I had the Seared Tuna, which I ordered medium rare but ended up being medium (big difference in the tuna world). It was very good though and the soy sauce was robust. Almost smoky. The rice was average but the vegetables were excellent. Not overcooked (still had a nice snap) and tasty. My salad was the Belinda Salad (pine nuts, bleu cheese, onion and sun dried tomatoes with a balsamic) and it was amazing!

My GF had rich, decadent crablegs. Unfortunately, the drawn butter wasn't 'drawn'. Her veggies were also excellent and the loaded potato was pretty good.

My pina colada wasn't very sweet. So I ordered a beer, Shiner (great as always). GF's strawberry daquiri was yummy.

The service was great. The biggest problem was that it was a little pricey for what it was even though it is fancier than most places in Port A.

BEST PART: The view of the marina and sitting three tables down from Tommy Lee Jones!

We read the reviews for here and decided to give it a go, besides the live music on the patio the experience was bad and the food was heinously overpriced. It's a small menu selection and the food was particularly bland. The service took way too long. I would rather swim into the gulf of Mexico and eat sea slugs than go here.

I really enjoyed eating here. This is a nice place right on the harbor with a big patio out back where you can eat and watch the boats, the waves, and the pelicans.

It's pretty pricey in my opinion, most of the dishes come in between $12-$25. The appetizer calamari we got wasn't the little fried rings but the big strips of squid meat (I much prefer the little rings!) and was $10. Otherwise, the ambiance is very nice and the waitstaff seemed pretty prompt and professional during my visit. I would visit again.

We were sick of the groceries we brought for our family's week stay at Executive Keys up the road, so we decided to venture out, just my husband and myself, and find a nice place to eat.

We settled on this restaurant because it wasn't fast-foodish with paper napkins, but didn't seem stuffy, either.  They had lovely views of the water, but it seems very crowded.  The tables were a bit closer together than necessary.

The food was very good, and the service was great, but they lost a star for me for two reasons:
1.) The hostess was young (high school age) and unimpressed with her job.  She sat us as though she had better things to do.
2.) The bill was a bit high.  I mean, I know we're on vacation, but our money isn't.

At any rate, it was a nice place to go without our teens.  We'll probably visit there again next year, but maybe won't order an appetizer. ;)

We often eat at Trout Street when we visit Port Aransas.  I'm not sure if the management has changed, but it was not as good this time as it once was.  We visited Trout Street with a party of eight.  My wife's favorite dish was no longer on the menu, so four of us ordered the grilled Mahi-Mahi.  When it arrived, it was brown and smelled funny.  Thinking it may just be seasoned differently, we each took a bite or two.  I tasted mine and it was definitely bad fish.  We don't usually complain, but we told the waitress, who told the manager.  To their credit, the manager took one look at our plates and offered our meals on the house, saying he could tell it was bad fish just by looking at it.  He said they had recently changed suppliers and that the fish was clearly not up to their usual standard.  I'm still giving them 4 stars based on our excellent past experiences with them, and they did rectify this situation without a problem.  However, the menu and supplier changes may indicate a change in management or business practices.  Every business has bad days, and hopefully this was just one of those times.  I would recommend them still, but I would also tell people to be cautious if they even think their fish doesn't look or smell as it should.
