    I've been working out with Ty since 2009.  I've learned so much from her about mobility, stability, speed, power and efficiency.  All very key components to being a better competitor and to living pain free.  In addition to her expertise, she's incredibly passionate about her work and helping people reach their goals.  I swear I'll be able to string together toes to bar before the end of 2011 because of her.  (trust me, this is not easy for me)

    Ty is an amazing trainer. She has extensive knowledge of biomechanics and physiology. She is very motivational and knows how to get you to your goals while still customizing the workout to how you feel on the day, how your body is feeling (and what you've been doing to your body while not training with her), and what your ultimate goals is.

    Ty is also one of the friendliest, funniest trainers (and people) I've ever met. A true joy to have her kick my behind into gear.

    I've worked with a number of trainers.  When I work out, I want to work hard...I don't want to be coddled.  I told this to Ty and she kicked my ass....and I love her for it.  She's worked with me through torn rotator cuff surgery recovery and a back problem.  She has an excellent understanding of physiology and body mechanics and understands how to give you a good workout without irritating existing injuries/problems.  

    I've also worked out with her when I've been healthy.  (really)

    Ty is great about assessing your weaknesses and working to improve them.  She pushes you at just the right pace.  You will see your body firm up and your balance improve.

    I started working with Ty to get in shape before my wedding.  It was such a great investment!  She not only helped me lose weight and tone up , but also specifically focused on helping me with my scoliosis.  Every workout was different, so Ty made sure that I was getting the most out of our sessions.

    Ty trains out of AXIS performance center in Menlo Park and she totally rocks.  She's into customizing an adapting routines to target muscle groups that need the most help, and has also helped me through physical therapy after knee surgery and foot damage after a motorcycle accident.

    Since I tend to be one of those people who needs a lot of focus -Ty did a good job of keeping me there. She helped me get in shape for my wedding and maintain afterwards.  Ty is knowledgeable and understands the body very well.  She pushed me further than I thought I was able to go.  I was able to increase my endurance.  Ty is creative in coming up with different types of exercises to keep the workouts interesting and moving quickly.   She also has a good understanding of the importance of a good nutrition to maintain all the work I did during training sessions.   She's a got a no-nonsense approach to workouts and is a great motivator.

    Ty is fun to work with and really wants you to succeed.

    She works hard with you to meet your goals and makes you step up to achieve the best you can. She will tailor the plan for you but also keeps improving that so you don't get lazy or keep growing.

    One thing that particularly impressed me was her understanding and careful use of "form". If the form is bad generally (due to lazy trainers) the progress is slower or not as good in muscle tone and the end result from training.

    Finally, she is a really nice and genuine person who cares and that's not the case with everyone in the personal training business!

    Ty is a great trainer.  She helped me complete my marathon last year.  I had knee trouble and she helped me overcome it and finish the race!  This year I'm attempting a triathlon, so she'll have her work cut out for her.
