not too big where you feel like you're going to get lost.  There's house music blasting in the background, and plenty of spaces to hide and shoot at people like a sniper.  It may seem silly at first, but you really get into it and have a blast.  It's especially fun trying to stalk someone during the entire round to try and shoot down as much as possible.  But be careful, that tactic will have you shot down in a matter of minutes.  After the round ends, one of the workers will announce the winners in a very dramatic voice that will get you pumped up.

For children, it is definitely safe.  There is always a worker patrolling the area, and there are strict rules including no crawling, no running inside the zone, and no foul language (although we can't guarantee slip ups).  I definitely recommend Ultrazone at least once for some fun.  After two rounds, yeah you get tired, but at least you can say you've tried it!

Parking is available on the street and in a lot, but it was a bit hard to find this place.  It's on the second floor of a plaza, so you may not see it right away.  There's also an arcade outside for those wanting to simply play some games.  The DDR pads there work very well I have to admit.

The coolest part?  If you're a guy, inside the men's bathroom there is another blacklight above the toilet stall.  When you have to urinate, your pee is going to glow in the dark!  Awesome, right!?... (ok, call me gross, but I thought it was cool).

Yes, we are all fans of Barney Stinson, so naturally, we couldn't resist waking everyone up at the crack of noon to enjoy some laser tag on a lazy Friday in LA.

    And it was awesome.

Whether you enjoy teaming up with the younger kids or massacring cocky teenagers en-masse, this is by far one of the most entertaining ways to get yourself pumped for happy hour (which at the Mad Bull across the street, is amazing)

A week or so ago I was a....noob.  A laser tag noob.  But Ultrazone helped make my virgin laser tag experience as smooth, friendly and fun as possible!

My 10 year old expert laser-tagging sister and I probably picked the best day to go: a mid-Sunday afternoon, when you are not up to your elbows in screaming children.  Our first game had only 6 other people and our second game: only 2 other people!  I don't count on being so lucky the next time I go though.  Although my first experience here for sure made me want to go back!

    The Arcade Area:

Pros: Great selection of games to keep you occupied as you wait for the ongoing game to finish (one of the women behind the counter Also the locker area beside the arcade is very secure

Con: This is just me but....really guys?  A virtual Star Trek game that is a ripoff of the Jurassic Park-style game??  LOL just a small detail...

    The Actual Laser Tag:

The game itself is very fun, of course!  Very well air-conditioned, adrenaline pumping, funky-futuristic music....overall makes for a very fun 15 minutes!

But...like Nicole S. previously mentioned, there aren't really that many places to hide...you have to run--I mean---walk really fast (if the game master catches you running, you are out of the game!).  Cuz if you don't u will get seriously frustrated that the same two people are stalking you through the same transparent walls.

However, that may be me trying to make excuses for my failure of a first game...but overall the laser tag experience was ULTRA fun!  Get it?

haha, i came here last night with some friends. ( yes, we realize we're way too old for this shit) but we didn't care. A few shots before hand and you're good to go.
Laser tag is fun and all, but when you're just going for fun and you get your ASS handed to you on a silver platter by a 7 year old who spends every night of his life here, it's pretty sad and embarrassing.
What's even worse is when you try to shoot the little bastard back, and their parents get offended that you're shooting their kid and then they both gang up on you. Not cool.
Especially with the no running rule. Lameee.
this place would be alot more fun if they played some games or had more than one room to play in. Cuz it gets old quick.
Whatever, i'll be back one of these days and i'm gonna kick everyone's ass. So watch out.

Short Version: Fun with lethal laser weapons.

Long Version: Like running around with a laser gun, shooting loved ones and strangers? Then this is the place for you. You get to run around and shoot each other, targeting your victim's sensor vest to score points. This venue is kept well and the staff is helpful, which is a nice touch when you're a nerd getting to live out your fantasy and finally get your chance to be a Galactic Ranger, 4th Level. Parking is available, though it won't be an issue since your mom will be dropping you off and picking you up later. But don't be embarrassed; go on, give it a try. It's fun!

Took the girl here for her very fast laser-tag game. The second we walked in we knew we didn't belong. You probably don't notice it as a kid, but a bunch of 9-year-olds running around, sweating and eating pizza, really stink.

Then, when you're sitting in that briefing room and there are giggles and side-conversations every 30 seconds, you realize that you're way too old for this.

However, as soon as you get into that game, start shooting that little laser, everything just falls away. You're no longer too old or too well groomed, you're a warrior in this futuristic battlefield and just because your opponents are half your size and 1/3 your age, doesn't mean you shouldn't shoot laser at them. Good times!

