I dont write reviews often, but this place is truly amazing.
they have an abundance of bikes, gears, pedals, pumps you name it they have it for all budgets.
Literally, anyone can get into biking here.

whats more impressive than the variety, is the staff.
All the guys here are great, but Anthony is my man.

The staff here are all avid bikers who enjoy the sport, but they will give you advice and tips regardless of your level or ability.

they will literally spend hours with you at no fee until you are properly fitted, and ready for the road.
and i got free tune-ups for 1 year.

I highly recommend this place for any road biker, mountain biker, hybrid biker at any level advanced or beginner.
they will set you up, without breaking the bank.

every single time i've been here i spent less than anticipated.
check it out.

I purchased my first road bike from these guys and not only were they knowledgeable, but, being a newbie to the sport, they didn't make me feel like a moron. They took the time to explain pros and cons involved with certain bikes and didn't pressure me to purchase something more expensive than what was necessary.
I also had a few tuneups done here over the years and they did an excellent job with my sweet baby.
I highly recommend this shop to those new to the sport as well as seasoned riders, I'm sure their experience will be as good as mine was.

Home of my VERY FIRST ROAD BIKE purchase!  As a very proud Italian gal, I was excited to check out the bike shop that boasts the high-end Italian brands... and I came home with a gorgeous Bianchi!  Even though these guys are hard-core cyclists, they didn't even make fun of me for caring so much about the color (pearl white!)!

As a road bike newbie, this is a great shop because they really educated me on what I should look for, how to learn what fits, and had an overall great time picking out my bike.

One minor hiccup- they don't take AmEx!

I'd Send My Sister To Turin
I would know she would be treated fairly and not taken advantage of. I would know that she would get what she wanted not what the guy on the floor pushed on her.
I just bought two new Trek Soho bikes here and Jake and the guys really did a good job with me and my wife. Things were ready when promised the prices were fair and the depth of knowledge was all that I could ask for.
Maybe the guys are direct and no BS but I'd rather have that than less qualified staff any day of the week.
These guys are great.

I took my bike in needing a new tire thanks to all the sun we have here in Denver. I was greeted within seconds. Within minutes they had a new tire & tube on my rim and I was walking out the door.

They were really busy, in fact I did not think I would get same day service, let alone service while I wait.

They have earned my business.

I could write this review with only one word (the word is "AWESOME!"), but they are so awesome that I feel the need to elaborate a bit. I called because Frank, my Nirve bike was acting up. The spring had fallen off of the seat (AKA the saddle), my basket was all wonkey, and I didn't know what to do. Oh the humanity! A damsel in distress! The fellow on the phone told me to bring Frank in and they'd see what they could do. I did just that.

When I walked in the door the guy in the service area greeted me and I told him what was wrong with poor Frank. I said things like "tune up" and "wonkey" and "done broke" and he didn't even judge me!! He greased, tightened and checked out and only charged me ten bucks. Plus he told me what to look for with the things that are starting to wear out. That is what I call friendly service. He was also cute, so that never hurts. But, on the serious side everyone that I came in contact with at Turin was really nice and super helpful, so I would recommend taking your pedal pushers to Turin for some of the best service in town.

Not being a big cyclist, I must have shopped around at almost every bike store for a decent simple bicycle.

Turin carries all quality brand bicycles and their staff is very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful (I bought from Allan who was great).  They knew exactly what I needed (what I didn't) and was very honest -- it actually saved me a quite a bit of money.  I love my bike.

Their service/maintanence counter was speedy, thorough and very courteous.
Turin is definitely a popular and busy store, but the staff did their best to help serve everyone.

I came here looking for a specific disc-brake mount for my single-speed fork. The cashier literally just glanced at the fork and immediately found the part I needed for a reasonable price. They didn't have the bolts/mounting components, but they suggested another bike store across town. (ACE hardware did the trick). I found the staff to be friendly, even if they did make fun of my makeshift rear brake mount. They chatted about some trails in the area, and overall seemed like great folks.

I visited three other bike shops before finding this part, and Turin was probably the most helpful and friendliest of them all.

Don't know why there is so much hate.

Got a pair of Trek 1.2s here two years back and they have always been good to me.  Friendly and fast.

Maybe I can see the hate, the store is expensive (I don't buy things here) and I still don't really know what they do during their tune up (bike came back still dirty), but they have been decent to me overall.

Plus for having an air compressor out front free of charge.

