Tuna town is a great blend of excellent service, food, and an awesome atmosphere. I frequent this restaurant about once a month, and never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table in the evening, especially when the sushi bar is requested. At about 1030 the restaurant turns into a little night club. The sushi is of high quality without the fishy after-taste- baked crab hand roll is the best! Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Hmm -- there seem to be a lot of opinions on this place.  I've gone at lunch time, weeknights and Saturday nights and always had good service.  The wait staff are always friendly (and attractive) and very good at what they do.  As far as wait, have some of you not heard of the concept of "making a reservation"?  I've never waited.  And when I have come in without a reservation, a simple smile and being nice to the hostess goes a long way.

Anywho, let's get to the food.  Their sushi isn't cheap but it is GOOD --- fresh and nice portions.  They also have great bartenders and I've had had some damn good martinis (e.g. dirty martini) there.  The friends who introduced me to Tuna Town no longer live here and they would order a lot of "hidden menu items" that I didn't pay attention to.  That said, the most popular and BEST hidden menu item is the "Bullshit Roll"... I won't give away what it is but I guarantee you will love it.

The other roll I love is the flaming Hot Tuna Ju Ju Yaki roll --- order this roll if you want to impress a friend or date, lol.  Also, the Crouching Tiger roll with Tuna and Shrimp Tempura is out of this world great.  In fact, I have to say Tuna Town does a really good job of creating interesting rolls and the presentation is nice.

As far as the environment, the place is owned by members of Korn and the music is loud, but almost every time I've been the place is packed so it works.  I'll take this over your typical strip center sushi place.

I used to really love this place like 5 years ago. Now it seems a lot more trashy - employees, people eating there, the entire restaurant as a whole.
Not impresed anymore, there is an obvious change in quality - for the worse. Sushi was borderline "will I be sick in the morning if I eat this salmon sashimi?"
Waitress had att-it-TUDE.
Bathrooms are kinda nasty too. Won't be dropping any hundreds on this place again; definitely a has- been sushi place.
Nice booths though...

Atmosphere's pretty nice here and the foods good too

tons of fancy schmancy rolls to pick from if you're into all that, I'm a purist =)

One thing I'm not a fan of though is the blaring music at night.. it's so loud I can't hear myself think!  and it can get super crowded too

I'd say I prefer Sushi on Fire a little farther down the street, but they're getting to be the same way :(

can't I just eat my sushi in peace?!

I agree with the last reviewer about enjoying the atmosphere alot more then the food. It is really nosey and crowed on the weekend and everyone is drinking and having fun but the quality of the food is sub-par and it nothing really special. The sushi itself isn't the freshest one and some of it was pretty bland. This is more like a Rock & sushi place but please don't expect too much from the sushi.

Our family had teppan lunch in tuna town. At first a cute white guy was to start to serve our table. I was very surprised, cause I've never seen a white teppan guy in my life! I thought I have to tell this to my sister who owns a Japanese restaurant in Orlando.  A cute talkative white teppan man would be a hit, I thought. He brought us everything for our table, then came a real teppan guy to my surprise! This teppan guy was a Mexican. Actually I've never seen a mex-teppan either!. He was very quiet, not much of talking or joking. Fried rice was with too much of soy sauce. Shrimp was shrimpy. Steak was so so. Overall I would never go there again level. The place was nicely decorated with shiny plastic chairs and all.  Was loud..

OKAY... I always pass this on my trek down Main Street.  I know always it seems like a sushi place that probably would disappoint me.  Im a picky sushi eater and well, this screams it.

Sunday morning turned out to be lovely and what we love about living in Huntington Beach, just perfect.  We went there because we saw they offered breakfast and really didnt want to wait in line anywhere else.  Seriously, if you know Main Street.  The breakfast joints that are truely good, have a LONG wait.

