My only regret in visiting this place was forgetting my camera to take shots of their great food.

A good restaurant located in a plaza next to a supermarket seems like an oxymoron but in Tuscany Italian Grill's case: it does exist.

The owner is awesome and he goes around to each table making sure his customers are enjoying their experience. The food is tasty and it's hard to go wrong with any of their menu choices.

I ordered the most basic dish - spaghetti and meatballs - the first time I went. You can often judge how the food will be by judging the most basic and simple dish. Needless to say, it was well seasoned, the sauce was vibrant and pasta cooked to al dente.

My only criticism would be their bread. It comes out in a pool of greasy butter that's quite unappetizing. That minor offense aside, the food is great and an Italian jewel hidden in the city of Woodstock.

My friend, Rick D., has been telling me about the place for the better part of a year. He's told me how good it is...how much he's enjoyed it...how much he was surprised by it. But the planets never seemed to align to let me see for myself. Well we finally went there Friday night (7/3).

Holy crap. That was good stuff. I ordered one of the daily specials, Tilapia with shrimp and scallops. My tongue threw a party for my mouth. Seafood restaurants should come here to learn how to serve Tilapia.

I got to try some bites from other dishes at the table (there were 8 of us there). Everything I tried was tasty. Chrysta and I finished off the meal with Tiramisu. Wow. I don't think that can be topped elsewhere.

Prices are reasonable. Portions are plenty. And the service great. I'll be back. Soon.

Superb! Wow! Now *this* is Italian food! I ordered the Herb and Cheese Filled Chicken and holy OxiClean Billy Mays - it was awesome. My wife ordered Penne al Salmone and it was just as unbelievable. And the meatballs - holy Michael Jackson, these balls were huge and very tasty! This is great food! Two nips up!

Be sure to say hi to the lovely hostess, Tayler! (And guys, she's single, too! She works Fridays and Saturdays. She told me to put this in!)

We will be back! Thanks for a yummy meal for us and our friends!

Better then any chain Italian place out there.  I have been here  countless times and just love it.   The place is kind of hidden in the corner of a strip mall so when we first visited we didn't have high expectations, we were blown away. Now I use it as my measure of how Italian food should be outside of going to Italy.

You name it is is good here. Portion size is huge so I recommending  sharing your main course, adding soup or salad, and saving room for dessert. All the dessert is made in house and its wonderful. They even have a real espresso machine so yes kids you can have chocolate dessert goodness and espresso ;)

Can't wait to go back. I think I am here at least once a month.

So I'm part of the group of Rick D. friends who converged on Tuscany Italian Grill on the 3rd of July. There were 8 of us total, and the food all came out pretty quickly, and even though some of our group were playing musical chairs, no one got the wrong plate.

I enjoyed the Penne al Salmone, and it was delicious, but there was a lot. I would have appreciated the option of a half order, as there's a standing rule of no fish in the microwave at our house.

The atmosphere was nice, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. Loses a star (though wish it was only a half) for the inability of a half portion and because they are so far out! We'd make the drive again, but probably split a dish instead of each having our own plate.

I have been here about 3 times and each time the food is GREAT!!  Their Eggplant Parm. is the BEST I have ever had!  The 2 owners are so nice.  One is in the back over-seeing the cooking process and the other is out in the dining area greeting everyone and being a wonderful host.    We used them to Cater our Fund raiser Event through the Cherokee Assoc. of Realtors on 8-18-09.  Again the food was wonderful.  I highly recommend them , if you want a truely wonderful night eating authentic Italian!

Went back here again last night.  My review still holds.  This place is about as good as you will find anywhere in the United States for true Italian food.

Last night I had their ravioli house special which were homemade ravioli with shrimp, spinach and cheese in a sage cream sauce. You can tell the ravioli were fresh and homemade because the dough was thick and each ravioli looked just slightly different.  These are NOT Celentano ravioli folks, these are the real deal! Their meatballs are excellent as well and nice and tasty if not just a little on the "bready" side (which I happen to like honestly)

We ended the night with this phenomenal dessert which had a crispy wafer cake bottom, lemon creme, whipped cream, 4 small creme puffs and a layer of shaved chocolate on top. Heaven!!!

We had a great dining experience with a waiter named Tom who made great recommendations and really knew the menu very well.  For a great experience here, I would recommend asking to be seated in Tom's area.

We will DEFINITELY be returning again and again to this place.

This place is incredible!  We weren't sure what to expect since it is in a strip mall, and the main attention grabber is a kid with a guitar waving at you on the road...

but man, were we surprised!  Incredible service, personable... willing to go the extra mile to customize your order... and the food is absolutely to die for!  I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Soooo....  one of the challenges of the NW ATL area, much as we like it here in general, is finding non-chain, non-homogeneous restaurants.  One evening we were going to be lame at eat at one of the (many) chain restaurants at Towne Lake, when we saw Tuscany back in the main part of the strip mall.

Generally "strip mall" and "good restaurant" tend to be mutually exclusive - but - we were pleasantly surprised upon taking a chance with Tuscany.  GREAT food - excellent menu selection - serious Italian!  It's cosy, which is fine with us, as we don't have a herd of offspring, but the service was very good.  They have also recently re-arranged the layout a bit, so there's more seating and a little better seating layout.

For anyone looking for a change from the myriad chain options in the area, I would highly recommend Tuscany.  We've been there twice so far, and had an enjoyable dining experience both times.

This is a great place for parents with kids who have good taste  (the food beats Maggiano's, and definitely beats a chain Italian restaurant. But it's not too fancy.)  The staff is family-friendly, but you have to call ahead because there is limited seating for big groups.
On with the food.....
It's all authentic - the real deal.  The menu includes kids' favorites - in names that are easily recognized - along with the fancier dishes.
The wine menu isn't that extensive, as you can imagine.
The best thing about this place is the dessert choice.  They are displayed in front of you as soon as you walk in, and I'm telling you - they make the meanest cannoli cake in the states (it includes an actual cannoli on the piece.)
Again, the staff was friendly and The OWNER, not just the manager, will greet you personally.
Delizioso!