As a struggling musician/poet, I often spend my time in the dark corners of the psyche. It's hard to find the light in this world when you've swallowed and sucked down so much just to make it to payday and get your ex-wife and Brian their alimony check. Luckily when I come out of the shadows and want to let off some steam there's an Ultrazone waiting for me. Nothing is more gratifying than wearing my urban camo and Doc Martens for a Tuesday morning berzerker through some punk kid's birthday party or school field trip. The best part is that there are no pussy refs to tell me to take it easy on the kids or "let them have a round" because I remind them when I come through the doors that I've served my time and I'm not a criminal anymore and I bought a season pass so shut the hell up.
Also there's a Cold Stone just beneath the place so I can get my B-Day Remix on for post-game nourishment.

This might have been the worst laser tag ever - sad because it had potential. A group of us went for a friends birthday and were super excited to get in there and play. As soon as I walked into the main lobby I was almost knocked over by some little kids who looked like they got their hands on some coffee. And it just went downhill from there...

The course was way too small for the amount of people they squished in there (about 40) so you were pretty much walking into each other waiting to get lasered. That and there were the most annoying kids ever! Literally, one kid followed me around and just shot at me. We were there are 4 on a Sunday afternoon, so maybe later at night would have prevented some of this.

The game was really short too, like 15 minutes. Honestly, our 'briefing' took just as long as the actual game.

It was cheap though. If you get a group together of 12 or more it's only $7 each.  Go late, bring your friends, and try to make the best of it.

I came here on a double date one night because we were looking for something to do. I hadn't been to this location since the laser tag in Agoura Hills closed down but it was just as I had remembered it. It was fun shooting at children for a while and they didn't complain too much. A little advice, shoot through the walls, they will not see it coming. The game is pretty intense and even though you arent supposed to run, you still end up sweating by the end of the match. If you are older than 13 you will probably be the tallest person there. As long as you are just looking for a good time then nobody will care.

Just had a birthday party for my 6 year old, and we had a blast. We booked the Garden Room (accomodates up to 50 people), kids had their own section, fromt of teh rooms, and adults in the back. Our assistant, Ryan and Carly were great, very accomodating, took care of everything (picked up coffee, ordered pizza, added balloons I brought in, arranged the catering ordered for adults with all the utensils, bowls, etc provided and ttok care of teh kids for 2 hours, I actually felt like I was a guest at my own party.
Kids had a blast, and so are some of the dads who participated in the 2 games. Some of my guest (girls) said this is the place for  their own party. Great experience, wonderful services and staff, I recommend it for kids 5 and up (some of our younger guest got scared of the dark)

If you are over 12 this place isn't that fun as you would think. It's pretty expensive for a round of laser tag and it's only about 15 minutes.

The maze is cool but there is no running or crawling so your just walking around and after 5 to 7 minutes it's kinda boring.

I would go back if I was taking kids to play but not adults, you can go to play miniture golf at the Castle Park instead for the same price and it's way fun when your drunk!

haha, Ultrazone is hilarious. Its slightly expensive, nerdy, sweaty fun. :) I've been here a couple times, once was so long ago I really don't remember anything about it, the other time was I think for my little cousins birthday. I give this place 3 stars, but plus one for being the only legit laser tagging place around. The maze is pretty crazy, kinda boring at times. But then again, I'm not a little kid running around thinking I'm in a counter-strike game. And those little kids are fucking cheaters! Whatever, I score fairly good.
They have arcade games too, so I spent the rest of my money on those at the end of the night.

I think this place was a decent place to go, but I can't quite decide how I feel about it. The venue was much smaller than I expected, and they didn't downsize the groups accordingly. Sticking 40 people into such a small space didn't make it as fun as it could've been.

Also, the clientle seemed to fall into two extremes: the young and immature (and kind of irritating) and the older, way-too-intense crowd. This made it a little harder to just go and have a good time with friends. However, overall, if you're just looking for a place to kill some time or randomly hang out with some friends, it's not too bad.

It's in a pretty chill neighborhood too, with lots of good food around, so there's things to do before and after. Not my favorite place to go, but not the worst either.

BY THE WAY, if you're going after 8 and you plan to play more than two games, buy the all-night pass to make it worth it. The games are pretty short (only about 15 minutes), so you'll probably want to play a couple rounds.