UPDATE: I've had better experience at Turin lately. I also know a bit more about what I'm doing now. So there you go.

***

When I first started riding bikes regularly (daily), I didn't really know anything about how bikes work. So, when I heard a weird clanking noise coming from my drivetrain, I decided to take the bike to Turin to have it checked out.  The guy fiddled around with my derailers a bit, charged me ten bucks, and I walked out, convinced that the bike would work.

The weird clanking noise didn't stop. About a week later, a bike messenger friend took a look at it - the only problem was that the chain itself was overgunked, and one of the links wasn't bending. Simple problem, simple solution. I was kind of appalled that a *bike shop* wouldn't catch something that easy.

I've generally had the same problems at Turin that a lot of people report:; pretentious, hasty service that is intimidating to people who don't know anything about bikes and somewhat demeaning to people who know quite a bit about bikes but aren't bike experts. I don't know, maybe it's just more geared toward the high-end bike crowd...people who drive in with expensive road bikes that are always garaged and only used for "serious" riding, rather than people  who are dragging in $75 vintage commuter bikes from Craigslist that are coated in mud from daily riding through the dirty, slushy streets of Denver in the winter.

On a positive note, I've been able to find a really good selection of basic parts - tubes, handlebar tape, chains, pedals, etc. - for very reasonable prices. PINK bar tape! and a fine selection of bike grease.

Overall - Turin seems fine for picking up essential bike parts, but I now go elsewhere for any sort of repairs.

I do NOT recommend this shop at all.. I first thought the attitude I got from the employees here was because I ride a mountain bike instead of a road bike sometimes. I took it in with me when I went to get a helmet and ask about different pedals and they were very snotty and short with me. Talk about the stereotypical bike shop.

Brought the road bike here and their attitude was marginally better. So I probably was not imagining the bias.

I needed them to fix a flat which I know bike shops do not like to do but I was in a hurry and did not have my flat fixing kit with me.
In addition to charging 20$ (it would have been about 10$ anywhere else)  it took the guy longer than it would have taken me to do it - and I am pretty slow! The store was empty at the time, too.

I guess I just do not learn, because I have gone here 4 times and each time receive the same attitude from these guys. I agree with the person below - go to salvageti if you are in the area.

I am thoroughly unimpressed with this shop's selection, their $8 road bike tubes, their overpriced clothing, and their attitude.  This aside, my serious problem was with the service I received while getting a new carbon fork installed on my single speed.  The front wheel, like most single-speed wheelsets, is fastened by nuts rather than a quick release lever.  This new fork had a small flange on the bottom edge, making it impossible for the nuts to be tightened properly.  The mechanic first wanted me to have my front hub changed from a nut to a quick release...costing about $50.  He then thought that he would maybe be able to grind off the flange, but wouldn't guarantee any quality or success in that procedure.  Another customer (not an employee) had a nice, quick, cheap idea:  why not use a small washer on each side of the hub, allowing the nuts to be secured without touching the flange on each side of the fork.  This worked well, solved the problem, and was the price of two washers.  Next...The fork I brought in came with a fancy carbon adjustment top cap, which was somehow "must have been lost" while in the service department.  So bummer, instead of my fancy carbon cap they gave me a normal aluminum one, not the end of the world.  I wheeled my bike out, and as I got to my car I noticed that the front brake hadn't been installed correctly: the nut securing the front brake hadn't been tightened at all.  Instead of heading back into the shop I tightened it myself once I got home.

The only reason I give Turin 2 stars rather than 1 is that they have cool/cute Paul Frank cruisers.

Sorry this is a long one......so I wish I would have read these reviews before going here ;( We stopped in first a few days ago to look at beach cruisers to get around downtown this summer...the guy we talked too (forgot his name dang it!) we pretty nice and helpful, but we weren't ready to buy that day.we returned to buy them yesterday and he wasn't there.

What a 180 in a shopping experience..this guy Steve (made sure to get his name!) had less personality than a rock, didn't seem to know much about the bikes and kept having to ask others for answers..we already did most of our research so not too annoying at this point...

So we test rode them and at 4:20 we decided to purchase them. Steve told us to walk out of the store with them by 5 when the closed, we needed to get going on the  purchase so the bikes could go back for the tune they do to make sure the bike is perfect before leaving.

At that point we're thinking, "cool, nice they do a little tune before they leave"  It was getting cold out, so my husband rushed home to get us jackets and tennis shoes so we could ride them home as they wouldn't fit in the car we were in, and at this point the guy hurried us to make sure we could leave with them. This is where is goes down hill fast, no pun intended.