So, we decided to check it out... they put us in the back booth area, which I must say, the waiter pretty much just leftt us for a good 15 minutes.  The bartender eventually had to come and take our order.  How ridiculous!  I was craving breakfast so I got the Pancakes and Eggs.  Hubs got a Fish Sandwich.  He was extremely impressed with his sandwich and I enjoyed my pancakes and eggs with bacon.  It also came with fruit and potatoes.. I couldnt even finish half!

from 11-2, theres $1 Mimosas and $2 Bloody Marys..  pretty good steal, but from the looks of it, I don't think the sushi was great.  We saw someone send theirs back while we were eating.  Hats off to the bartender for being a great waiter!  It wasn't even his job!

My friend has been here a million times and swears by the oyster shooters.

The oyster shooters are a beast of its own. Here, it's a shot glass with vodka, a HUGE oyster [which should have been cut into 2-3 pieces but weren't], radish, soy sauce, siracha, and lemon.  I did not agree with the siracha. I requested my mandatory Tabasco sauce, extra lemon, and more soy sauce. The shooter was delicious....but it was bc i made it my own. My friend swears that the older Japanese chefs made the best shooters, more like the way I make them. Since I had to fix my shooter, i took off a star.

The sushi chef was new and didn't know what he was doing. He was super nice and tried really hard, but I'm sorry, he just messed up all the orders. I want the Asian ninjas when I sit at the sushi bar, damn it.

We ordered all shashimi. One order of toro [fatty tuna], one order of hamachi [yellowtail], an order of maguro tataki [tuna tataki], and an order of the Hot Tuna Ju-Ju Yaki (Served Sizzling), and 2 oyster shooters to finish it off.

The toro was $20 for one order. OMG. It was not cut correctly, and it fell apart into mush in certain places, but it still tasted good. The hamachi was $14 but they give us 8 pieces, all well cut and tasted delicious. The maguro tataki was ok i thought, but my friend loves it. Its seared on the rim with pepper.  The Hot Tuna I could have done without. It's $14 dollars and the flames are cool, but it was overcooked and tasted like sausage to me. No bueno.

The chef made us raw oysters before the shooters and we were like no, we didn't order this, we want shooters. He gave them to us anyway, but then charged us!! I was not happy with that since I didn't enjoy it that much [not enough tabasco or lemon] but since he was trying to hard and the head chef came out to make our shooters, I forgave him and just took off another yelp star.

If i come back, I'll check to see if the Japanese sushi chefs are there before agreeing to sit down. If not, I'll be heading to Sushi on Fire next door.

NIGHT CLUB ONLY!  I have never eaten here.

First of all, my husband was out drinking one night with a buddy and they were approached by some girls and asked if they want to got to Tuna Town.  They didn't know it was a restaurant/club, they just thought the girls were being VERY direct.....and vulgar :-p.

We came here Saturday night because they had no cover and $3 drinks.   There's a reason they had these specials, the clientele was.....what you'd expect at a place called Tuna Town?  Lots of guys, a few girl groups but the ages were pretty much 21 or underage and 35+

The music was pop for a while then the DJ switched to trance and cleared the dance floor!  The $3 drinks were super weak and gross.

It was very entertaining to people watch though.

I think I like the atmosphere of this place more than I like the actual food.  It's on Main Street, straight across from the Huntington Beach Pier.  There's outside seating which is great for people watching.  Put on your sunglasses and you're good to go.  Inside they play music loud and it's a cool place to hang out.  We stayed outside and took advantage of the nice day.   The menu isn't really Japanese.  It caters more to the American taste of Japanese food.  Grilled yellowtail cheek? Forget it.  Not even any udon.  We ordered California rolls, Crunchy rolls, and salmon cut rolls.  All pretty basic.  And a bowl of miso soup.  All ok, nothing spectacular.  I think it was happy hour or something because our bill was 35% off.  Hmm not bad.

you know, i haven't had the sushi here to be honest.

we sat down and had the teppan-yaki style bennihana experience. i never really had bennihana before, so i admit i was curious. in the end it was just ubber salty fried rice that was drowned in soy sauce.

the hostesses and some waitress were definitely something to look at, but i guess in downtown HB you could hop over to the next place and find the same thing.

i guess its my bias that i dont like teppan style japanese food. i'll have to try the sushi next time...

