We only stopped here because we were looking for a restaurant and figured we could stop in for a tasting, too. Unfortunately by the time we finished our weird, subpar tasting, we had missed the cheaper "light side by the lakeside" menu and ended up passing on the $30-an-entree dinner menu. It was kind of a waste of time. The guy who took our $2 a person for the tasting seemed to know very little about the wines; he couldn't even identify grape varieties. Not only that, but he just stared at us after putting down the list of wines. Where most places will lead you through, this guy just waited for us to request what we wanted and remained silent the rest of the time, making for an awkward experience. Its like, make some suggestions, man! Also the wine sucked. But it did have a lovely view.
