great hangover meal.
the vegetables are very fresh and the chicken is very tender.
it's usually crowded which is definitely a good thing.

I actually give it 3.5 stars.  This is quite the little hidden secret in Incline.  First, it's located off to the side of a large building, which you would only notice because of the movie theater connected to it.  When you step out of your car, you smell this smokeiness coming from some place distinctly NOT the movie theater.  So you make your way around the building, following your nose.

You come around and don't really see much of anything, until you look up and see the plume of smoke coming from the chimney.  Then you follow the smoke down to a little no-name hole-in-the-wall.  You walk in and are greeted by a bunch of construction workers who are looking at you like you're the piece of chicken they're about to eat.

The guys who run this place are really nice and rotisserie a mean chicken.  I would say that it closely rivals that of Limon Rotisserie.  However, the only drawback was the green salsa.  No, not a tomatillo salsa, but more of a sauce, that was green, and tasted like an herby syrup.  It was pretty sweet and didn't really go with the chicken.  So I stopped using the sweet stuff and turned to some run-of-the-mill salsa and finished the last of my meal.

Will definitely hit this place up again whenever I'm in Incline!

This is really a take out place with healthy food versus a buger on white bread. Chicken or Tri tip and a salad or taco's are all good home cookin. Nothing fancy but always good.

You walk in through a door that takes you pass their walk-in cooler, then through another door that takes you into their small but non-descript venue.

flat screen on the wall, a couple t-shirts displayed on the wall for sale, and a cool looking rotisserie with meat and chicken slowing turning with the dripping running down the side of the meat and down into a drip pan.

The wonderful smell permeates through the air, as you look at their simple but full of goodness menu on the wall.

I had the Soy Lime Half of Chicken with black beans and rice with hot sauce.  Soy sauce marinade, lime juice, white wine, garlic, herbs and spices... mmmm, the slowly burnt skin, greasy and crisp.  Oh yeah,

Most people I saw eating there and those ordering afterwards were getting the burritos, which looked very good as well.

Prices are frick'n reasonable here.  I mean, a whole chicken for 8and 1/2 bucks, Sweet Caroline.

Next time I go back, I'll need to try he beef tri-tip, as i loves the meat.

Even the menu look delicious, I'd lick it on the bingbong.

As a resident of Incline, not a season goes by without a new restaurant opening and then promptly closing a few months later.  This place is the true testament of what it takes to withstand the test of time.

awesome food + good service = SUPER loyal meat-loving following

You can come in here from lunch to dinner and there will be a line, because it is just THAT good.

I recommend the tri-tip sando with cheese and guac.

The next time you are looking for awesome, cheap eats ... this is the place to go.

Have you ever noticed that many restaurant reviews for the Tahoe area begin something like "well...for Lake Tahoe, this restaurant is pretty good"? Well, that's primarily because restaurants around the Lake suck!
Well...the food at T's is really, really good regardless of wherever you are. Amazingly tasty rotisserie chicken as a meal or in a burrito/taco. Best tri-tip that I've ever had. And the meal doesn't come with the typical "you're-up-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-so-we-can-char ge-you-whatever-we feel-like" price either!

I had the chicken burrito and it was truly the best burrito I've ever had.  My son had the tri tip burrito which he thought was excellent also.  My husband had the tri tip platter and we all tasted the meat, it was very tender and flavorful.  The service was great and the food excellent!

I'm an Incline Village resident, have lived here for 7 years and have seen restaurants come and go in town.  When you only have a half hour for lunch and want to spend some of your hard-earned cash on a good meal that won't break the bank, there are only a handful of places that are decent options.

I like the fact that when I walk in, they greet me by my first name.

I like the fact that you have 3 choices of salsa (go for the medium green version - yum).

I like the fact that the same people seem to have worked here forever and ever behind the counter - they work as a team, and food comes out fast and flavorful.

Bring cash - unless you're a local, they won't take a check.  No credit / debit cards either (run over to the 7-11 to use the ATM).

I've been to the Yucatan in Mexico, and their version of the Yucatan chicken is as authentic as you can get anywhere within a hundred miles.  Mmmmm.  Other than the fact that their windows overlook the 7-11 parking lot instead of the ocean and palm trees, you could almost be in the Yucatan!

T's is an Incline Village tradition for me and my friend's.  I've been coming here every year for probably the last five years or so.  There aren't too many decent places to eat in Incline, so when you find one, you tend to stick to it.  I usually get a burrito, but branched out to the pork tacos.  I thought this was sort of authentic mexican, although meat is kept in a very white-folk friendly vernacular: tri-tip, pork, chicken (no carne asada, etc.).  I thought it was cool that they use corn starch based products for their plastic wear, but minus one star b/c you can't compost them when you throw them in plastic garbage bags!

Thanks T's for another great meal.  I'll be back again next Tahoe trip!

I recently visited this place twice while up at Incline Village, and they have some excellent tri tip! In fact, it was so damn good that I had a tri tip burrito the first time I went and a half-pound of tri tip by itself the second time I went. They also serve up two types of chicken and pork (if I remember right).

As you may infer from my above statements, you can get your meat served up Mexican-style (in a burrito or quesadilla) or by itself (with two side dishes plus tortillas or garlic bread).

Their homemade chips and salsas are also really good, and compliment whatever you decide to order.

Their prices are pretty fair and the people working there are cool. There's not much to say about the decor and it is a cafeteria-style restaurant, so you can leave your church clothes at home when you dine here.

I'll definitely hit this place up the next time I'm at Incline Village!

The service was good but the food was OK.  My wife and I weren't too impressed with it this time.  We have been here in the past but this time the sandwichs were soggy and not the best.  I know the other post rave about the food but I would not.