We had a birthday party for our 7 year old and her classmates here.  We had a very good experience.  For the price of the party they included a small private room (the Green room).  They took care of the plates, napkins, balloons and beverages (we chose punch and lemonade).  We had a dedicated 'host' who was terrific.  She even went to the trouble of refilling the kids drinks and offering additional pizza.  They handle the pizza order through dominos when you arrive for the party, so really we just had to supply cake and goodie bags.

The rough sequence was: kids arrive and play in the arcade (as host you can buy some tokens and hand them out which I recommend).  At about a 20 minutes in they do the first laser tag game.  This is followed by pizza, cake, more arcade time and then a final game of laser tag.

I think their arcade could have some newer games, or more in working order so they lose a point for that.

We were extremely lucky that it wasn't very busy on the day of our party so there was no other group in the arena with us and also the arcade wasn't as crowded as it could have been.  As a result the kids (and a few parents) had a great time in there.  The arena is well done and really fun for this 7-9 age group.

ok so i'm a 23 year old female who likes to go to laser tag on saturday nights and "shoot" at boys with my laser gun. can't ask for a greater way to spend saturday night than that! i enjoy it as much as my guy friend does. he's my laser tag partner in crime!

the whole experience is only half an hour. 15 mins orientation for those who've never been there and 15 mins for the game.

i love to play but the real reason i like to go is to listen to the "pros"
who have all these crazy ways of shooting with one hand and stuff like that just cracks me up! those boys were schooling me in laser tag! made me chuckle.

one time i went when a bday party was going on a the parents were helping the lil ones out and of course i showed no mercy and took advantage of them! hey...all's fair in love and (laser tag) war, right??

once i went and there were too many people playing. it was IMPOSSIBLE to not get hit, which makes the game suck!!! they should only allow 5-7 people per team (there are 3 teams). it gets too crowded inside. you might as well just stand around and let people shoot you.

it's fun and you get a little cardio workout from running around. (even though you're not supposed to run.)

Yeah! a place I can take my son and know that he really enjoyed himself.
Okay, I had fun too. If you never did laser tag, than here is the place to not only be a kid, but get a good workout.
The video games are pricey, so expect to have $5-10 for just the games, but  playing laser was a lot of fun! Especially for someone who is not into playing games. A great place for kids and adults!
I just took my staff for our Holiday party here with a private room and two games of laser tag. I have to say, the customer service and the set up was just like how we do it at my spa. They were attentive and our party coordinator Richelle was energetic and always there for us. I really like the fact Mauro, the GM took the time to introduce himself and to make sure we were happy. It was sooo fun, my staff could not stop raving about the party and hope we do this next year. My husband made me call them the following day to book his staff for their Christmas Party.

I take my son here almost every weekend.  He loves it!  Warning, it can get really noisy in the lobby/gaming area after each game.  Having parties here is generally pretty cool (Not cheep though), as long the party is not too large (25+).  Two hours of parking are validated at the UltraZone lobby counter.

Lots of fun with a large group of friends. Good course, or whatever it's called. Unlike some places, lasers actually work when you tag someone. Good location because there's lots to eat in walking distance.

if there is one thing i like about laser tag; it is the idea of a pitch-black maze and having a laser gun for the game.
also i totally enjoy thier all day/all night passes for $25
    if you ask me
nothing beats a perfect social outing than infinite laser tag games from 8pm-midnight
    or from noon-6or7pm
    in fact
i totally like playing these games alot
    bottom line is
laser tag=really out of this world fun

This is the place to go if you want to organize a Laser Tag party.  It was awesome.  Not sure how many people you need, but my friend organized her (yes, 29th) birthday party here, and I must say I was surprised at how much fun it is. They give you guys the Laser Tag room all to yourself and even give you soda and balloons.  Oh yeah, BALLOONS baby!!  If you feel like reliving your glory days, come here.  I wouldn't just randomly stop by though, unless you're like 10 years old.

I give them a 4 because the equipment just seems too old. And I give them a 4 because it was a fun experience that made me feel like a kid again. Me and the bf where on the same team but running around like little kids.

My kids had a good time at the lazer tag.  They have an arcade that the kids like.  Nice games and also very fun.  Kids could spend a lot of time here having a great time.
Some of the staff can get a little short with the kids, I wish they had a little more patience, but with the way kids misbehave these days, I don't blame them.

Wow so I just went to a party here last weekend for the first time in 10 years, and it's still a lot of fun. If you've done lazer tag elsewhere, nothing too off-the wall, although I enjoyed the maze and crazy techno they played.  The prices were cheap (I'd recommend getting the $25 night pass since you'll probably want to do at least 3 games when you're there).  If you're over 15, I would only come here with people you already know, otherwise you're going to be playing with lots of younger kids.