I am partial to this place because both my roomates worked here so I would constantly get food brought back to me on nice drunken nights.

I see that there are few reviews on here, hating on the staff but let me tell you something. ONE PERSON IS NOT THE MAJORITY.

There are alot of awesome people that work here and I will agree, there are 1-2 girls, and I know their names, that just suck ass and I dont know why they still have a job but hey, its not my establishment and I can get over things easily.

The food is best when you have made a reservation to sit at the bar with your date or friend. If you have a group of friends, get the booth.

The food in my opinion is well above average. This isnt your typical "im just gonna put fish on top of rice and serve it" They go well beyond their duties and ESP if your in front of them, and you buy them a beer which by the way is common courtesy to do. You will find yourself with bigger portions, and even some free samplers for doing so.

Guys! A little bit goes a long way. Your tab is going to be 40-70 for the both of you with drinks and food, so spend an extra $4, get your chef a beer and see what he does for you. Trust me on this. I know what I am talking about. You separate yourself from every other person who think they are owed something when they walk into this place.

On a cool side note. The drummer from Korn owns this place with his ex wife and he also owns the Silvera's Steak House across the street so make it a point to check it out.

Lastly, about the BRO'S. When in BROME. Totally kidding, but seriously, dont let a bunch of dudes who arent even from HB let your night get down. Your big kids, grow the hell up. A few bro's arent going to end your life. You will still live, and have kids probably, who may become little bro's themselves if your very unlucky, but seriously. This is a cool joint and the atmosphere is awesome with rock music playing above your head while you enjoy a nice downtown night.

Used to really like this place.  Very unique and cool for a sushi bar.  It just isn't exceptionally clean which is a red flag for me.  On one occasion I saw bugs at the sushi bar.  They comped my Dad and me so I've returned cuz I'm loyal like that.  The bartenders are good so I'm down with having a few cocktails and the people watching is first rate.  The sushi concept is quite good but I just don't get the warrm fuzzy of a clean sushi restaurant.  They do teppan too.  Mandy rating is a one...she doesn't like it here.

I was very hesitant to come here because of the many bad reviews... many people dont say when they go and they complain about a wait and bad service but maybe it was fri night at 7.... we were there thursday at 5... it was dead the way i like it, a nice girl up front a very nice server and the first sushi chef to ever talk to me and joke with me so i bought him a beer of course, most of the time they just hang out with their regulars and dont give u the time of day, little did they know i would have bought them a beer. So service was great drinks were only 3 bucks on happy hour but the one thing yelpers didnt lie about was the cost... OUCH! 10 dollars for most rolls and special rolls are 15-17, with happy hour u get 30% off all sushi but that still makes a 10 dollar roll 7 when at other places its 7 and on happy hour its half on u know? so none the less we spent 65 bucks, between the two of us and we got 4 drinks and 5 rolls, i thought it was happy hour? lol the sushi was also ok....

Every time I make it into Huntington Beach, I like to visit Tuna Town. It is a fun time to be had by all. I remeber coming to this place when it first opened before Main Street had it's huge makeover. I have such a blast. Love the crouching tiger roll. It is always fun to have people order the Hot JuJu Yaki(SP?) I will come back soon.

Huntington Beach seems to have this theme of mixing night club like environments with sushi.  Well whatever thats ok.  Good place here, seemed to be pretty solid.  My friend got this one cool plate where it comes out on a cast iron plate and they light on it fire... pretty cool!  It was kind of annoying though cause I was really hungry and just wanted to eat but I had to wait for the fire to die out!  We went here for dinner right before we went partying on main street, pretty good place, give it a shot!  I didn't pay for the Bill at all but apparently there were some pretty cheap drinks which is always a plus in my book!

