It was a rainy Sunday afternoon and who knew that the line to this soft serve ice cream joint was backed up a mile long... There were so many people at the order windows, it looks as if they were giving away free ice cream. Ironically, everyone was standing there waiting calmly and patiently for their turn to order one of the best and cheapest soft serve ice cream!
Their flavors are are very basic, nothing outrageous like ben and jerrys etc... vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint.... Although I've never grew up with soft serve ice cream but somehow this brings back the basic to wholesome goodness.
$2.80 for a large chocolate dipped waffle cone with peanuts filled with flavored ice cream that is just the most buttery and creamy tasting in my mouth! Definitely love at first licked! teehee

I love soft serve ice cream! Given my inability to easily digest anything dairy, I guess I shouldn't consume too much of these creamy confections. Yet on occasion, indulging oneself with a good ole' soft serve vanilla ice cream cone is definitely worth the accompanying stomach pangs.
I may be partial but Twistee Treat in Ocoee (where I grew up) was a childhood favorite of mine and still is my choice ice cream joint. Here they have anything from malts to banana splits and you can choose from a rather vast array of flavors and toppings. The soft serve is super creamy and it's not too sweet. I'd have to say the best part about it- it won't cost you more than a couple bucks! Yum =)
There is just something about eating soft serve ice cream from a place shaped like a ice cream cone. Twistee Treat is an Ocoee staple and usually packed on weekend nights. The ice cream is wonderful and bring back childhood memories. They have various cones, dips and toppings to try. They are also much less expensive than the scoop-able ice cream stores.
