Ultimate Appearance

I brought my daughter to the ultimate hair salon on main Ave in Ashtabula Ohio and she had her first real hair cut here by a wonderful woman named Lisa. She was overly kind and patient as well as talented. My daughter had 9 inches chopped off, which was very bold for a six year old... Let me tell you, "Lisa" delivered!! It looked JUST like the picture my daughter chose when she was finished! We're now very happy we let our daughter choose her own haircut as well!!! You only have 1 chance to make a great first impression! Thanks to "Lisa", found our new hair salon!!!

I was traveling in the Ashtabula area and needed to have my hair colored for a special event over the weekend. I looked up hair salon and found this fantastic salon. Ariele was my stylist and she was friendly, professional and a master at coloring hair. Everyone in the salon was so friendly, the salon is nicely decorated and the customers was conversing so lively! It was one of my best visits to a hair salon!!! You have to try this salon and I can't wait for my next visit! That's right I am going to travel back there from Michigan just to have ariele color my hair again this salon is that great!!!

Great place! The girls are all professionally trained and extremely professional. Jane's (the owner) focus on continuing education and commitment to the community makes this place what it has been for the last 30+years. If you want to visit a classy, clean, and professional salon your in the right spot!

Great hair salon. They had appointments for myself, my mother, and my daughter the same day. We all left looking gorgeous. Susan did a wonderful job.

I have been going to Ultimate Appearance for 7.5 years and I will never go any other place. Everyone in the salon is a blast and great to be around. My hair takes about 3 hours to color (very thick) and everyone makes great conversation with me. Anything from cuts to color to updos for homecoming/prom/bridal/or your birthday celebration- I would highly recommend Ultimate Appearance. I know other clients that come 2+ hours just to get their done.

I have gotten almost every service available here- I come in wanting a new look and no preference in cut or color and my stylist always turns out AMAZING work. My updos in high school were the best.

These stylists are continually educating themselves- they go to NYC, Chicago, and California a lot! I always try to find out when they are fresh from a class so can get a new technique performed on my hair. From crazy cool updos, to a new thinning technique (my hair is ridiculously thick and getting it thinned a lot is so helpful), to a new way to have color applied....these ladies know what they are doing.

The owner takes pride in making sure her stylists are doing top notch work. There is a new stylist that's about to start full time that has been under everyone's wing to learn and learn and learn.

Honestly, when I get married these ladies will be doing my hair no matter where I get married and how much it takes for me to get them to me!

Amazing place!

As a first time customer I had a great experience. Staff is extremely proffessional. Salon is very clean. They offer a wide variety of services and even were open on new years eve. Chrissy was my stylist and she did an awesome job! Exactly the cut and color I wanted! I will definetly be going back! Even get bonus pts for prebooking!

Have been coming here many years- Jane and her staff are the best, hands down! Great friendly atmosphere and always a great cut or color. You won't be disappointed!

Most of the time I have gotten a same day appointment. The salon is clean and the staff knowledgeable. I have been a client for over 5 years.

Terrible!!! They destroyed my hair. Erin is the idiot who cut my hair FIRST. I told her 2 inches, my hair is now shoulder length from being long right above my butt. Then since she could not finish cuz she had no idea what she was doing, the owner had to step in and made it worse!!! Don't go there!! They don't know what they are doing. I'm surprised they are still in business!!!! I left crying!