Owner is white and sushi chef is Vietnamese. Don't expect anything authentic. Sashimi is decent. There's the standard plethora of siracha smothered and cream cheese stuffed rolls. Hooks under the sushi bar for purses! Always a perk. Some retired UFC fighter was at the teppan yaki table when I was there with my friends. Friendly crowed. Would try it again.

Cool place. More of a neutral review.

Although, the first time someone told me about "Going to tuna town" I thought it was a euphemism for services they wanted rendered. Let's just say that was an awkward 30 seconds and the expression on my face must have been priceless.

As far as the restaurant, I'll probably never darken their towels again unfortunately. Just not my thing I guess. (Don't get me wrong, I love sushi - their sushi, I just didn't care too much for.)

The restaurant has a fun atmosphere, it looks like a Hard Rock but for sushi.  The service wasn't the best and we had to ask for plates 3 times.  The food is okay, but if you want authentic good sushi, probably should skip this place.   Wasn't bad, but I won't be heartbroken if I never come again

We keep coming back here.  Mostly cause our kids really dig the place.  Last night my 5 year old picked the place, again.  He is a huge fan of chicken teriyaki.  And, I must say, for the kids plate, not bad...

We had some really great rolls last night.  For the first time ever we re-ordered whatever it was that the sushi chef made.  We've gone for teppan plenty of times.  (again, the kids)  The cocktail menu is a plus.

If you are in d/t HB I say give it a shot.  If you have your grannie with you, keep walking.  Loud music, lots of rock-n-roll and, last night a lot of amplified boobs.  :)  The sushi is better than most OC places.  (not including real life sushi bars)

I've been here probably 3 or 4 times and have not had one bad experience.....yet.  But don't get it twisted I can believe that there's been some bad incidents here and there.  Luckily for us (I guess), we have yet to experience it.

This place is in the heart of downtown Huntington Beach...steps away from the pier.  It's always pretty busy when we go there but we usually only go there during happy hour.  You can't go wrong w/ 35% off on food and $2 beers.  For a joint like this, that's pretty good.  I'm telling you right now this place is no "Go's Mart" or "Urusawa"!!  If you're looking for decent rolls, some decent butterfish, and a teppan grill all combined, this wouldn't be a bad place to hit up.

SO FAR, the service has been pretty good.  Our waitresses are always friendly and they haven't ignored us like others have mentioned in their visits.  But I have seen other tables get mad because their food takes too long to come out.  Maybe it's the loud atmosphere or all their wall ornaments that keep me distracted from the delay in service.  Who knows but I have waited longer at some other places so their wait time doesn't phase me at all.  On an extra note about their service, apparently they got in a new sushi chef who was still in training the other day.  Our waitress and the manager felt we waited too long for our rolls so he offered us free dessert or to get us "tipsy"!  We weren't expecting it or even complaining to begin with but it was nice that they offered.

At this point, we're going to keep going until something goes horribly wrong with their food or service.  I enjoy the drive here and I enjoy the fact I can run across the street for yogurt @ Ce Fiore afterwards.  This is definitely a busy, loud, and upbeat environment.  Their food isn't 1/2 bad especially if you're coming on the weekdays between 4-7pm.  I haven't had a bad experience w/ them yet and I hope it stays that way.

Oh, I guess I should mention my favorite dishes here....FYI not all the rolls served are listed on the online menu.

Sake-Miso Marinated Butterfish - Decent portion, not overly sweet like other places and not overcooked.

Beautiful Roll - (You gotta eat it w/ the lemon) Salmon, soy paper, I think scallop, shrimp, and crab.

Yung Blood - Seared filet mignon, tuna, lettuce and I can't remember what else was inside sorry.

White Tuna Sushi - Actually pretty good....the quality is surprisingly good for a place like this.

Some of the dishes we weren't really feeling...

Hot Tuna Ju-Ju Yaki - it's interesting because it comes out flaming and sizzling but I personally like my sushi mostly raw and this dish is practically cooked by the time it reaches you.  Plus, I'm not big on cream cheese w/ my sushi and this has just that.

