The hotel is awesome!  I purchased the cyber monday deal so we got our room for half off!  It exceeded my expectations big time.  The decor' was spot on...so elegant.  The bathroom was insanely cool - especially the shower.

We ate dinner at Tulalip Bay...it was equally awesome!

The casino was meh...some strange people for sure and lots of smoke but that's to be expected.

Ive gambled here a  bunch of times, I've stayed in the resort about 5 times. If I had a choice, I'd usually pick this casino over Muckleshoot or Snoqualmie because it just seems like a better choice. It has an extremely nice hotel, if needed, and the restaurants, buffet and premium factory stores next door make this the clear choice.

The staff is usually pretty good. I can't say I win in the casino, but it's fun trying.

Something to do in an otherwise boring town, good place to stop in and eat after shopping at the outlets.

The buffet is quite good, but it does lack seafood during the lunch hours, but for the $12 price tag it's more than satisfying.

The table games have very reasonable minimums, some as low as $5 & $10, the only negative is that there are no free drinks for players, I am unsure if it's a WA law or not, but nevertheless $5.75 for a glass of riesling is pretty damn reasonable.

The place is huge and you can get lost, the decor is simply amazing and the stained glass that's everywhere makes you want to stand a stare. The parking is totally free and this place is just off the highway, so it's very accessible.

I played craps for 2 hours one day and I lost about $20, not that bad for hours of entertainment. I never slept over so I am unsure what the prices of rooms are like, but by the look of the lobby and casino I bet the rooms are pricey, maybe $200+ per night.

This is absolutely the most "Vegas-like" of all the Indian casinos I've been to.  The "new" casino (which I think is seven years old now) is well lit, inviting, has a zillion games, lots of table game, several bars and "mini" bars all over the darn place, and what must be a hell of a lunch buffet as we saw about 200 people lined up to get in.

About 45 minutes north of Seattle, but right along I-5, Tulalip is either a short jaunt or a hellacious commute, depending on the time of day and other factors that determine the crap shoot that is Seattle traffic.

Yeah, it can be a little smoky, but if you're going to casino gamble, you're going to deal with that anywhere else too.

Have to say, I don't understand over charging for booze in a casino.  I get it if the law says they can't give it away like they do in Nevada, but $4.75 for a bottle of Pacifico certainly helped me decide if I needed another one.

The hotel next to the casino looks great from the outside and since it's pretty new, it's prolly pretty nice on the inside as well.

It's too far for us to make Tulalip a day trip, but if we were going to overnight up in the area somewhere, this would now be my first choice for a gambling spot.

Like most Indian Casinos there is smoking throughout the casino, which I did not favor, but the air flow was really nice. If your looking for a drink order the Big Daddy drink its really good, it's kinda more like a girly drink, but I saw a bunch guys ordering it too!! Apparently this is the only place that knows how to make it, that I know of anyway!!

Very nice hotel. The showers in the rooms are amazing with three showers heads on the front and back an they are big. The MPulse lounge is a great place to relax with friends and have a drink and in the summer they open up the outside potion of the lounge with plenty of seating.

For my mom's birthday I bought her a gift certificate for a spa package at the Tulalip spa. She enjoyed it for the most part but the massage that was supposed to be 1 hour with the package ended up being only 30 minutes! I don't know about anyone else but when you pay as much as you do for a few hours at the spa you expect everything they promise in the package.   She will not be going back to the spa and I will not be recommending it to anyone else.

T-Spa is the best spa in the Seattle area. The facility is unmatched and it is by far my favorite place to relax and be pampered.
However I am not a fan of their automatic $18% gratuity for spa services. A gratuity is a personal compliment to show appreciation. It should be my decision to gauge how pleased I am with my service; it should not be dictated by the facility. If they are so obviously confident about the quality of their staff and service, they should raise their rates and have a no tipping policy.

All of the smoking aside, this place was super fun. With up and down reviews I was hesitant to pop in. But it was a Saturday night and it was 2am and I was wide awake. So why not?!

With plenty of parking (which is free) I pulled up to the front of an entrance and crossed my fingers that I'd have a good time. As someone who doesn't typically gamble, I thought I'd be willing to throw away $20-30 before leaving. But I had too much fun!

