My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Tucker Hill Inn over New Years. The Inn is a very comfortable place with plenty of places to lounge, there is a computer and wireless internet available should you need it. The inn is also a very short drive from Sugarbush.
Phil and Alison were outstanding hosts. Our breakfasts were great and we definitely plan on visiting again.
My only words of caution are: Make sure you have new tires / chains and preferably four wheel drive, getting up their driveway is not easy.
My corolla was no match for the hill and we slid into a ditch on the way to the mountain New Years Eve. Our day was nearly ruined, but Phil kindly gave us a lift to the peak. (AAA also made record time and showed up in about 10 minutes to tow the car back to the safety of the parking lot)
