I've been playing rec league coed softball this spring and this is a great park - vastly preferable to the one on Beneta Way. The grass is thick, the lines are clean, the lights make you feel like a pro. The bleachers don't feel precarious and the parking lot is huge! (As an aside all the umpires are stellar. They love the game, they love being there, they're fair and keep the mood light but still competitive - hats off.)

Tonight a guy on my team hit a ball that rolled all the way into the street (Robinson). I don't know how often that happens but I'm not sure the passing cars knew what to do! haha. I am excited to try these tennis courts someday as well.

    Great Park, friendly & safe

plenty of space to play all kind of sports, 2 full Basketball courts , 2 huge fields could for soccer or football, 3 baseball playgrounds, 2 or 4 Tennis playgrounds I'm not sure!
    kids play ground,

I started playing soccer here, every Wednesday, & comparing to other fields in the area, the grass is not in a great shape, and no goals kinda sucks,

The best thing about this park that its Well lit at night, & the Gatorade vending machines. I recommend this park for sport activities after the sun goes down.

Pretty nice clean park.  Tennis and Baseball/Softball fields.  I used to come here when I worked for my last company!  I take away a star because they don't have handball courts.  Booo!  All good I know parks cater too what the area likes and most around don't play that, but I would think they still would cause Irvine people do like Raquetball.  It's the same courts pretty much.

Nice place to jog, play, but not really sure about picnics and bbq's?  Don't remember seeing much of that going on.

This is the spot where we were:
IRVINE/TUSTIN SOFTBALL 2001 CHAMPIONS BAAABBYY!! hahaha

This is a great park.  The Soccer fields are nice and get well managed.  It has 2 good basketball courts that also get well taken care of.  Also baseball fields, outdoor party area, large walking track that goes around the whole park, 6 tennis courts....it's got it all!

You can find pickup basketball most nights during the week and on the weekend mornings.  Pickup soccer games throughout the week.  The track around the park is always pretty popular with walkers and joggers.

I've been coming here for years for all of the above and keep intending to.

    Hey, guess what?! I'm 25!

You know what that means? ...Fucken Nothing. ..

When i was 21 though, oh man I had charge I was important because I was assistant coach to the Boys and Girls Club Soccer Team. I've decided to review this park, because its the only time we actually got a win (regardless that we were named " Clay Potion" WTF?!)

One thing about this park is that is is huge. I read (made up) a story that once a kid got lost here and they found him 4 years later following Phish around making granola Necklaces.

When I was a coach, parents probably assumed that I was purposefully telling the kids "I  talked to the ref and, for the next five minutes, we get a point every time we blow all the seeds off a dandelion in a single try." or "Now, Ricky, we're all about to make assumptions about your future sexuality, so make sure to run that way we practiced"

"Franky , Nice aggression. I support your decision to give that kid a bloody nose, and you should resolve conflicts similarly at school and at home."

This park reminds me of the park I used to run at back at home (Almansor in Alhambra), but it's not the same.

Been running/training here a lot lately.
I like the running around this park because it's pretty peaceful, very family oriented, and I feel safe =)
Theres always stuff going on, like lacross training, baseball games, kids playing soccer, and people playing tennis.
People are super friendly at this park too =)  it doesn't hurt to smile and say hi to your neighbors people!
The only sucky thing is the running trail isn't covered with that shock absorbant thing Almansor park has, so it's just like running on the streets.
Oh! and another reason why i love this park is that theres no creepy people!!! =D

Cool park on the border of Tustin/Irvine.
Great place to meet up for runs or bike rides as they have a big parking lot compared to some of the other parks.
Although if there is a kids soccer league going on the parking can get full.

Park has softball fields and a couple of basketball courts as well and a running lane/ walking lane around the park.

I usually meet up here and run up towards peters canyon and depending on how far I want to run I can expand and or shorten my run.

As a nanny, my life basically revolves around parks.

This is one of my favorites in the area to go to because of the giant shade over the play area. It keeps it soooo much cooler. Also, they have a nice big sand area and a few swings (but on really sunny days, the black seats are too hot to sit on).

There are also plenty of benches for parents/caregivers, and a few trees if you wanna lay out a blanket in the shade.

Another plus is the ample parking. Unlike Pioneer Park, which has, like, 10 spots.

okay.....so i'm in love with this park b/c of the track that surrounds it.  i've been running/jogging/walking at this spot for a few years now and i think it's wonderful.

there are always people playing ball, soccer, softball, tennis, frisbee and more.  there are always cute events around holidays, especially easter when they have the big family easter egg hunt.

there are people walking dogs throughout the day.  my pup loves it hear, as he can also run/jog/walk the track.  tustin also provides doggy poop bags.  very nice.

suffice to say this park is awesome.