The space is really clean, the machines are bright and shiny, the staff was friendly and there were tons of options. Card tables, slots, you name it - there's a game for you. I played Blackjack for a little bit and wound up $60 ahead. Cool!

Then I wandered off to find a few machines to play and kept the winning streak up. Without crazy expectations, anyone could have a blast here. No I didn't walk out with $5000 but I did leave with more money than when I came in. What's not to love? Even if I'd lost the amount of money I was willing to spend, it would have been worth the trip. With tons of people watching and high energy, I was glad to have finally made a trip to Tulalip. I'll definitely be back!

    OK hotel first -

The rooms are fantastic and if you get the right side on a sunny day you will have a majestic view! This place is very spendy to stay and I have been comped all but 4 times staying here FYI. I have stayed here 11 times and the rooms are always immaculate with the sheets being so clean cool and refreshing that you will sleep great. The shower is the highlight of the room with 3 different shower heads that blast you from all angles massaging you as you shower. Their TV channels are not to exciting but you shouldn't be watching much tv when you stay here anyways.

The pool down stairs is indoor and is very nice to relax and swim a feel laps. The decor in the pool room is breath taking with a waterfall coming down into the pool. It is not deep enough to dive in or have a deep end but is large enough to still  swim in and not be crowded by others. There is also a kids pool and a hot tub in the same room.

Also part of the hotel is an amazing Spa with prices that beat most of the competition of the spas in Bellevue, Renton, and Seattle. Get one massage and you can use the spa facilities all day.

    Food-

There is four areas to eat in the entire resort. First is the Cedar Grill near the hotel front desk. The booths are comfortable and the wait staff nice and prompt. Rarely is it crowded in here. The food is like an upscale Apple bees. I would recommend the breakfast over anything the breakfast burrito or eggs Benedict are both phenomenal!

Inside the Casino next to the Cabaret  there is a small fast food type cafe. Chicken fingers, corn dogs, wrapped sandwiches and a few soups and soda is what they sell here.

Next there is a very fancy, expensive seafood themed restaurant near the middle of the casino right next to the buffet area. I have never ate there but heard it is quiet expensive. The buffet right next to it is kind of pricey for a buffet but if you play enough you can get comped pretty easily. The buffet always has great food and if you have a big party who is hungry I would definitely recommend this place. Great deserts there too.

    Gaming-

The casino it self has every slot that you can imagine. Table games include Black Jack, Texas Holdem against the dealer ( If you want the actual Texas holdem there is a poker room which I will get to in a minute) Pai Gow, Three and Four card poker. Roulette Spanish 21 etc. There is multiple places to get drinks so its not very hard if your looking to just drink and hang out. The circle bar in the middle can get a little crowded especially if it is a weekend night or a big sporting event is on. There are craps tables in the middle but you will usually have to walk to the north end to play depending on how busy they are.

The poker room has tables with 1-3 NL, 3-5 NL, and an assortment of limit games, regular tournaments, high hand bonuses every hour except on weekends and holidays, bad beat jackpots, and pretty much everything else you would expect from a poker room. It is non smoking and has regular bar and food service.

    Entertainment-

There is a dress up  dance club called the Impulse lounge that you should dress to impress if you want to get in and have a good time. Usually it is only good on Fridays and Saturdays but can be fun during the week because it won't be crowded and you can dance with friends without being bothered to much. The bar in there is not to great hard to get drinks most of the waitresses are very bitchy in there.

The Cabaret lounge mostly has cover bands and comedians that play during the week. Sometimes they have older big name stars that haven't played in while on the weekends. Also can get very crowded if its a big name so get their early and expect to wait for drinks.

Parking is always a bitch but if you are smart you will use the Hotel Valet cause its FREE you don't have to be staying at the hotel to use it and it is free though it is nice to tip the guys.

During the summer they have outdoor concerts that can be very nice you can sit on the lawn near by and not have to pay and still hear well.

