After spending the entire day out and catching a movie, we were pretty hungry and wanted to try someplace new.

We drove around for a bit before spotting Twin Dragon and decided to give it a shot.  It was a little late (9:30) but they are open until 10:15 and had no problem seating us that late so we went for it.

The tea came promptly and was nice and hot.  The service was fantastic, attentive and friendly.

We tried the special dim sum appetizer they have for Chinese New Year.  It was ok, nothing special but not terrible, I would give it a miss and try the egg rolls next time.

Next up we had the Dragon Phoenix and the Curried Coconut noodle bowl.  Both of our main dishes were fantastic.  The noodle bowl was a more than generous service size and provided me with breakfast  the next day as well.  The Dragon Phoenix was a little on the small side but was so full of chicken, shrimp and delicious flavors that we felt it was still a good value.

The one star off is because they were closing out the til while we and one other table were still being served which meant that there was about a 10 minute delay in processing our credit card.  Not a huge deal, but it would make more sense to wait until everyone was done to do that last step!

We will definitely return here again, however after reading the other reviews, I think we will stick to dinner and skip the lunches.

We've eaten here twice now, once dining in and once take out, and they have both been positive experiences.  The restaurant is very clean and the service excellent.  The food has been good across the board also.  In the 2 times we have eaten here we got Crab Dumplings, Wonton Soup, Potstickers, Kung Pao Chicken, Sesame Tofu and Chicken and Yushang Pork.  All have been good.  My only complaint was last night with the Yushang Pork, the dish was light on pork...could have been more.

Other than that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Some friends took me here recently and I fell in love with the place! I had a 'Fusion' dish with rice noodles and chicken on top. The sauce was just right and had a hint of ginger which I love!Other noteworthy dishes was the Sesame Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, Ginger Ice Cream and many others I am sure! Staff and management was very friendly. I am definitely going back here!

Simply stated, this is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Denver. i've been to many as I LOVE Asian food. The menu is broad with many Asian influences incorporated into the entrees. Everything is so flavorful and the ingredients are fresh. the service is prompt and friendly. Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Twin Dragon is my regular Chinese place in Denver. We go here about once a month or so, and are usually quite happy, though we always order the same thing: won ton soup (really quite good), cream cheese wontons (a guilty pleasure), pork lo mein, and sesame chicken. They also serve a complimentary pot of tea, and mine has never been cold or even lukewarm, I usually have to wait for it to cool down a bit before drinking.

The service has always been great here, they are always very attentive without being in your face, the drinks are always refilled as needed. The owners visit tables to make sure you are happy, and you can tell that they run a tight ship. The decor is not ugly, but it's not fancy, either. Just the standard bamboo, room screens, jade art, and red everywhere. Right now, it's Christmastime, and the restaurant has some lights and a little garland, but it's not over-the-top or tacky. The restaurant is always very clean when I have eaten here.

Last night we went and decided to order crispy duck instead of the pork lo mein. I do NOT recommend their duck, it is very tough and stringy. It may have been an off night for that, and since my regular meal is yummy, I am not going to deduct stars for that. I really would give this place 3.5 stars, but I think it leans more towards 4 than 3.

Well, I heard this was a decent Chinese restaurant from someone who eats there about once a month.  It is okay.  For starters, the place is actually clean and the decor isn't tacky.

We ordered lunch there the other day.  Tea wasn't even tepid -- more like room temperature.  A diner at another table complained about the cold tea as well -- and the fact that she was served pork instead of the tofu she'd ordered.

Hot & Sour soup is a good indication of the overall quality of a Chinese restaurant's cusine . . . and Twin Dragon's Hot & Sour soup seems to come from a powdered mix . . . and nothing says "we just don't care anymore" like the addition of canned peas & carrots.  Very disappointed in their soup.

