Recently a surprise birthday party was thrown for my good buddy here and everything went off without a hitch. The space was excellent for our party of 40 or so as was the service by the bar and restaurant staff.
The sushi and other goodies that were provided were quite good and there was more than enough to go around for our group.
They have several dining areas, including a small outdoor area and the bar is large and well equipped. I would definitely recommend this joint for a large get together and while I didn't get a chance to look at their regular menu but I'm sure it's quite good.
Went here last weekend and wasn't to impressed. We started with the Scallop and Shrimp Pot stickers which were horrible. They were basically fried hollow shells with very little filling in them. Not worth the 12 dollars at all
My girlfriend opted for Sushi which was pretty standard at best. The Spicy Tuna Roll was a basic Tuna Roll with a little seasoning on top, pretty disappointing.
I went for one of the fish entrees; Miso Mustard Crusted Sea Bass. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly and was the highlight of the meal.
As far as the service and the atmosphere it wasn't that enjoyable. The lame lounge music was way to loud for the amount of people in there and the service was non-existent at times.

A very attractive space, contemporary decor and a pleasant dearth of over-crowded, jammed-in seating combine to make for a clearly tailored-to-the-hip-crowd experience. And I mean that in the best possible silly-drinks-aren't-a-"martini" -just -because-you-put-them-in-a-martini-glass way.
The sushi was very good. Creative combinations and reliable "stand bys," both. Excellent prices, too.
One warning: I can't recall the name of it, but there's a weird sushi-in-a-shot glass thing. For God's sake, don't do it. Unspeakably foul. Almost ruined our night because it was the last thing we tried.
Good news was, another frou-frou cocktail to wash it down and all was forgiven. But for real. Yuck-o.
Give this place a try, particularly if you want to introduce someone to sushi but don't want to pay through the nose for it.
I've always loved the lemongrass tsunami duo of annapolis. I mean LOVED. But something went awry. I'll stick to tsunami for this moment. Does anyone remember the old Sonar in Canton? Well that's what it looks like. We went one night after a movie at The Landmark and just wanted to have a nice glass of champagne. Instead, we were barraged by really bad music that was soooooooooooooooo loud we looked for a spot to hide from it ALL NIGHT LONG. The people had the cocaine effect going on . . . meaning, they never stopped talking and they were JACKED UP. We didn't eat but I'm sure that the food was outstanding. We then decided to leave since the atmosphere was a tad annoying. Another ish. That parking. Backing out on Bank Street at night when people have been drinking . . . not cute. Someone had to stand outside of the car and check for traffic because it was so congested and you can't really back into the spot. So I give it three stars, mainly based on the fond recollections I have of Annapolis, but also because we didn't eat. Check back for more!