So this is getting long so I will wrap it up quickly. Yes it is smoky inside but hey its a casino there are non smoking gambling areas, you can't smoke in the restaurants or the hotel so get over the fact that its smoky in the main area. If you couldn't smoke they would lose half their business, yes it might be a little dirty inside hey guess what it is a casino people who gamble for the most part are not the super clean high class people of the world. But for the entertainment food, and the location if you are in the area it is by far the best bet to have a good time.

You're going to need a lot of chips to afford a room at this resort!

Let's not forget we are in Marysville people... Marysville. Nearest attraction?  Outlet mall.  Current going rate for a room at Tulalip? $300-$500 per night. Current going rate for a brand new hotel in LAS VEGAS? $249 and up.  I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

I was here for an overnight birthday party with friends, and we all did have a really great time. The food leaves much to be desired, but they did have Hit Explosion playing in one of their clubs and some of my gambling friends had a lot of fun rolling the dice.

My biggest issue is the food. I needed something quick to start the night and ended up at the Carvery, which is actually just cafeteria style fast food.  We ate at Cedars Cafe in the morning, which was okay but still not great.  The price for Mac and Cheese at their fancy restaurant was $32... are you kidding me?  That better have gold flakes mixed in Goldschlager style!

Some of my friends did win $300 on penny slots, twice, so if you're down for the long drive and the lame food and are lookin to possibly win big then you're gonna love it!

The Tulalip is just okay, in my opinion.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I have had fun and a tiny bit of success here.  Blackjack is probably my favorite thing, but I'm also a fan of the Star Wars slots.  The dealers are nice and are more than happy to help newbies like myself.

The place is usually pretty jam-packed, but you can find plenty of games to play.  Be careful though - there are quite a few games that are broken here (ex: last time, 2 of the 4 Star Wars slot machines were down).

There is a bar area with live music.  It was packed to the brim the one time I've been in there, but somehow we managed to find a couple of tables.  Music is LOUD and drinks are lacking in alcohol, but at least they are cheaper than I would expect.

Hotel rooms are EXPENSIVE.  Some friends and I made reservations to stay in one of the rooms after attending a nearby wedding, but we decided the $265 price tag was too high for our blood and ended up canceling..  We saw someone else's room, however, and, while it was beautiful, I'm still not sure it was worth the expense.

Overall, I usually have an okay time here.  I don't think I'd ever stay in the hotel, but gambling is just fine.

I'm so glad that we live far enough to justify getting a room, but close enough for a 30 minute drive.

The hotel room was beautiful. No cheesy or tacky decor. The bed was heavenly. You can feel yourself sink into the fluffy comforter.

The granite in the bathroom and glass showers makes it feel like a spa.
Sliding pocket doors helps the room feel even more spacious.

The casino floor is very open and well placed. Tulalip has the best and most newest slot machines on the floor.

Eagles Buffet is the place to eat to satisfy any palette. Brunch, lunch and dinner menus have anything & everything you can want.

If you feel like kicking up your heels and burning off calories after dinner MPulse is right there. The patio has standing heaters and fire pit to keep you toasty once you've cooled off.

I love the fact that the resort is right next to the Seattle Premium Outlets.

I'm not a huge gambler but my spouse is a poker player.  I've never stayed in the hotel, so I can't comment on that.  The casino is very clean and is the closest you'll get to a Vegas casino in this area.  The food is good but not cheap.  The staff is friendly and if you go often enough, they'll start to remember you.

I'm an ex-smoker and the smoke does sometimes bother me on the casino floor.  My spouse was thrilled when they opened up a nonsmoking poker room.

The weirdest thing about this place is how it tries to be an upscale place, but it's in the Marysville area.  You'll see a mix of people who are wearing everything from formal dresses to sweats and track suits.

The slot machines and tables are actually pretty fun (even for a person like me who doesn't gamble all that much).  They're also well maintained.  It's not super crowded and I've never had to wait too long to play a popular machine.

As a disclaimer I'm not a casino person at all nor a gambler. However, I have been to a handful of casinos around the Northwest for one reason or another and Tulalip seems to be up there in the niceness factor.

The casino is beautiful and has lots of pretty lights and glass sculptures. There's a dance club (they charge cover- what's with that??), a venue for live music with lots of seating, and lots of tables and slots.