All lunch entrees come with soup and "2 appetizers" . . . what bullshit.  Appetizer #1 was the standard greasy crisps with a shallow dish of bright red duck sauce, to be shared between both of us.  Appetizer #2 was -- I shit you not -- a PORTION of an egg roll!  I've been to over a hundred Chinese restaurants and I ain't never seen such a thing in all my life!  Stingy bastards cut an egg roll into 4 or 5 slices, and we each get one li'l piece as a "garnish."   What's an eggroll typically cost?  A dollar?  And get this -- the eggroll wasn't even very good.  Just shredded cabbage in breading fried in month old oil.

Ordered one of the specials -- the Asian BBQ ribs -- and got a measly 4-bite portion.  My girlfriend got the orange chicken, which is basically general Tso cooked with marmalade (of which I ate half to avert starvation).  Service sucked too.  Asked for extra napkins and was brought ONE.

Stingy, stingy, stingy.  And the other diner who complained about getting served meat in her vegetarian dish wasn't comped either.  At least the food was edible and we didn't stick to anything.

The Boyfriend and I decided to be spontaneous and try something new tonight, and after twenty minutes of driving aimlessly down Broadway looking for something exciting we settled on Twin Dragon.

The tea was hot, and I was very impressed by the service. Our waitress was very pleasant and completely tolerant of our incessant questions about the menu, and the manager dropped by to greet us and point out  his favorite things to order. Of course, his choice was the most expensive thing on the menu - I wonder why?

We played it safe in a new environment and ordered the Pan-Fried Potstickers, the Orange Peel Chicken, and the Yushang Beef. The portions all seemed very generous to me, and I was very impressed with the flavor of the food. The beef was tender and savory, and I was /very/ excited that the Orange Peel Chicken had a good amount of heat in it. The Potstickers were wonderful as well.

Now that I trust the place, next time I'll have to try something a little more adventurous!

I've been eating here for more than 10 years. I've always been happy with the food and prices. The service has always been good, though the decor leaves something to be desired.

I've decided never to return to this restaurant because of the way the owner treats her wait staff. I had a new waiter the last time I visited. He was attentive to my needs and refilled the water glass immediately. The owner, however, was watching him like a hawk and shouting directions to him.

He undercharged me for the meal and the owner caught the mistake after they rung up the MasterCard charge. After I signed the authorization, the owner crossed out the waiter's tip and retotalled the bill to compensate for the mistake.

While the meal ended up being less expensive than planned, I was appalled at her treatment of this waiter. I also believe she committed fraud by changing my authorization AFTER I signed it.

I called MasterCard when I got home but decided not to pursue it.

This place seems to have mostly pretty good reviews so I overlooked the bad ones and ordered lunch from them today.  I tried their Tangy Crispy Shrimp and was seriously disappointed.  They have some nerve charging $8 for a lunch special like that.  I'd pay $5 maybe but they try to appear high end by charging $8.  I could have gotten the same slop at some by the scoop place (I'm pretty sure, though I've never been to one)!  There was nothing crispy about my shrimp, maybe they were crispy yesterday or the day before, but today they were Soggy.  So were the skimpy 1/4 of an egg roll and strange little pork thing they gave me as the appetizer portion of the "special." I really agree with Clint J. when he says: ". . . and nothing says "we just don't care anymore" like the addition of canned peas & carrots."  Bleh.

Good everything if you're in the mood for Chinese food!  Eggrolls, noodles, traditional dishes and soups, all are amazing.  Great flavor, portions and quick delivery!   Highly recommend it!

I liked it. The owners seem to really want you to enjoy it, and offer good service.... almost too good. Lots of good vegetarian options. It's very good.

Finding great Chinese food around Denver isn't too difficult.  But finding a Chinese restaurant with great food and a great dining atmosphere can be difficult.  The Twin Dragon has both.  The staff is very friendly, the dining areas are comfortable and clean, and the menu is loaded with options.  Besides the typical dishes, they also offer lobster, salmon, bass, and several varieties of duck.  They also have a Tiki bar that serves up all the silly drinks in silly glasses.  The Twin Dragon has been in business for over 30 years because they are among the best.