Lollilop Roll - This roll isn't half bad but the first thing that came to mind was, "I've had this before ...at every other sushi joint I've been to!"  It's just various fish wrapped in cucumber.  The only reason I didn't like this at the time was because the cucumber used was too bitter.

OMG Roll - This roll isn't on the online menu but I believe this is the roll that had cream cheese and strawberries (yes, real slices of strawberries) on top.  It was tuna, cream cheese, I think I tasted shrimp along w/ their spicy mayo around it.  I wanted to like this roll but I'm just not used to eating strawberries w/ my sushi.  I can do slices of mangos but the strawberries made me think of dessert and the fish, shrimp and mayo made me realize I was still eating dinner.

Who do I have to throw my credit card at to get some service around here? It takes forever to get seated, get waters, get menus, get orders taken, to get food... And to top it off, the waitresses are unnecessarily sassy and pick and choose who they'll be nice to - that is, who they'll flirt with if they know they'll get larger tips. Good thinking.

This is another place I wouldn't choose to go to unless I was at work (on Main St.). The decor is hilarious with records from bad 90s bands and a whole lot of KoRn memorabilia. The food is pretty good but nothing spectacular: the spicy tuna rolls are tasty, the tempura is average, the lobster dip is good but the sake is TERRIBLE. Aside from that... if you're willing to spend some time waiting for everything, this place isn't terrible but why you would seek this place out is beyond me.

I've eaten at this restaurant twice.  The first time, I was with a large group and I was wasted from sake bombs.  Because that is what Tuna Town is good for, getting wasted from sake bombs.  It makes conversation irrelevant and the blaring music not so obnoxious.

The second time, I was stone-cold sober.  I just wanted food, and they were serving until 11.  Sort of.  The rolls weren't that good.  I got the Yung Blood, which was like a surf-and-turf meal in a roll but not awesome, the Tomagashi (or something like that) which was spicy tuna overrun with cilantro, and the crunchy roll, which was, as always, reliable and tasty.  We also got the maui wowie, which I typically love at other locations, but Tuna Town cut the albacore way too large and thick for the dish and ruined the effect.  They also were mid-way into transitioning into a nightclub, bringing out the cheesy, overdressed, ill-tempo'd girls in droves - makes for good people watching and a more amusing dinner hour, but doesn't really do much for ambiance.

Service was friendly and fast both times.  But for heaven's sake, someone tell that a-hole in the corner that he can't scratch on an iMac.

I absolutely love the sushi at Tuna Town. After getting sick at a couple other places, Tuna Town is the only place I'll go for raw fish. It blows "Ra" around the corner out of the water. The eel roll and crunchy roll are among my favorite. However I think the tuna sushi is right up there as well, as long as you remember to tell them not to put the wasabi on the rice (definitely not a fan of that). One thing everyone must try is the Tempura Calamari. The spicy dipping sauce tastes like a spicy honey and is what sets the Calamari above the rest.

As for pricing, I don't go unless it's happy hour. Happy hour has a food menu with 50% off selected food items and $2-$3 drinks. Otherwise it could get pricey as with most sushi places, especially being right by the beach. The service could be better and as someone else pointed out does seem to be a bit "snooty or snobby" at times. Wait time for your food can be a little extensive even when slow, but I hope that is chalked up to the time the chefs are taking to perfect their art of sushi and not to the sorority type girls chatting away off in the corner.

The jelly fish in the florescent tanks are fun to watch and the décor of the bar/restaurant is rock n roll due to the drummer from Korn and his wife being the owners. It is clear that they discriminate on looks when hiring here as most of the waitresses are attractive and I happened to see the manager interviewing and taking pictures of potential candidates at the end of each interview.

So if you like sushi and don't want to roll the dice with some of the other places like "Cat Sushi" or pay too much, I recommend going to Tuna Town during happy hour and ordering off of their happy hour menu.