I didn't eat here but did have drinks and the prices seemed pretty reasonable. My cousin had her bachelorette party here. We all had a great time!

This was a second visit and it was as good as I remembered:)

Now that I am a yelper, here goes my review:
Valet and Bell Service is 5 star!
Front Desk, 3-4 depending on your receptionist.
    Rooms- 5 stars!
    Room Service- 4 star
    Casino service- 4 star
    Blackfish restaurant- 4 star

The price this stay was a steal, maybe due to the fact that Boom City was in the rear of the resort but that was what we came for:) A personal 4th of July show out our window and within walking distance!!

We will be back again, I'm sure!

I really REALLY like this hotel!  First, you must know that you do pay what you are offered, so while the prices may be a bit higher (especially on the wkends), it is well worth the price!

The standard hotel room, is wonderful! There is even a doorbell outside each of the rooms (how cute is that!).  You will need your room key to work the elevator up to the rooms, which is a nice touch.  Throughout the hallways you will find the same theme of modern elegance! I also love the Native touches throughout the hotel.

Welcome to the room!  Greeted by a small entranceway with hanging pendant red glass blown lights in the hallway and on each side of the HUGE bed!  BEAUTIFUL!  Is it possible just to have a vacation in your room?

Bathroom is HUGE! And, that is a plus for us who love to pamper or indulge in narcissim while looking in the mirror, but its also a plus when you have a bunch of friends all getting ready!

Shower is HUGE with multiple shower heads...aaaahhhhh!

    Come relax here!

I have to be up front, I'm not a gambler in any sense of the word.

The Tulalip resort does provide some interesting distractions however. I've never been there when it was 'packed' and service was always readily available and food above average.

I like the fact that it has several clubs, restaurants, and lounges under one roof. It makes it easier to find a location that 'fits the mood' and even have a little variety in an evening. (I just wish gambling wasn't the big draw.... LoL.)

Great buffet, friendly staff, lots of gambling options and awesome entertainment.   The first time I went to the buffet, I walked off with half a tray of pot roast.  Wow, was it good.  They have a large bar/lounge with nightly entertainment.

Tulalip is a large, modern casino with loads of parking.  It is conveniently located next to the Outlet Mall at Tulalip.  So do some shopping then, try your luck and grab a bite to eat.   I would love to stay in the hotel, but man is it expensive.  I'd rather just drive up from Seattle.

I've been going to Tulalip annually since '03.  And every year it seems like there's more and more people discovering the fun you can have at Tulalip.  Perhaps, it's time they expanded.

So I'm not comparing this to the Las Vegas casinos, I'm comapring them to other casinos here in Washington.

Tulalip is one of my favorites - it's clean and eventhough there is smoking I don't leave reaking like stale smoke (like EQC in Fife).  It seems like the slot machines do not pay as well but who knows.  The set up is handy, there are several bars around the whole casino - there are obviously cocktail waitresses running around but it's nice having all the bars you can just walk to if you want.  I had one of the best long islands ever at this casino.

The ceiling is kind of cool - sort of looks like the Paris in Las Vegas.

Anyway, if you want to spend a day shopping at the outlets, eating at a buffet and killing some time in the casino, this is your destination. The attached hotel is nice.  A little bit expensive but in my opinion very worth it.  Everything is decorated in Native American art.  The spa is decent and the pool is fun to hang out at.

Poker room and table games review only. Didn't try the food.

Overall, I won't be coming back to Tulalip for poker or table games. Even though the poker room is large and has at least 20 tables, there were maybe 7 or 8 tables that were open when I signed up, and I still  had to wait over an hour for a seat. I was given a pager, but it didnt' seem necessary since there appeared to be enough on the waitlist for another table. Besides, the main floor is not that great (more below).

I was playing 2/5 NLHE, and the play was fine, but there were a lot of egos and arrogance at the table, which didn't make it very fun or friendly. It may have just been my table.

On the casino floor, the table games need to be improved. There are on average only one or two tables of 3-card poker, let it ride, paigow and all the other standard games. None of them are progressive either. From what I could tell, the dealers are pretty uninteresting and not very friendly either. Plenty of craps and roulette, and a lot of blackjack, but again no progressive or bad beat blackjack.

