Had heard lots of good things about their Friday night Fish Fry - and finally tried it. Not quite what we expected. The dining room is quite casual and smalltown homey - okay for a family meal. The fish wasn't very good - my plate arrived without color - very blah. My husband had the buffet with ribs, potatoes and other hot dishes. It was okay - but not great either. Service was nice - efficient but not overly friendly. Monroe really needs more restaurant options - I'm sad this isn't more appealing or we'd make it more of a habit to go there. I doubt we'll go back.
