This is the first doctor I that have met in my life who puts his patients before everything and anything. He genuinely cares for every man, woman, child, (and probably even animal) who walks through the doors of his office. He is beyond brilliant (he can identify an eye disorder in a few informed minutes) and he a wonderful human being. Honestly, you really can't say that about doctors nowadays.
Yes, Judy, his raspy-voiced assistant can be relatively difficult when it comes to scheduling follow-up appointments (she is known to cop an attitude every now and again), but what do you expect for a amazing ophthalmologist who is as high in demand as he is? You can't always get the best dates, but any appointment is worth it for your health. He is experienced in performing a highly complicated eye surgeries (I know this first hand), and can fix common eye diseases in a few days.
Check out the articles about him in his waiting room, and you will get a great glimpse of his heart--as a young, budding physician, he said his goal was to cure the world of blindness caused by diabetes. Dr. Turkish's warm demeanor and overall wonderfulness more than makes up for any appointment-based shortcomings.
Really, he is the best. Ophthalmologist. Ever. And I don't throw around the word "best" lightly.
