3 reviews for Tucson Children's Museum
This place is great for kids between 2-12. The Museum is in a cool historic building, with lots of parking all around. There are many different rooms with interactive exhibits. My kids especially love Mind Your Own Body, which has lots of health related stuff and the market, where they can shop and picnic. New in a few weeks is a vet clinic.
They have lots of festivals and hands-on activities, too.
The only reason I didn't give it more stars is because I have to compare it against things the the Science Museum in Pheonix, etc. For Tucson this place is a great way to have children do interactive learning. There is a submarine exhibit, a jungle playroom, an art room where kids can explore how different mediums work, and another room dedicated to science. It was a great place to enjoy with kids. I would definitely suggest this place to all parents. Today was free day because of a parade, look out for those to avoid the fee for adults.
My kids had a great time here! There's lot of exhibits for the kids to play at . . . a fire station, a market, a dinosaur exhibit, an ocean exhibit, trains, an art room, a music room and the "zoom" area. It was an awesome place to spend the day. Check their calendar for all the events that are always going on. If we lived closer, I'd take the kids to more of those events.