One of the top douche bag hang outs in Huntington beach.  sushi is not that great. more of a general party spot that serves sushi. way better spots around but if you want to spend money and party it up then this is the place to go.

I tend to hit up Tuna Town on Tuesday nights and sit at the sushi bar.  The chefs are very friendly and are usually glad to toast beer & sake with ppl.  I really enjoy the variety of rolls and the sashimi always impresses me.  Want something on fire?  Order the hot tuna ju ju yaki.  DELICIOUS.  I have to get it every time.  I often ask the chefs to make rolls a bit extra spicy or with less rice or extra this or that.  They're very accomdating and don't make me feel like I'm asking them to help me move into a new apartment (in my experience many sushi chefs openly frown on sepcial requests).

One thing that attracts me to this joint is the darker-than-most atmosphere.  However, if you want to have a conversation...  probably not the best place to go because the music is loud, but whatever, I like it.  Oh, and the seating is pretty cramped at the sushi bar when it's full - but I don't mind.  One more sake & I'm good to go!  So, if you value your personal space, I'd suggest getting a booth or table.

Sat at the teppan tables a few times w/large groups.  The chef took a little while to 'warm up' to us, but was great overall.  Yummy stuff!

Drinks are a little pricey - but I sort of expect that at 1/2 the bars downtown.  When I don't want to pay that much for drinks I'll just wait until I make it to a bar down the street.  :)~

I really love their teppan yaki here. Actually, I've only tried their teppan yaki I  have yet to try their sushi their teppan yaki is just too huge of a dinner to add sushi. I really enjoy that they have halibut as a choice. It's different and it's great I love it!! I wish they had a halibut and shrimp combo though. But they do give you a teasing taste of shrimp as an appetizer. It can get kind of loud as I think it turns into a club when you go late at night which is kind of annoying because they play the music real loud and you're try to eat but it's an interesting environment.

2.5 stars at best

When the waiter informed me that Jesus was going to be the one preparing my sushi meal, I was taken aback.. I mean he was after all not only a carpenter but also a "fisherman." He should know his fish! Until he laughed and called out "heh-seuss!" At that moment I had sudden flashbacks of my most recent food poisoning encounter at another sushi bar and nervously skimmed the menu for anything safe.

We decided on the Tuna Tataki Salad and Spicy Tuna Roll Combo.   The Tuna Tataki Salad was basically shredded ice-berg lettuce, tuna drenched in a dressing that they called "oriental dressing" even though it tasted like mayo. Gee I didn't know mayo is a product of the "Orient." The Spicy Tuna Roll Combo came with miso soup and 1 piece each of  Tuna, Yellow Tail, Salmon, Albacore and Shrimp. The sushi was mediocre, luckily no food poisoning. The food was so mediocre that we decided to skip the food and moved on to the booze... hey... it could either go to waste or into your waist...

**NOTE** They have 3 dollars mimosas... Hmmm.. I guess that's the only saving grace

So i'm going to preface this by saying that I am not gay, although if that's your preference that's totally cool with me.

Every now and then, when i've had a bit too much to drink, I like to get crazy and dance with everything, albeit rather poorly at that. Also, when i've had too much to drink, I like to dance with guys at upscale bars because I think it's funny. I've officially been kicked out of this bar for dancing with a guy which I TOTALLY don't agree with at all. I had one too many gin/soda's and was getting my groove on amongst the dirtiest of the dirty in Huntington (this bar is NOT my scene) and managed to come across, maaaybe brush up against, one of the guys who worked there who was cruising the dance floor.. I was immediately told that I was not allowed to "dance like that" and after a few more warnings after being too close to other guys, was kicked out.

I'm giving 2 stars because I was really drunk and probably out of line but I still don't think they should frown upon guy on guy action.

My boyfriend and I went there on a Wednesday for 35 percent off all food, 2 dollar drafts and 1 dollar saki. Was it the best food sushi I have ever had? Not really. But it was good, the atmosphere was good and we were about a 5 minute walk from the end of the pier at sunset. Sold.