I had the money for the bikes in my business account and needed to transfer it to my personal account, unfortunately my accountant wouldn't qualify bikes as a business expense ;-)  I didn't know one of the account numbers off hand, and she asked me a verifying question that my husband knows so the transfer was taking forever. So instead of getting the bikes back for their check up he just sits and stares at me....
So the clock is ticking and at 4:45 I make the transfer, pay for the bikes and he tells me there's no way we can walk out with the bikes today because "it's now 4:45 and the techs have been working their butts off all weekend, its a Sunday and they won't stay late." What???? I'm sorry, but my husband has now rushed home so we can ride them home, you hurried our sale and now we're not walking out the door with them? Well, at least I'll have a jacket for the ride home in a car now!

I couldn't believe it- I'm sorry but  in college I waited tables, and if you served food until 10 and someone sat down at 9:59 you still served them, with a smile and unfortunately you might not go home until 11 or later....ya, it sucked but that's how you paid your bills! that's how business goes! I'm a photographer, sometimes a shoot takes long than anticipated for any list of reasons and I don't just put my camera down at 8hours, even if I've been shooting my butt of the past few days!

So after that, I said, ok can they be done by 10:30 tomorrow because my husband has to leave for a flight at 11 and I'm talented, but I just can't ride two bikes home at the same time...he talked to the tech guy and came back saying "they'll be done by noon". I said to him" are you serious, first we buy TWO bikes, which we are told we would leave with today, now it's tomorrow, and not even first thing tomorrow, and you can't help us because we can't get them home after a certain time?"  He said " that would mean they would have to stay late... and they've been working their butts off (same horrible response)...and if your husbands out of town what does it matter anyway?"  What the he** kind of answer is that?? we could be leaving for Tahiti for a month, so what!...you said we'd walk out with them, and just because my husbands gone tomorrow, I might still want to ride mine that I just paid for and my husband rushed home to get jackets for!

I guess, I'm just shocked at their lack of following through with what they said, and maybe I'm crazy, but if I by a bike at 4:59 I should be able to leave with it-right? Maybe it's because they are cruisers, and not $3000 road bikes, but if you read my dog savvy review, they stayed TWO HOURS after closing brushing my dog (on a sunday!) and that was for $100.00! and it was our fault he hadn't been in forever and was a hairy beast! they just wanted to do a good job and make sure he left looking good since their name was on it! And what...for 2 bikes, and saying we'd leave with them you won't stay an extra 20-30, when it's your fault you didn't get them working on them at 4:20 when we said we wanted them!

They only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of one is because the first guy was nice, and I like the cruisers we bought.

The products in this bicycle shop give it the only stars for this review.  The employee's and the customer help should be written up to the better business bureau.  I can't stand the employee's here.  I showed up the minute it was sched. to close and they shut and locked the door in my face and locked it.  That made me upset, but then they continued to talk behind the glass to each other and laugh.  I just needed a tube....ridiculous.  Oh yeah, and I walked about 10+ blocks with my bike on my shoulder to get there.  Shitty.  I'm going to start going to Salvagetti Bicycle Workshop; 1234 Speer for my bike supplies.  Do yourselfa favor and don't shop here.

Awesome!  Someone stole the seat off my beach cruiser and no one sold those poles that holds the seat up!  Turin came to the rescue and even installed it alongside a new set of pedals.  Good looking staff who seem very knowledgable and are helpful.

We've bought 3 bikes there in the last 3 months.  The first was for my daughter for Christmas, and despite us going during the holiday shopping season the staff was really patient, informative and listened to what we wanted.  The second bike was a different sales person (only because our original sales guy wasn't there) but we got the same attentive service.  The 3rd bike, for my boyfriend who is an avid mountain bike guy, was going to be pricey no matter where we went.  Because of our good experiences we went to Turin and go amazing service.  They had him try several other bikes than the one he was really keen on just so he could be sure.  They took plenty of time to discuss the upgrades the manufacturer had made to the bike since the last time he'd bought that model.  They were super helpful and really listened to us and our needs.  If you want a nice bike and really knowledgable service go to Turin.

this place blows.  many bicycle stores have staff that think they are god's gift to cycling, this is one of those places, full of attitude.  maybe it was just the guy I was dealing with, but he left a bad impression.  A more friendly, accessible bike store would be Campus Cycles over by DU.