Won't be making the drive to come back here anytime soon.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in July 2010 and it was 99% amazing! Before I say anything else, I have to sing the praises of James Hillman, their catering sales manager. He is AMAZING. Every single thing we asked him for, we got:

    1) Switching out one dish in the buffet for another on a different menu? Done, no problem.
    2) Working with us to cut down on the cake/appetizer costs? Done, no problem.
    3) Making sure the appropriate family had rooms next to each other (since my grandparents need some help from my aunt)? Done, no problem.
    4) Gluten-free plates for multiple people at no extra charge? Done, no problem.
    5) Putting up with me regularly changing the number of hotel guest rooms we'd need? Done, no problem.
    6) Telling the entire catering crew for our event not to wear perfume or cologne, since my mom has severe allergies? Done, no problem.
    7) Letting my family come in early to get the flowers and table decorations set up? Done, no problem.

And that's just off the top of my head. He was always professional, responsive, positive, and even excited about helping us in any way he could.

The food was wonderful -- my husband and I loved everything they served. And we actually got to eat a full meal -- something that rarely happens for the just-married couple -- due to James's effective timetable for the evening. We got to determine exactly how we wanted all the tables set -- the dinner tables, cake table, buffet tables, gift table, etc., etc., etc. James emailed us diagrams to make sure he had it all set just so.  We also chose the lighting for the room, so everything was bathed in a purple-y pink hue to match our color scheme. Everyone we saw/talked to afterwards raved about the evening and how much fun they had.

My husband and I were also given a complimentary suite for the night, as part of the wedding package and it was amazing too. The bathroom is huge -- probably almost as big as some hotel rooms -- and the bed was so comfortable. All of our gifts were taken up to the suite for us after dinner and the bellhops were awesome the next day about helping us get everything back out to the car.

The 1% of the evening that wasn't amazing was the cake, which the Tulalip pastry chef made. The cake itself was delicious -- easily the best wedding cake I've ever had -- and it was great to have it in-house instead of having another baker deliver it (and getting charged more). But there were two major problems.

First, the frosting: It was really, really thick and we couldn't figure out why they put so much on. It would have been just fine with much less. Plus, the pastry chef had somehow transposed the colors in the design, even though she and I had talked about it a few weeks before and she wrote down what I wanted. It was a very simple cake (no fondant, just flowers and little swirls), so I was surprised when I saw that she'd mixed up the colors. Obviously, *that's* minor in the grand scheme of things, but the cake service was awful!

The manager for the evening (who was *not* James) came up to us at the end of dinner and said we should cut the cake for photos, so they could serve it to everyone and we could start the dancing. We had a smaller presentation cake for us and then sheet cake in the kitchen that was the same cake but not decorated (so it was less expensive). We said we would tell the DJ to announce the cake, but then my best man asked me about the photographer's check. I had to deal with that right then, so we didn't say anything to the DJ, since I was busy with the check situation.

After I got the check squared away, we told the DJ we were ready for him to announce the cake cutting -- and suddenly, I saw plates of cake coming out from the kitchen and a server began setting them down in front of the guests! So I had to rush over and tell the server that my husband and I hadn't cut our cake yet and that he wasn't supposed to be serving any cake until we had. What a mess. However, that was really the only problem we had with the entire reception: the cake.  And since it tasted so good, the debacle with the decorations and service didn't seem so bad....

We highly, highly recommend Tulalip for any event -- wedding reception or otherwise -- and definitely talk to James if you're considering using them as a venue.

This is definitely Washington's best casino!  Good selection of table games and slots.  Food is also very tasty.  Staff is nice and the place is pretty clean.  Yeah there's smoke, but you can't change that :(
I highly recommend this place for those who haven't experienced it yet and be sure to ride that "beginners luck"!

    T-Spa/Gambling/Food

Had a fun weekend here for one of my bestie's birthday. We had the best treatment this weekend!
Valet was a litle confusing cause we weren't sure on where to go and what to do and one of the managers was like scolding their valet boys in front of us which was weird/ unprofesh.
The hotel is lovely, authentic and classy Native American atmosphere/decoration.
The room was gorgeous, there were three of us so we got the Queen Deluxe. The bathroom was very spacious, robes neatly folded, soft and fluffy. The shower has three heads on the shower wall that spray on every part of your body

MPulse lounge was fun, we had a great time in the casino and also got comped for a dinner at Cedar's Cafe.

