Although this place is always crowded, the food was just ok. Maybe it would have been better if I actually went there and didn't order delivery. I have found since moving to MD that it does make a difference what method one uses to try places. And the better experience comes from going there directly. Generous 3 stars...

Food is always great! Service is meh..sometimes they pickup the phone, most of the time the line is busy.
You can order through UberEats to avoid this problem.

Very small space to accommodate customers going it and out of the restaurant. Not really meant to eat inside .

Best Caribbean food in Marlow Heights! I always get curry chicken and I'm never disappointed. The entrees come standard with rice & cabbage. The food is good and the staff is really nice. This is a small carry-out restaurant but there are a few tables available for dining in.

The peas in the rice were hard. The oxtails were only the bones. The patty was old. The coco bread was ok though. It was just terrible! Don't waste your coins!

Can we all say "yo-man" on the count of 3. While visiting the Island Bwoy Cuisine the Chef asked if I wanted to grab some lunch @ a tiny Jamaican restaurant not far from his place. Located in a strip mall this unassuming place serves one of the best for this style cuisine. Since Chef Mark is a frequent customer & from the island, they put together a variety of items for us. Pictured at the top was the Goat stew which was over the top, along with the jerk chicken, oxtails, the staple rice and cabbage and tiny bite size portions of plantains. Everything was fabulous and having never eaten goat stew - that in itself was amazing. One knows when an ethnic restaurant knows how to cook as the meat off the oxtails and goat just fell off the bone with savory flavors coupled with the sauces. 5 solid stars for this small business and hope work sends me back to this area!

This is a delicious hidden gem that is well worth seeking out! We came for ice cream a few businesses over but saw this and decided to try it first. We were offered samples to help us decide and the portions are great. The best thing about it, though, was the service by the woman at the register. She was welcoming and knowledgeable, and the entire time we were there she showed patience and efficiency that is very lacking in most places today. We may have found our regular spot, finally!

Always have loved this place for its soups and jerk chicken . Just tried the ackee and salt fish and I am completely turned off . It is gross . Doesn't taste like salt fish at all . No seasoning nothing . Other than that everything else from here has been delicious .