Maybe i just caught them on an off day.  I am glad to see a restaurant has made it over the test of time.

They should take credit cards.  We are in 2009.

Really hard to find -- to the right of the 7-11, under the movie theater and big signs for a Thai place next door, with their small sign partially obscured by a tree or a light or something.

Guys seemed super nice, and the TV had Mexican league soccer, that's a big thumbs up for me.

I liked the selection of bottled beers they had, nothing really unusual but good variety for such a small place.

The chicken was good, but not "to die for".  The tri-tip was good too.  Not a fan of the beans or rice, though.  Should have tried the medium salsa, I forgot the Yelp advice and got the hot, which just tasted like Habeneros, no complexity.

Probably if I go back, I'll order more intelligently, and might upgrade to 4 stars.

Cheap, fast, friendly, and nice atmosphere.

T's has been a local favorite for years and years. They took over after Jerry's Fast Food. Anyone remember that place? If you do, then you've been here a long time. And you probably already know that T's is the place for a quick lunch time burrito that always hits the spot.

The best place for lunch in about a 150 mile radius!

The owners and employees are all great people and have been fixtures of the village for decades now.

One memorable meal:
Went with a friend and we ordered a pitcher of draft beer and burritos. Finished the pitcher, and ordered another. Once we finished the huge burritos we were quite full, but decided the rotisserie chicken looked too damn good to pass up, so we ordered a whole one. Finished the second pitcher and ordered a third. Enjoyed a whole chicken and the third pitcher and left happy as can be with waistlines expanded a few inches!

I wanted to find out what all the fuss was about and fellow Yelpers were right in giving this spot such high marks.

We stopped in just to pick something up and eat at home.  This place was pretty small... and crowded

LOVED the chicken burritos... the shredded chicken was sooo good!!  the salsas were tasty, the hot was actually hot!  no complaints here... (oh except for it being small)

We were in and out quickly and the burrito was huge... not expensive either... Wish I could have tried other things but our weekend had to come to an end... WAHH!! back to reality and the Sacramento smog...

Before I left Tahoe, during summers in college I was a lifeguard, and drove a very cool convertable. I would let the 16 year old jr. lifeguard who worked for me drive it up to T's for burritos.

T's is great, they make the best burrito in Tahoe, in fact I think the tri-tip burrito stacks up well against even the best burritos in San Francisco. The rotisserie chicken is great, I like to get the chicken when I have a group of people up to the house and we are all too tired to eat after a long day of skiing or mt. biking. This is a Tahoe casual place, come as you are, just good food.

This place is really small but it packs good food. The place was so crowded when I was there (sunday lunch).

This was the first time I saw and ate organic rotisserie chicken (unlike those huge rotisserie chicken you found at your local grocery stores). I ordered the Yucatan Chicken (I haven't tried the keylime, maybe next time around). The chicken was juicy, tender, and flavorful.

Definitely the 2nd best chicken I have ever had in the U.S., in terms of overall flavor. My 1st choice would be El Regio's chicken eventhough they are not organic chicken (only in Texas).

I also ordered the beef tri tip (I think it's beef brisket), it was as hard as a rock and it didn't have any flavor (thumbs down). I ended up giving the beef tri tip to my dog since I couldn't eat it. The salsa corn chips were okay, definitely not the best one I had.

Overall i enjoyed the chicken and will go back for some more chicken.

Best kept secret in Incline...however its not so secretive anymore. Everytime i come here there is a line out the door...and for good reason. You can smell this place from across the street. I always get the chicken platter(How can you not?! you can watch them being roasted infront of your eyes) but the steak is melt in your mouth. The burritos are hugoungous and oh, so good. This place is fast pace and loud. Either get take out or sit out side an eat and soak up the sun if you can. Best cheap eat in the area by far

It's all in the name "Rotisserie." You come here for the chicken and then you take it home. The eating area is small and a dive.  The garlic bread is a disappointment and you are much better off getting the salsa and chips with your chicken. You can't beat the price, particularly in Incline. I have never tried the burritos, but then they don't called T's burrito either.

My dad has always been about traditions.  Disneyland during December, Sunday visits to grandma's house, dinner out on Saturdays, 'panfino' from the pandulceria on Fridays, and trips to Tahoe during April.  Our Tahoe trips always involved at least one stop at T's.   T's was part of the tradition.  My grandma owned a condo in Incline, so the convenience factor played a part in this tradition, but it wasn't the only reason.  T's Mesquite Rotisserie is good.  I like the chicken burritos, my dad has always been a fan of the tri tip.  And, now that I'm married, my hubby has been introduced to this tradition.  Though my visits to Tahoe are now usually centered around South Shore, we always make a stop at T's- to keep the tradition alive.  :)

I definitely will be back.  Great chicken.   Prices are very fair for Tahoe.  Burritos are decent, but don't confuse them for mexican food.  It's really all about the rotisserie meats here. Given the lack of quality affordable food in tahoe this place can get packed.

Four stars for great steak burritos, a personal favorite.  Don't miss them if you are a steak burrito fan.  Funny location, but next to our landlord's office, so I have the excuse to indulge from time to time.  Not that you need an excuse - very reasonable and something for everyone.  Very casual - almost a take out place, but there are tables, but don't come for atmosphere, come for the steak burritos (or did I already mention those)? I think that may be our minivan covering the view in the picture of the place.

T's has the best burritos I have ever had. I used to live in Incline Village, and I couldn't go a few days without a T's burrito. Definitely go with the tri tip burrito. The meat is fantastic, there are no fat pieces or other nasty parts of the meat that many other burrito places seem to have. I look forward to coming back to visit just so that i can get my hands on another burrito.