LADIES-- I cannot even describe to you how amazing the T-Spa was. Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The design and layout of this luxurious spa is breathtaking!
I had the  Regain body treatment and it was absolute heaven.
    Best weekend getaway ever.

This place was awesome. We didn't go to play the games, but just for a nice resort stay. The rooms were very large and decorated so nicely. The beds were so soft and cuddly, and made for a great night's sleep. The showers were all glass and had 3 sprayers and felt amazing, which was finished off by putting on the luxurious bathrobes and lounging on the cushy bed. I also liked how the toilet was at the end of the bathroom in a room by itself.

The concierge suggested a restaurant at the resort, The Blackfish, which was very, very good. I had the Pacific Northwest Bounty Bowl, and I must say it was one of the best things I've ever eaten.

If you're big into second hand smoke, this is the place you've been searching high and low for.

Overall the place is fine. Lots of slot machines, just a few table games, plenty of cocktail spots, a couple of pricy restaurants, yada, yada, yada.

I had to take stars off for the overdose of second hand smoke. I am cool w/smoking indoors, just prefer to have non-smoking space where I can get out of the fog.

Very nice, modern, clean room (and the price reflects that).  It came with a huge flat screen tv and complimentary coffee and tea with Keurig machine.  My favorite thing about it was the 3-headed shower, which made for a very relaxing experience.. almost like a full body mini massage.  The water pressure was perfect, it felt so nice to have the water running down my face.. tickled my butt cheeks just a tad though.  But what is up with having to keep the hall light on to be able to turn the bathroom light on???  A couple of friends had to pee with the door open or use their cell phone as a flashlight in the middle of the night.  The staff were friendly and helpful.  Feel free to ask them for any additional toiletries you may need, e.g. toothbrush.

I have no interest in gambling, but my friends seemed to enjoy themselves at the casino till the wee hours in the morning.  I'm not a fan of all the smoke though.  FYI the bar opens at 6am.

If you happen to be road-tripping across the Canadian border from the west coast, I would definitely consider Tulalip Resort as a place to spend the night.

I have gone to this casino many times just to play the slots, but since I live only an hour away, this was my first time staying at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at the price ($130 before taxes when I used my players card, which anyone can get for free). With all the comments about high prices, perhaps I got a good deal since this was a Thursday night?
As all the reviewers mentioned, the rooms are phenomenal. Great clean line decorating, extremely comfy bed ( I want this mattress!), beautiful huge bathroom with a three headed shower, and cute touches such as a doorbell on the outside that lights up " privacy" or "service needed" on the outside.
We were greeted as we were walking up by a bellhop who was not only extremely nice, but seemed genuinely excited to point out all the amentities on the way to our room. They do not charge you for the bottles of water in your room, and have a keurig coffee machine to brew complimentary coffee or tea. The pool looks beautiful as does the lobby. I was truly blown away at the looks, comfort, and hospitality of this hotel. I will be looking for reasons to stay here again.

As for the casino, it is very smokey. I only play slots so I can't comment on anything else, but the variety of machines are the best of any casino I have been to in this state. I was here just 2 months ago and the machines today are different. This place would be the perfect casino for me if they could just do something about the smoke

Something about this Casino charms my pants off and sets it apart from others but I just can't put my finger on why. For a casino, the beer selection is pretty decent, the buffet is nice, and I broke even after paying for a room, drinks and dinner. Plus I gambled all night into the wee hours of morning. The rooms are SPECTACULAR in their own right and I am looking forward to coming here again in the near future.

I did not find the smoke too overwhelming as previous reviewers have said, and I myself am a reformed smoker that is generally irritated by secondhand cigarette smoke.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Everything is elegant, classy and detailed from the moment you walk through the door. Beautiful artwork, fantastic tribal decor, soft lighting.