Oh, I love Tuna Town. Great Sushi and Teppan tables and a great rock vibe courtesy of owner Jonathon Davis. Their drinks are huge and delicious! (Which always keeps me happy!) Fun at the Teppan tables is all but guaranteed, and they have these yummy chocolates at the hostess table.

All in all, I always leave here toasty and satisfied!

I've been here now about 10 times. Even thought the bathrooms are filthy I go mostly because it's close to home and has a good vibe (decent sound system). That said the sushi has been average at best. This last time was the real finisher though. After dropping 45.00 on drinks at the front bar my date and I decided to go to the sushi bar to actually interact with our chef. Ha Bad mistake. I inquired as to if they had amberjack the chef told me as he was rolling his eyes. "You already ordered yellowtail its the same thing genius" What really? Thats interesting because I have personally caught both fish out of the ocean and eaten them on the boat. He was obviously defensive because he was white and even expressed to everyone at the bar "Oh people see a white guy back here and immediately think I don't know what I'm doing!" Of course his friends who we watched him serve free sushi to all thought that was hilarious. Instead of leaving immediately we said "hey lets start over" and I offered to buy him a beer. We thought we had things back on track until he began to sear our yellowtail sashimi. This is a dish we have had every visit and it was never seared before. We asked to please not sear it at which time he told us "This is how I serve it in MY restaurant!" Well I'm pretty sure he is NOT the owner. Things got worse from there. We had ordered over 100 bucks worth of fish and sake by this time but needless to say we did not stick around. We paid 48.00 for the sake and and one dish we did not even eat. Basically we spent 100.00 and got no fish. My date insisted we tip out because she always liked the waitresses in there. I waited three days before writing this review because I was so disappointed. I hope the owner reads this because the guys is costing her money. We have not spent less than 250 a month in there for the last year. I will go back and if that surly turd is behind the sushi bar I will walk out every time. By the way send him back to sushi school to study up on his fish.

this place was cool, but maybe because we were drunk

sake bombs were $8 i think...not bad
another night we came and i was starving. I believe it was about 10pm so i thought they wouldn't be serving food anymore. However, to my excitement they were. I ordered some generic, safe roll

it was good...dont remember how much it was...drunk yelps dont really work too well!!!

I had a multitude of problems during my visit to Tuna Town and did not enjoy my visit at all.  OK let's start....

They had us wait 15 minutes to sit even though there were more table open than I could count.  They then told us that we had to be done within 50 minutes (7:00pm).  I've never had a place tell me when I had to finish.  My silverware was dirty to the point where I'm sure it never went in the dishwasher after the last customer.  My 2 friends rolls come out at 6:45.  My first item doesn't show until 7:00pm (mind you they wanted us out by 7).  My 2nd item comes out at 7:10.  By then my friends were done where I had just started.  The waiter cleared my friends plates and get this RE-SET THE TABLE WITH US STILL AT IT!!!!!!!
On top of this horrible horrible service, the food was mediocre and best.  OK atmosphere if you are into the whole downtown Huntington scene but that is about as positive of a line I can think to write about them.

Tuna Town-snicker

Wanna go to Toooona Town? Snark ahahahahha

No, I promise it's not a Lesbian bar. Its sushi.-snicker snort- no seriously, not a Lesbian bar.

The prices are moderate, and you can easily rack up a hefty bill, but the service has always been good for me. They've got pretty good sushi here at Tuna Town- teehee

Be forewarned, they can get slammed on the weekends with lusty good looking people trying to get their sushi on in Tuna Town- BWAHAHAHHAHAHA SNORT GIGGLE

Didn't eat here, but it's definitely a chill place to hang out after hours. They have a good area in the middle of the restaurant that's transformed into a dance floor, and lots of hip hop spinning. I thought it was nice considering how HB isn't known for its club/dance scene. It was a good get-away from the usual.

Drinks were medium priced, averaged $8 a pop. Not bad.