The room was AMAZING- so amazing, in fact, that we spent about 90% of our stay in the room (LOL, but true fact). The shower was amazing, the bathroom was huge and modern, the room decor was a fantastic, warm mix of cedar woods, red glass and shiny metals.

We left with some great ideas for interior-designing our own future house, and with a belly full of good food and fun memories (cheesy!)

Slots don't pay out too well, but then again we didn't play enough to really get a good feel of the winning/losing odds.

Had a great week stay.  Meeting rooms were great.  Not one crabby employee in the bunch & everyone went out of their way to insure a comfortable visit.  The kids pillow pets were even stood up & arranged during nightly turn down service.

NOT A BAD JOINT.  DID YOU KNOW THAT MOST CASINOS IN WASHINGTON ARE ALIKE?

Off of I-5 near Marysville, Washington, it's a casino with a few restaurants in it, and a lot of slot machines.  Of course, there are some card tables for poker and crap tables.

It's a big place.  As many casinos are, this one has smoking (which is an annoyance to me, since I'm a non-smoker).

I saw there was a new hotel there, though I've never stayed there.  That could be fun to do that.

The drinks were not free...as in other casinos that I've been at.  There was plenty of parking around the building.

There are lots of heavy ladies with gray hair.  Nice!  :)  And, I think they all smoke too lol.

I'm not a gambler, so I'm just going to write about the spa and the hotel rooms.

I've been to the spa a few times now. What I like about the spa is the services they offer. When you walk in, you automatically feel like you can relax. Also, the "locker rooms" have every single amenity you could ask for, right down to q-tips.
What I don't like about the spa is the competency of the staff. If you schedule an appointment, make sure you triple confirm the time, date, length, and type of service you're getting. I have had this messed up quite a few times. I think the problem is that they try to be accomodating by offering an alternative time/date/length of service if the exact one you want isn't available, but they don't explicitly state it. For example, one time I wanted to schedule a 90-minute couple's massage, but somehow I ended up with a 60-minute single person massage. Fail!
Other than that, if you are able to get the exact appointment you need, you can expect to get some quality relaxation time. :)

The hotel rooms are really nice! The only thing missing is a great view. (All you get is a parking lot, or the freeway). The beds are really comfortable, the sheets are soft, and the Swedish shower is amazing!

Decided to stay one night at the Tulalip Resort.  I've been here before for a birthday party and got to check out the rooms, but hadn't gotten the chance to stay over.
We were able to get early check-in and were so impressed by all the great details of the room.  An incredibly comfortable, large bed and an amazing shower (one of the big pluses of the room).  There are comfy soft robes, free bottle water, free coffee/tea via the Keurig machine, iPod alarm clock, and nice large flat screen TV.  A completely inviting experience.
We also worked out in their gym - which was quite nice.  Not all that big, but it had nice new machines and free weights.
After working out, headed to the pool - which was the perfect temperature.  There were A LOT of kids in there at the time, so we didn't stay too long but opted for a nice soak in the hot tub.
Was able to stay using Triple AAA discount for around $170 (it was a Sun-Mon).  A little pricey, but we had a great time gambling and shopping at the nearby outlet malls.
I would NOT recommend the buffet...it was pretty terrible, but given that all the other restaurant options are extremely expensive, I see why the buffet always has a line.

Even though this casino is not the newest of the Indian Reservations of the NorthWest, it is definitely my favorite.  I absolutely love this casino, because it's big and it is well run.  The staff here are great and very helpful.  One major downer like most of the Indian Reservation Casino's is the smoke.  I'm not a fan of carcinogenic atmospheres and I do walk out of this casino with the whole smoky smell staining my clothes.

Tulalip is the #1 place for fun...(they've done a great job branding that slogan.)

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.  If you're shopping @ the outlets and want to stay the night definitely shell out the few extra bucks to stay here instead of a cheaper hotel in the area.

The rooms are amazing, I pretty much wanted to hang out in the bathroom the whole night it was so deluxe.

The pool is pretty cool as well, the hot tub was super hot (just like I like it).

So shop till you drop @ the outlet mall, take all the money you saved to hit it big @ the casino and then you should have more than enough cash to stay here.  You won't regret it.
